@@daviddmotion there’s uv transform node which acts like a cell noise in this tutorial but better, distortion is more controllable the result is better, plus u can mix it with texture bombing which makes it even better
Try it on a simple cube with uv texture and see how it works. With triplanar you don’t need to think about uvs etc. Also if you are using RS 3.0 and above there are so many better options now
Let's take a plane for example. Cell noise divides it on squares, and rotates texture inside each cell based on different black and white values. Then different noise brakes edges of the cell noise. It's like distorting UV squares without messing with UVs)
wildly helpful, thank you!
With new redshift 3.5 this technique is kinda outdated
@@HanhaloArt but it works so well! 😂
So extremely helpful! Thank you!
There’s now a better way to do it with osl in rs
@@HanhaloArt how so?

still good, thanks
thank you! nice tut
Thanks, now with RS supporting OSL you can simply use UV transform or texture no tile osl script
@@HanhaloArt спасибо!
thanks !
Amazing, thanks!)
thank u ♥
Nice

👌
so i dont need a triplaner and can just plug it into the rotation of the textures?

This is great technique, thank you! But can you explain HOW it actually does it? I have to be honest, don't understand.

Please make your next tutorial without music.
No 😇
Music... bad...
jesus, this music is so annoying...
😁 will fix that in future videos
