Probably a lot, but the real pain probably was the parkour system, as good as the parkour looks in this game, if you played it, you'd know how clunky and unresponsive it is

What makes me excited about Mirage is that they may bring back the parkour from Unity and also the explore and create opportunities and unique kills
Its confirmed, Ubisoft said they would. I assume there will be tweaks tho
make the combat like ac3/ac4 and its perfect

@@Just_Jac0b ideal AC combat should be fast but deadly. Make it so if you’re good you can quickly dispatch 1 to 3 enemies so you can easily chain detection straight back into stealth, but also make it that you die quickly, encouraging players to actually engage with the stealth mechanics otherwise they’ll go down in like 3 or so hits.
It's not possible to bring back the parkour from Unity for this game. But they've confirmed the return of blackbox missions. Infact, you might have to investigate beforehand to create these opportunities before the blackbox missions starts.
You use the parkour mechanics so effectively it truly shows off the impact the world design makes on how a player approaches a certain situation. You have earned yourself a sub
this is the best run i've seen so far on this sequence, it was cinematic and exciting to watch at the same time loved it
In retrospect, I think Unity might be the best game in the entire series. The parkour, gadgets, and animations are all top notch. Hopefully one day they make another game like this.
The story was broken to pieces, literally. It may have had some of the best mechanics but what really makes the game lacked so heavily.

@@RandomVids0987 Agreed, I wouldn't say the story was bad though. The pacing and structure was, some missions just shouldn't have existed. I suppose saying the story's concept was good, is most correct.
@@bchow6504 but they didn't, they tried to do different for arnos character but had horrible writing especially with its story that had potential but it started amazingly in the opening but after that the story fumbled like ubisoft trying not to get police raided in snooping drugs

Anyone who has not played AC:U doesn't understand the amount of level awareness and precision went into this. There are only a couple of moments where you go "Ahhh, that looked a bit unnatural.", as opposed to the regular glitchy madness that is AC parkour.
Good lord this was an impressive run. Almost makes me want to go back and give Unity another try. Incredible work as always.
Considering the amount of small glitches this game has, I can't imagine how many times it took to record this so smoothy gameplay. Congratulations!
Unity’s stealth is so damn good it’s literally being replayed years later, 4 main title releases later. Mirage better be remotely similar
Mirage is being made using VALHALLA engine and mechanics

I think Mirage will probably play as if it's DLC for Valhalla, which it basically is. That's how it started out and then they had enough content to make its own game. But it's using the same engine as Valhalla, so they'd have to put in a lot of custom work to make it play more like Unity. Not sure that I see that happening
@@dstutz unity and Valhalla both use AnvilNext 2.0 as an engine. Mirage has the capability to play the exact same way as Unity if they want to make it like thay
@@dstutz it's actually doable because starting from unity until valhalla, they all use same software game engine called AnvilNext2.0, so it's a matter of copy paste the code
The parkour and stealth in this game are incredible.

What a astonishing coincidence it is, i was just playing this mission last night for the first time and was thinking as i was going trough it "in how many epic ways and what strats someone like SGBR or a speedrunner would use to slaughter this part of the game?" and now i got blessed with this random recommendation from the master himself, just 1 min after upload wow.
Absolutely incredible. Perfect parkour, perfect stealth, perfect use of the environment.
Every single time you upload one of these I get the urge to replay the game... and then I do and remember that the input delay in this game is absolutely insane. I have nothing but respect for people who achieve impressive runs in this game, because it takes a lot of patience and skill to make ACU look effortless. Seriously, well done.

Man, I really want Mirage to step back here. If Ubisoft wants to make an RPG, go for it. But I really prefer AC to be like this; strike from the shadows, climbing to keep you in stealth, strike suddenly and then vanish

I lost interest at Black Flag cos it was turning to something else and didn't buy more. Until Origins. Because I wanted to see the beginning of Assassins.
Then was caught by the mystery box dangling in front of me by the Odyssey and Valhalla titles... I like open world games, but Valhalla bored me so much by the halfway that I wanted it to end. Needlessly huge, barren and a slog to get thru.
I'm gonna wait for an extensive review of Mirage before I decide if I'm gonna buy it.

@@godzillazfriction well to this day i have not seen any compelling arguments suggesting that Odyssey is a good AC title, from what others have told me, they bought this game for the Greek mythos and RPG elements
glad people are enjoying it, but its not Assassins Creed, Odyssey and Immortals Fynix Rising are clearly both the same kind of game, so it feels even less of an AC title now (in my opinion)

Beautiful work as always. I just hope developers see play throughs like this and bring back a lot of the mechanics of unity for mirage and polish it up. If they ever manage to do that, they should just straight up invite StealthGamerBR and LeoK to do the gameplay trailer.

I bought this because of StealthGamer. I've always been a fan of the older Assassination Creed games, but missed this one. Great game, but definitely has some jank. I got pretty good, but I could never make Arno move as smooth as you consistently. I love watching these videos. Super creative on your approach to combat!

Hopefully not. Unity was the begining of the end. An AC1 style parkour system that prioritizes player skill and options is best.
