    I could watch your videos all day. Pure gems! I love the way you break things down play by play and explain every more from both sides of the ball to help us to know the Why behind everything. It really helps to apply these tips easier. You're a really great teacher! Amazing analysis 👏 👌 You also help us to see that nothing these professional tennis players do is by chance

    Invaluable information breakdown. Where the heck was all this when I was learning to play about a century ago? Nice job.

    Great clip. Thought Carlos was gonna hit an inside out forehand volley into the Ad court. But he wrongfooted Rublev and volleyed into the Deuce court... Guessing that whichever way you choose to volley the forehand (inside -out or down the line) the foot stance does not change. Just set up the feet in the same way as in 7:00 and simply change the volley contact point.

    Your videos and suggestions and strategies are good; however if one cannot master the technique it is very difficult to apply the theory. Thanks for all your videos.

    Smart lesson! Opens up questions. So it appears that Alcaraz' +1 move works if he serves either to the body or BH. If he serves to the forehand then moves to his left, he exposes more court to his right as the propensity for the receiver in this situation is to hit their FH cross court, yes? Does this work as well in the deuce court?

      Hard worker, excellent technique, moves well, seems like a really good kid. I’m hoping he can achieve his goals.

    Carlos changed the game of tennis. He makes his opponent move forward and backward to often compared to other players

      Pick one thing and focus on it and practice it. If you had to focus on one of the ideas you learned in this video during your next match/practice which one would it be?

    • @2MinuteTennis
      @2MinuteTennis  2 роки тому +1

      You’re not supposed to learn all of them immediately. Just pick one and work on it. Then as you get better at it you’ll focus on another one. And so on.

      @@2MinuteTennis I think I'll choose waiting 1 step behind the correct return place. I'll move foreward and then split step. But all of them are great tips.

    instead of this squash forehand, Rublev could have used a high lob into the end of the court.. probably he would have lost this rally anyway, but for sure he would be back again on court on time

    1 tip..16 minutes...to long

    • @2MinuteTennis
      @2MinuteTennis  2 роки тому +7

      Not one tip. Many tips… I can count at least 8 tips that will allow players to improve their game. 1. Start back a little on your return and move in on your return 2. Serve hard to the body 3.After serving move slightly left for more forehands 4. Hit hard into open court for serve + 1 5. When struggling to get to a ball you can change to a continental and hit a squash shot 6. When your opponent is in trouble move in and attack taking time away from them 7. Hit volleys either short into open court or behind your opponent to wrong foot them 8. When attempting to run down an opponent’s angled volley move in at an angle to cut it off. That’s 2 minutes per tip. Thanks for watching!!!
