In today's review we drive Porsches most expensive car in its 911 992 lineup. This is of course the 992 Porsche 911 Sport Classic. The 992 Sport Classic is a very special car which takes the best parts out of every Porsche 911 and combines them to make the ultimate car. With a 3.7L twin turbo engine from the Porsche 992 Turbo the Sport Classic produces 550HP and with a 7 speed manual transmission it is the most powerful manual car porsche sell. To top this off it is RWD unlike the AWD Turbo. In todays video we talk about why this car is so good and why the 992 GT3 is no longer king of the manual 911s.

After almost 4000 miles driven, I agree with you. I had a friend build a 992 C2 gts in pts /CXX for the same msrp as a sport classic…. Sport classic hands down is the winner, and has a unique driving experience. For those who say they prefer a gts don’t have enough seat time in the SC to experience its specialness.

The only reason that car is going to hold value more than a gt3 or gt3rs is because it has a number plate. That car is slower than a turbo and less involving than a gt3. Aside from good looks, nothing special is going on with it.
