- Welcome back to Assassin's Creed Origins. It's been a while since I've played this game. Out of the three most recent AC titles I have to say this one takes it with ease. I've always enjoyed this game, I really think they did a good job changing things up while creating a very good origin story for the franchise. A lot of the game mechanics aren't the best and they might have ran with the worst parts of what they made, but overall, for this game I think they nailed it. Origins is probably the best of the RPG Assassin’s Creed titles because it had a balance of fun RPG elements and combat while also still having a great story, protagonist and stuff that made Assassin’s Creed iconic

Definitely, I had the most fun with Odyssey, but Origins is more captivating and has a special aura getting the balance between rpg and classic ac

The story and character personality are better in origins tho, i'd give it that.
There is something about this game that I love with the music and the sounds of Egypt in the background it is so damn awesome this game truly is a masterpiece

For me this was if not the most beautiful AC game they did and I'm favourite gotta be AC 2 since I love Venice. But Origins was amazing and the map was not overwhelmingly big compared to the next ones.
I liked origins, it just wasn’t very animation heavy for me which meant seeing bayek stab a person in the neck for the thousandth time.
I took this game for granted when it first came out, only played the main story but didnt go further on the side quest and location.
this game still looks good beyond 2023... when i have fully save up for a steam deck, damn a portable to move around

I wish they put more tools in the games that followed, I mean I understand character wise why they didn't but I feel like they still could have put more interesting tools for stealth play that don't require the bow

@@timoplays478 finished the game in 30 hours, endgame was so fun just mindlessly doing stealth assasinations and clearing forts without hud. 40 hours into odyssey now, origins was one of the most fun games ive played in years ngl.

As much as i dig the rpg trilogy
Origins for me was the perfect blend of action, stealth and exploration, the parkour was pretty lackluster but it honestly fits perfectly with how the game and stealth feels

This game still have balance between action stealth and RPG elements, sad that ubi had to push RPG further in odyssey and valhalla.

Once I learned i could just switch the controls around and put RT + A as the parkour buttons again this game became my #2 ac game

i liked origins but the character progression was very bad, just like in odyssey u couldnt assassinate npcs with higher level than you, and u couldnt headshot them, valhalla imo is best because of that, from the beginning u can do stealth no matter the level of the enemies
Thats not even true, origins is the only one where you can headshot kill enemies with a normal hunter bow. Enemies of a higher level or that are further away just required a predator bow shot. Valhalla also doesn’t let you kill enemies of a higher level, at least not without the required skill.
@@horizon5856 I just replayed origins and that’s not true, early in the game the hunter bows aren’t strong enough to headshot enemies, even predator bows aren’t, even the hidden blade isn’t strong enough to kill some enemies, in Valhalla if u follow the story the enemies u encounter can all be killed with your hidden blade or bow.
