I had something like that, but I didn’t have legos or action figures as a kid, so I cut out paper and drew soldiers on them. I remember this battle like it was yesterday. (I was one of the many ODSTs that drowned in the ocean when attempting to drop into the covenant carrier)
I will never forget the horrors of war I recreated when I was young. Slowly drowning in trench rainwater, and bleeding to death after being nailed to the wall with a 6 foot long pole. happy memories.
Locked on by shoulder-launched SAMs, shot down and taken POW...Throats opened, limbs blown off, homies tagged from over 1000m away by high powered rifles... 😩
Everything that you thought had meaning: every hope, dream, or moment of happiness. None of it matters as you lie bleeding out on the battlefield. None of it changes what a speeding rock does to a body, we all die. But does that mean our lives are meaningless? Does that mean that there was no point in our being born? Would you say that of our slain comrades? What about their lives? Were they meaningless?... They were not! Their memory serves as an example to us all! The courageous fallen! The anguished fallen! Their lives have meaning because we the living refuse to forget them! And as we ride to certain death, we trust our successors to do the same for us! I'll never forget the Lego civil war. The brutal battles between the yellowheads and the skin colored minifigures turned brother against brother, soldier against soldier, Octan tanker driver against Jedi knight. The bloodshed was only stopped when the Mega Blox UNSC and Covenant signed a truce to eliminate the minifigures forever. But that's a story for another time.
My sandbox was a war of attrition. There was a tank push along the ruined sand castle by the enemy, and the confederacy of mega blocks legos clone figures and GI joe men held against repeated green, tan, and black army man assaults until the bionicles arrived. Piloted by elites. Bumblebee died destroying the portal, killed by a T-REX so strong it took an entire bomber fleet to collapse a hole on it and kill it. I dig in that sandbox that is now a flower garden as i grow older. I still find fallen army men or discarded and forgotten weapons of clones. Recently i dug up an old crumbled and rusted remnant of a batmobile tank and the batman figure inside. A noble loss in the battle of the sandcastle. I find these artifacts of simpler times and i smile. Not because of simple nostalgia. But because spartan Dan, blue batman, and all the others still live on in my heart. Veterans of a long lost war.
Even without the text at the top this is an amazing retelling of reach. The music lined up with the moments. When the unsc was winning the music was calm. Think of it as the calm before the storm. But then Every time the music got more grand as the covenant started winning. I just woke up, this is a great way to start my day. Thank you.
@@NotKameronyou did a amazing job. I just got hit with so much nostalgia of not only Reach, but how imaginative my battles were. It’s a shame I only recently got the Noble team set with all the team and the Falcon, I can only guess how well they would have been put to use in my younger days.
So many good memories of the UNSC against overwhelming Covenant odds, grand battles of clones/jedi vs droids, and factions of Bionicles warring with each other. Nostalgia is a hell of a drug. One of my favorites was when my mom let me stay home from school one day to have a 6 hour battle with ALL my Bionicles. I had wanted to finish a storyline I had told her about the day before and we had a busy weekend so I couldn't get time to do it. It made the world to me she let me stay home and I had an absolute blast.
My friend and me pooled our money for 5+ years and bought only halo mega blocks sets. He bought mostly covenant and I stood staunch as humanity’s defender. We had month long wars and huge engagements with the battlefield plates and his fire base set. I remember the wars and fun times we had, setting up story arcs and sad sacrifices. There was the time when we planted a nuke on a spartan and dropped him into the enemy hordes. The time when the small contingent of marines and police held off a numerically superior force for days. I remember those times with melancholy thoughts and happiness. Remember not to let yourself feel bad for all the times you missed and the good times you had, but for all the good times you will have.
I remember the battle of Basementi-Blok II, where the UNSC (assisted by the 212th and 501st) held back a covenant assault on the Batcave, before retreating in operation “Clean Up Time”

I had too many UNSC and too few Covenant, so I would make a terrain encampment with a blanket or the whole living room for my Covenant and have like 3 Spartans in a worthog and all of my ODSTs come in and raid it like some halo legends type of scenario. Everything always ended with the place blowing up as the protagonists escaped. It was really fun, and I still have almost all of my little guys.
i didnt have many mega bloks, but i had enough. I made a situation where a single flood infection form was let loose on an under attack covenant carrier and the elites and marines that were left had to team up, and eventually they had to murder their flood infected teamates.
Never had mega bloks, but my lego people were always in a state of war and fear due to dead men walking, aliens hiding and gods (my younger brothers) stealing them from me.
I remember I did a solo mission (just me playing with my mega bloks) and the mission was called “Operation: Final Strike” and it was basically the battle for earth before it got glassed. I was obviously in the UNSCs favor because they are cool and the covenant is not 😎. I had barely any aviation and land vehicles so I used Star Wars Lego vehicles to sub in for the missing vehicles. The battle ended with a brave marine crashing into the core of a covenant glassing ship right before Earth got glassed and that’s when the UNSC from other small colonies came in time and defended the Earth. Rest in Peace to private James Carter (the brave marine I named)

Had a war that lasted 12 years (I went to college). Abt 5 years in my sisters had gotten a solid amt of Lego friends and began to attack my supply depots that I had for my Lego milita and Star Wars (they were inferior to my halo sets). I made an Armada called Task Force One that stretched abt 20 yards. I sent my milita on a suicide halo wars gauntlet run into the heart of LEGO friend city while my Star Wars provided security and containment. My Halo Blocks shelled fortifications, acted as QRF, and built and defended bases and supply lines. When my milita and Star Wars units became combat ineffective, my Halo sets swooped in and started a genocide. It ended with a pelican dropping a 30 brick super bomb in the center of the city.
My brother and I would clear out the entire living room and have massive week long battles with over 2000 different toys we had (zombies, Legos, mega blocks, army men, civil war, cowboys and Indians, cops, firefighters, dinosaurs, tonka bulldozers and dump trucks, robots) we had some huge battles and a huge barbed wire fence going around the living room
My spartan 2 lost an arm in battle back in the day, the medics tried everything they could , i ripped the arm off and exchanged it with one from a broken elite.
I didnt have regular legos or mega as a kid but i did have bionicles and i would always try to recreate the battles in the commercial and follow them up with my own battles afterwards to continue the story in my mind because at the time i had no idea about bionicle lore now i could tell you about it from beginning to shakey ending.
I remember doing shit like this. I had a 3 month campaign on the planet “Frostenia”. It was hell for both the UNSC and Covenant Forces. Looking back on it, I’d consider it a Pyrrhic Victory for the UNSC. They lost around 400,000 marines, and like 200 Spartans during their offensive. They did retake the planet, but the Covenant returned later on in the Human-Covenant War and drove the UNSC out. (My know-it-all friend said that would never happen and bullied me into changing the lore.)
Every day after school the covenant would send troops, and the UNSC would fight with all they had, but in the end it always was a fight against time. Everytime we moved in the weeks leading up to it it would be an Evac operation I miss those days
I remember playing town with my sister with a bunch of random toys and nicknacks. I vividly remember a green dino light that made an screechy roar when you turned the light on that we made the villain of that story
My lego star war clone troopers holding out until the bitter end because the long range radio station was cut off and droid transport constantly landing and being blown out the sky while the ground forces taking plasma to the face and the clones being picked off on by one armor being blown to pieces and star fighters dropping out the sky for 5 days till the last clone blows up the base with all the explosives he can muster waiting for the droid army to be right on top of him going out in a mushroom cloud.
The Summer of 2019: it would be a in and out mission, it would be easy they said... 1.5 million dead, transformer, bionicle, and minifig alike. It started with infinite power and ended with the death of a god.
Bro when I first got into halo, me, my brother, and my two friends that got me into halo would get all our halo megablocks, and build a bunch of vehicles out of legos, and have MASSIVE battles in their garage.
Our old house had a finished third floor (really just an attic) but it basically all for me to play in, plus my dad’s workout gear lol. That whole place turned into a giant battleground for action figures and legos
Lego wars went so damn hard as a kid. I have a whole fleet of tanks from both Allies and Axis… the look on my buddy’s face when he bought his halo soldiers and army men over only to be met with a Landkreuzer Ratte will live in my head until I die
Reach Orbit Month 14 humanity didn’t stand a chance on Reach. The surface was ours, but the Covenant own nearly all ways off, our forces are Master Chief, Han Solo, a few dozen Clone Troopers and a Jedi. Best bet’s a Pelican to the Millennium Falcon, but not everyone’s making it. We know it’s the end of the line but the best play.
Mega bloks and lego armies under the command of lighting mcqueen foug bravely to secure the wall of capadocia against the bionicle-transformer aliance 😢
Ive actually taken the storys i made as a kid and are recycling them for some personal books im writing. From the countless battles, my little plastic warriors jump from their confines to the pages as living breathing characters. This video has actually reminded me to get back to that. Thanks dude. They might not be spartans and marines anymore but they fight for humanity all the same.
My characters would me thousands of years of war heros, I’d jump back to modern, to halo, to star wars, all the same line of war heros, and my cousin would be the same but from a different family. Massive massive wars with all the legos and mega blocks we could get.
I don’t know what happened to any of my figurines and I feel ashamed that I don’t. However I like to think that somewhere among the Earth, their plastic armor resides in the soil and grass just as the epilogue of Reach described. Their bodies, and armor, all burned and turned to glass.
My Lego/ mega blocks lore was full of betrayal and infection. I witnessed the fall of factions and the growth of new ones all at a whim of my child imagination. I created a universe that could rival marvel in its entirety with the depth of bonds and trusts I had built for the characters, those bonds stay implanted in my mind and I shall continue what I started. I will continue my universe.
I genuinely do not understand how this blew up so much. Almost 3000 likes at the time of this comment being posted this is just insane man

I'M READY! HOW 'BOUT YOU
You're on your own Noble...
Carter Out...
Where does he get off calling a demolition op priority one-
Miss those days
LMAO literally what I tried to convey with this (abandoned) channel. Good memories man.
May our childhood never be forgotten c':
my family saw a one by two lego piece and a one by four, I saw a patrol boat and an alien destroyer.
i rember when my little bro and i would fight our legos and mega bloks together
I’ve had a rebel faction living in a desolate city attempting to survive a zombie apocalypse in my Lego Empire
All of my Lego mini figures have lived or died in a tragedy worse than an human could imagine
I have a lego lore that's 14 years in the making
There was this one time mine fought off an army of zombie stomtroopers that appeared from an unknown crashed ship
Some times i think of my room as flood barracks’s and call my self general gravy
I didnt have regular legos or mega as a kid but i did have bionicles and i would always try to recreate the battles in the commercial and follow them up with my own battles afterwards to continue the story in my mind because at the time i had no idea about bionicle lore now i could tell you about it from beginning to shakey ending.
"One final effort is all that remains."
Everytime we moved in the weeks leading up to it it would be an Evac operation
I miss those days
I remember playing town with my sister with a bunch of random toys and nicknacks. I vividly remember a green dino light that made an screechy roar when you turned the light on that we made the villain of that story
My entire lore for my legos was a world spanning war that was fought by two entire generations and a half that left billions dead on both sides, lol
My lego star war clone troopers holding out until the bitter end because the long range radio station was cut off and droid transport constantly landing and being blown out the sky while the ground forces taking plasma to the face and the clones being picked off on by one armor being blown to pieces and star fighters dropping out the sky for 5 days till the last clone blows up the base with all the explosives he can muster waiting for the droid army to be right on top of him going out in a mushroom cloud.
little do you know, the barbies are holding a castle as a last stand fortification against the covenant
The Summer of 2019: it would be a in and out mission, it would be easy they said...
1.5 million dead, transformer, bionicle, and minifig alike. It started with infinite power and ended with the death of a god.
I'm late but who cares.
3 years later, 2 planets won. 1 planet destroyed. The war wages on. The resistance still stands.
Bro when I first got into halo, me, my brother, and my two friends that got me into halo would get all our halo megablocks, and build a bunch of vehicles out of legos, and have MASSIVE battles in their garage.
3:00 Amazing timing.
Our old house had a finished third floor (really just an attic) but it basically all for me to play in, plus my dad’s workout gear lol. That whole place turned into a giant battleground for action figures and legos
The USS Beast being blown up by Shidfard-42B for the 17th time in one Sunday:
Lego wars went so damn hard as a kid. I have a whole fleet of tanks from both Allies and Axis… the look on my buddy’s face when he bought his halo soldiers and army men over only to be met with a Landkreuzer Ratte will live in my head until I die
Mate… mega blocks master chief absolutely demolished Lego bobba fett.
I had a custom lego Batman ship that was shaped like a unsc pelican, ohhh man the stories I had with that thing
I still have all of mine, I will never get rid of em lmao.
Reach Orbit
Month 14
humanity didn’t stand a chance on Reach.
Guys, we lost so many good men in just one Tuesday afternoon. The exact body count is uncertain bc We had to wash up for dinner.
Mega bloks and lego armies under the command of lighting mcqueen foug bravely to secure the wall of capadocia against the bionicle-transformer aliance 😢
The ending was crazy guys
(my lil cousin destroyed everything) literary stop playing with my legos after that
Ive actually taken the storys i made as a kid and are recycling them for some personal books im writing. From the countless battles, my little plastic warriors jump from their confines to the pages as living breathing characters. This video has actually reminded me to get back to that. Thanks dude. They might not be spartans and marines anymore but they fight for humanity all the same.
Mega bloks-Lego war
Man, I just remembered the amazing wars me and my little brother used to do with our legos. It felt like we created a greater universe than the MCU.
Masterpiece of a video, boutta relive the horrors or war I recreated as a kid
(legos and mega blocks)
