For clarification, because you don't get a lot of time to explain things in shorts - you could argue that Ghost was atomized, and therefore his body was never recovered, leading to his MIA classification. Plenty of soldiers went MIA in the Human-Covenant War. But Ghost's actions exemplified the heroism of a Spartan. And the fact he wore armour that was initially planned to be worn by Spartans as well, I think lends some merit to his MIA labelling being a badge of honour and symbolically similar to how it was given to Spartans who had died.
One of the reasons he goes out to fight is that the suit has a staggered countdown for self-destruction. To reduce the risk of someone accidentally or intentionally triggering it. So after the self-destruction protocol is activated, he had to wait 5 minutes to trigger it. As Ghost himself says, "No sir, i am following my orders.", "The suit has a staggered countdown, and im not leaving here until all my men are safely off this planet. Ghost out."
I watched this years ago as a tween on halo waypoint, but I just now realize Ghost totally had that Armored Core 1 shoulder mounted grenade launcher! He even shoots it the same way, by grabbing the barrel, it’s such a cool animation
Best Halo Legends episode right here Wait actually while I’m here, in the episode there’s a vocal variant of Weight Of Failure, does anybody know what it’s named? I can’t find it in the Halo Legends OST, it’s just Machine & Might
Yeah it’s mostly just Prototype and Babysitter, maybe also Homecoming. I used to like Package as a kid but it doesn’t have the same sense of tragedy that the others do
The one short that really hit me, along with The Babysitter. Ghost was haunted by his Marine's dying words and even used them as the authorisation code to detonate the suit. :BE HUMAN: He felt that in his last moment, and it always got me.
I love how they make such a big deal out of him disobeying orders but having his court martial revoked in the legends video, but the bro was ground zero for a supernuke, i doubt he cares what his superiors charge the glass crater he used to be in with
It's to immortalize him as a hero not a traitor it's not really for him but for everyone "if you disobey orders for the greater good you're still a hero" or something like that
LoL, SGT Banks and Reynolds werent good enough to be included with the rest of these guys For ppl who dont know, Banks is a standard ODST you can get on delta halo, or a normal marine on Regret. He also appears on Cairo station, as well as right before the scarab fight in both Metropolis and The Great Journey. Reynolds is just a different sgt variant in halo 3. Hes one of the Sgts found in floodgate, i forget if hes the one on the ramp or inside the warehouse.
Not some, All Spartans III's were classified as MIA if they died not to mention they were top secret and most people did not even know they existed. Spartan III's were Expendable NOT Disposable, they still cost a lot of money to make and maintain are still valuable assets to the UNSC.
What no in first strike chief list several as M.I.A. Such as ODST Privet Locklear and there’s 3 he others I can never spell their names though. But he listed them all as M.I.A. as a sign of respect, unless that’s been reconed

Ayo you not slick with that Sgt Forge
Everyone's favourite astronaut, doctor, plumber, pizza delivery driver and space marine?
Yeah wtf
😂
Sgt Johnny Forge
@@LaperLardenreal
Fun fact: Sergeant Johnson wears the prototype in halo wars 2.
What really? I didn't know that I thought it was just a powerful exosuit
@@user-wg4gr6ou7h A next gen version of the armor, but yes
Disobeys? "No sir I am following my orders"
Well... He follows them in a roundabout sort of way 😂
He thought we wouldn’t see sgt forge ….we did
Hahaha fr
Prototype's story is still one of my favorite Halo side stories

Wow didn’t know sgt forge had so many careers before landing as a marine
Chips Dubbo will forever be my favourite marine
The sad thing is that the people he evacuates end up on the heart of midlothian which then is boarded by the covenant and self destructs
No way dude that’s heart breaking
Sgt Sins
I watched this years ago as a tween on halo waypoint, but I just now realize Ghost totally had that Armored Core 1 shoulder mounted grenade launcher! He even shoots it the same way, by grabbing the barrel, it’s such a cool animation
That aint SGT Forge, thats Sgt Sins
confrim self-destruct keyword: "i'm human"

"Be human"

they're all still terrible lore-wise
thanks Frankie 🙄
Me: Oh, ok.
Someone else: GHOOOOOOST! GHOST, DO YOU READ!? 😢
You didn't think we'd catch Sergeant sins- I mean forge.
We just gonna ignore him calling the LT a Sargent
Chips Dubbo would like a word with you.
Chips is technically only a private.

Episode broke me as a person
Tech he did do the self destruct, he was only using the count down timer for it to buy his soldiers time to escape.
There also classified as MIA becouse they have the odd tendency of randomly re appearing after "dieing"
Sgt forge, the greatest plumber, astronaut, pizza delivery man, teacher, and football coach in the entire UNSC
This the best one at all of them short movies
Aint no way they were going to court martial a LITERAL dead man

In the halo universe if you are an NCO the chances of you living are about 3/4ths better than the usual 1/16th
Sergeant forge looks like my wife’s doctor
I'd start taking her to a new doctor, my guy.
Spartans never die
POWER ARMOR

Most legendary marine? You should know it's heresy to give that title to anyone other than Chips Dubbo
Other ghost was a LT not SGT
Buck is mia?
Uh... I didn't know that Buck died
He's not dead. Just in the Hall of Fame for GOATed Halo Sergeants.
Wait, Halo has an anime? Why didn’t we get a whole series in that type of style instead of what Paramount gave us?
I've been asking myself that question constantly since 2020.
You really think your slick with that sgt forge, huh?
wait buck is considered MIA?
No, he's also a sergeant. The guy said legendary sergeants
"passcode needed"
"passcode needed"
"passcode needed"
Passcode: BE HUMAN
Wait how is buck mia?
That list isn't for dead sergeants, just for legendary ones.
Its just showing the cool sgts feom halo, Stacker isnt MIA/KIA either.
I HATE anime
