Try looking at the OHTO Tasche fountain pen. Very small but does become a good-sized pen. They also did an OHTO Tasche ballpoint, which is sadly discontinued. I have one and it is my most used ballpoint pen.
$118 for an aluminum pen?! No thanks. That’s an insane price.
You should check out the Kaweco Lilliput pen. It’s really small when closed and full sized when posted. You can get it in fountain or ballpoint. Also the LP-5 pen does the same thing.
I just got one! I'm going to mention it in an upcoming video. :)
@@BeastMadeReviews Looking forward to it. I love your pen reviews
I have a one of the dango wallets and I changed the pen out for a the sweet little Zebra telescopic pen. That is a great little pen and much easier to deploy. My dango pen just sits in a box.
Yep, the Zebra was a glaring omission in the video.
Well done...in terms of mini pens, my favorites would probably be the BID dual click mini or the BID mini bolt action, but if we can safely move up a little in terms of diameter, I truly love the Pocket Pro. Although I'm generally not a big fan of the large bulb-like grip of the older BID designs and prefer the slim models, the Pocket Pro is an exception. Having a larger diameter grip section is an advantage for me with a pen that short, and I love how adjustable the Pocket Pro is - especially compared to the mini bolt, mini dual side click and mini (twist). I think I've got seven BID mini-pens - time to branch out, starting with a few of these here, so thank you!
Great review! You missed the Stillwell by the James Brand though. Fantastic tiny pen that closes into the cap like the space pen. Great weight as well, and looks beautiful
Finally! EDC Video!!!
thanks man!
More coming. :)
Cool series! Does Oliver Sha ever restock? The move pen looks perfect for what I need, I like how it's got a big eye for a niteize Sbiner, so I don't have to use the flimsy little split rings. But it looks like I might have to go elsewhere because I can't find it anywhere.
I'm honestly not sure. You might need to email and ask. I would actually love to know, myself. 😆
For an affordable pen that can actually feel comfortable writing with, the Zebra F 301 is impossible to beat. I visit construction sites daily and it has never let me down. And if I lose it? You pay more in tax on most of the recommended pens here. They write. Don’t overcomplicate things.
if you don't want to overcomplicate things, just buy a pen refill and stick it in your pocket. No need for a Zebra either. The point of having something useful is more than just doing the job itself. It's about a number of other things like comfort, easy of use, and works best for you.
Hmm all looks normal but short, you should try a ohto minimo pen, they are really cool and small for wallet =)
I will check it out!
wow i would love an oliver sha
The main trouble with fisher space pens is that the brass always splits.
Benchmade Shorthand 1121 👌🏻
how do you completely overlook the kaweco line of small pens?
I didn’t overlook anything. I just can’t fit everything in one video.
Space pen rocks.
Pretty cool, that you say the prices
I'm not in the US so most of these double in price once they show up at my door. It's inconvenient and costs a lot more because of border taxes. Maybe try finding some world wide options for another video idea!
All the pens I choose are ones that I think are easily accessible. It's impossible for me to make a video considering every country in the world. Even if I choose pens in other countries (which I have in other videos), that would still not guarantee that the price would be universal.
@@BeastMadeReviews I guess US makes good quality thing and china makes all the cheaper stuff. I guess it isn't that bad for me because i'm not that far away from US
How can you not mention the Kaweco Lilliput?
Good price, lots of different metals and finishes, ballpoint and fountain options(If you have 2, they can be interchangeable) and finally, the writing experience is superb as it can be capped, giving you a beautiful full size pen. 😔😪 not so much of a pen guy.
It’s not a comprehensive list. The Liliput looks like a great pen, but I had to stop at some point.
I like the design of the space pen but the refills are just too expensive.
oh i almost have a question, i just got the mini click pen and i tried out one of the reills on the schon design pen. The refill is fell right out fromt he front so may i ask how you got a d1 refill to fit?
I bought their D1 adapter available on their website.
@@BeastMadeReviews oh then never mind that would be too expensive due to border taxes but thanks!
wdym mean tiny bro thas average size
I mentioned that in the video.
Do you know of anymore pens like the schodsgn, where the cap screws onto the back? The only other one I know of, are the machine era classic
I'm sure I've seen some, but I don't remember them.
I am making Altoids stationary EDC kit.
Please suggest -
1) Liquid glue which can be used repeatedly
2) Transparent tape which can be cut without scissors
3) Compact slim stapler
Hey buddy, have you dove into the Mandella Effect yet? I think your personality would be great for ME vids 👍
