Krautrock?... Giorgio Moroder is the real Man Machine 😎 My name is Giovanni Giorgio, but everybody calls me...the father, founder and pioneer of EDM and the Modern Electrónic / The Sound Of The Future.
@@dpalaoro I assumed you meant one for each stage. You certainly have that option. It could sound cool, if each oscillator is set up to make a different kind of sound, such as a sine wave, a square wave, sawtooth, maybe one going through a ring modulator etc. It could end up sounding like a Perry & Kingsley piece !
@@and7barton ahhh okay! So I am thinking of this correctly. 👍 That helps a lot. I've tried looking on UA-cam for anyone using the this sequencer in that manner, but haven't found anyone. Not even someone using two or three different oscillators, for example
Sorry - I was wrong. See his video about Q960 Audio Oscillator, in which he does use it to make sounds by turning up the speed of the internal oscillator.
Sounds very Close Encounters of the Third Kind! Very helpful demo
Wow man this such an awesome overview I love it. Thanks Roger. :)
Useful, no frills overview. Didn’t know about the fourth switch position- and I have one of these!
Unfortunately, the Behringer 960 doesn't have this, which is a big disappointment.
Thanks for sharing. That was really interesting.
It’s amazing anyone made usable music w that like Kraftwerk

Outstanding demo Roger.
Totally cool! A great demo - Thanks Roger!
cool vids, good idea. thanks ;)
So would you use 8 oscillators, one for each stage?
You could, but a single oscillator would normally be used, or perhaps a couple for a fat sound or a chord.
@@and7barton oh no, i don't mean all 8 going through each stage together. I mean, 8 different oscillators, one for each stage. Does that make sense?

Can this make sound on its own or do you need a separate oscillator for it?
Separate oscillator. This just triggers and arranges the sounds.
