- One of the best parts about living in Central Oregon is that any day can become an adventure day.
On a random Tuesday in December, we were blessed with a 60 degree day, which meant work was put on hold and dirt bikes loaded up for a quick afternoon rip. And no, you won't see me doing any insane cliff jumps or wheelies. Instead, I give you the ridiculous entertainment of my riding dialogue and show you one of my favorite riding areas, Henderson Flats.
We haven’t met yet? Hi, my name is Grace, aka the graceful renegade. I am an Emmy Award winning videographer, world explorer, and author/storyteller, who also happens to love motorcycles and adventure. Welcome to a new season of my UA-cam channel, where we take a deep dive into what it’s like to be a filmmaker with an affinity for the wild of the great outdoors and taking every chance to get dirty on two wheels.
I am always protected by @AlpinestarsVideos

Hey Grace.... I used to have a Golden retriever kind of like yours......
They trust people a lot and they'll literally trust somebody to stop for them when they're out in the road.... So you have to be spot on with safety and not take any chances.... Always leash... When you think it's safer... Figure your babysitting a 3-year-old and you have to watch out for it every single second.......
Hey what did you do before you were a UA-camr... I worked as a machinist and I like to weld... Do bricklaying masonry and carpentry a little bit... My dad was a machinist and had 2 years engineering at University of Washington... And lived to be almost 98.... Was born in 1918..
I love it when people like you make videos because there's people that can't even get out of the house and walk and when you make a video they can pretend that they're right there with you.
You make me smile… you say it like it is…a sincere thank you…
Awesome 👏 ❤
that trail looks fun
I bet you would like Electric Unicycling - they do off roading.
Awsome footage, you don't need makeup. Just tossing that out there.... the baby's are cute for sure. Do you ever have issues uploading vids time wise? Some of these must be fairly large files
Great to see your channel Grace, Have been watching the podcast with Dork and yourself, thank you for your great content.
Very cool! It was a gorgeous December all over in Oregon, I am missing that right now as we are getting pounded with freezing rain!
You're so lucky to live in a place where winter means a decent mix of clear, cooler days. I live up in a suburb of Vancouver, Canada and the rain sucks during the winter months. It's unfortunately not worth the extra expense to insure my bike during the winter months as there are so few good days. I'm so tempted to insure it anyways as I'm missing riding right now so much. It's almost worse watching YT videos of people out having fun in the dirt!
I'm doing an @RIDEAdventures ADV training course in Bend this May, can't wait! Hopefully I'll see you out there, you're a sweetheart :-)
I have so much beautiful footage from riding but never have time to edit and compose, it seems so time consuming. Glad you share :)
I do my best!!
Use suspenders. Better breathing and a lot better support 😂
I do have suspenders on another pair!! This was just a hilarious fluke in the system
Love your art work
Thank you
Do you ever carry a mirrorless camera with you. My wife and I are talking about doing the TAT. I have a GoPro, and drone, but I favor my Sony for the stuff I want to print. Thoughts on how to carry it?
Yes I have a Sony I carry in armored luggage
Hahhaha all pants off
I love you❤❤❤❤
Well thank you!!
Your mic is picking up a lot of bike noise and not much of your voice. Looked like a beautiful ride though, the Oregon back country. Keep em coming!👍
Unfortunately yes, my mic was actually not connected to my Sena 🤷🏼♀️ mistake I realized after but figured we would throw the footage in anyway
@@thegracefulrenegade not sure what editor you use, but in Final Cut Pro, you can enable voice isolation and that really helps with external noise.
Life’s short, ride naked!!
😎
I would if I could
That would suck if you got roosted on a rocky trail.
Got to ask… did you turn the choke off😳
lol the choke was used appropriately
With out having social media is there some good ADV groups in central Oregon? Dork mentioned some but I refuse to have FB. Live in crook county and don’t have anyone to ride around with. Pretty new to this sport but I’m not a novice either. Any info would be helpful. Thanks you and for your content.
What other socials are you on?
@@thegracefulrenegade none. Watch a lot of UA-cam. Actually met you, Ben & Travis at GLR ( this year) only had my endorsement for a month at that point. But got a 300l rally and have been doing solo trips through the Ochoco’s all summer. I know social media is like having a cell phone these days but I help build data centers and that’s why I do t have any social media. One of those double edged swords. Just looking for people to ride with so my wife doesn’t have to worry so much until I can afford a Garmin inreach. Plus I don’t mind making new friends into this awesome community.
I don't know where your microphone is located, but I can hear your bike far more than I can hear you speaking.
