  • The graceful renegade returns for the second episode of ROADRUNNER!
We haven't met yet? Hi, my name is Grace, aka the graceful renegade. I am an Emmy Award winning videographer, world explorer, and author/storyteller, who also happens to love motorcycles and adventure. Welcome to a new season of my UA-cam channel, where we take a deep dive into what it's like to be a filmmaker with an affinity for the wild of the great outdoors and taking every chance to get dirty on two wheels.
The second episode of the season follows a combination of a day filming for a small documentary I am making about PLS here in Bend, OR as well as a quick lunchtime clean up with Public Land Stewards founders Kevin and Jeremy.
To sign up for a clean up or to learn more about Public Land Stewards, check out their website: plsbend.org/
Follow my day to day antics on Instagram: / thegracefulrenegade
Get out there and take care of your public lands. Documentary entitled "This Land is Our Land" to be released Spring 2024.
    Live wild. Ride free.

Great to see people doing this. It is truly ''giving back''! "THANK YOU" to you and everyone that packs out what they pack in and to all who don't dump illegally.

Thanks for making and sharing this. I used to ride that area with my uncle a long time ago. I appreciate how you approached and told this story.

That is the one thing that can just ANGER me so much and saddens me to see the amount of trash we have on our trails down here in Josephine and Jackson County. Great work to the fine folks who are cleaning up our lands every week. Great video Grace

I've never been to Bend, but I've heard great things. I also live in an arguably beautiful place (Co Springs, CO). I love to hike, bike, ride motos everywhere I can. And I have seen an alarmingly awful trend of people trashing our public land. I have as much empathy as anyone for people that have been forced to survive. I can understand wanting to, or needing to seek refuge in the woods. The thing I don't understand is why they have to trash the property. I've seen people living in RVs and such and the entire area around the things are just engulfed in waste. I want to organize a group like yours to clean up our forests. And I get enabling people to just continue shitty behavior, but the alternative to just see trash overtake these natural landscapes doesn't seem like a better solution.

I think we NEED a Winter MotoStream for You, Ben & all the Members of the Critter Crew.!
I realize you have Too Much on your Plate to be the Hostess, probably Ben too, eh.?
WHO would you Nominate from our on-line Group.? It could be a weekly or monthly LiveStream whereby we talk about the Members & their Adventures that we have in our PNW Dual-Sport & Adventure Community as well as Us up-here in Western Canada.

Cleaning up after government & NGO sponsored trash camping is just wack a mole .. We can all appreciate the effort but also realize that without a 180* shift in state government policy it’s futile.. I think a better use of any platform you feel you have should focus on spotlighting whom is really responsible for all those tents and sleeping bags and such, we know that in Multnomah county both the county and NGO workers are disrupting the tents and sleeping bags and in many cases are simply setting up camps in hopes homeless people will move into them. Disgusting politics.. I’d like to see you guys uncovering the people and agencies responsible for supporting this activity in the Bend/Redmond and LaPine communities and also putting a spotlight on the agencies that should be responsible for doing the cleanup work that private citizens are having to do.. Again this is failed governance more than anything else and if you’re voting for these policies then you too are part of the problem..

We are a non profit organization that is purely focused on saving public lands and retaining access to them. And while I appreciate your input my platform isn’t about pointing the blame at anyone - it’s about trying to do the right thing for our community. We do our best to advocate for public lands whenever we can but one of the best ways we can help is by doing the gritty hard work a lot of people would rather argue about versus fix on their own.
