    I must say from front to back it has Z06 old and new parts on everything. People just need to get ready for Z06 to break track records.

      "Kid" lol, I'm 41. I love American cars, I used to have a 72 Impala, I once test drove a Saleen Mustang, now that thing stuck to the road like glue, but I couldn't get over the stupid interior. I then drove the Z28 came to a motorway slip road and the thing was wailing around like a bus, not hate, fact.

    Everything they've done is awesome IMO. But why do they insist on making it almost 4000lbs? It looks like they've taken care of everything else but the weight. Yea 500hp is great but at that weight it's not as much as you think.

    First there is a vid about the aero pack, now a undercarriage of the Z/28, & yet there no VIDs of the 4 most technological advances in the automotive industry on the P1, LaFerrari, 918, & One:1 but a z/28 has 2 vids already, hmmmmmm

    • @dannyarriaga1

      That's because this car is within reach to most working people...the cars you mentioned....lucky if you can even see one in person

    • @mak450
      @mak450 10 років тому

      What the hell are you on about? GM provided them with the car for a long enough time to actually let them produce these videos, obviously. Has anyone even published a review of the 918 that wasn't in Europe, besides Jay Leno? What about the P1? And the LaFerrari and One:1 aren't even out yet.
      "hmmmmmm" my ass...

      It's never OK in my opinion to be a sports car and weigh almost 4000 lbs. Sorry but my 1992 Mustang with ~420 feels twice as fast as these cars do. It's depressing to me that you need 650hp to feel fast with these cars now when power like that should be throwing you into the rear seats

    Oh, look, its pre-crashed so that the underside is readily accessible. GM is finally getting in touch with its market.
    Now, all they need to do is figure out how to convince their consumers to put their key-chains on a diet without offending their sense of individualism.
    It makes me sad that a modern 'sports' car needs 305 width tires in order to handle.

    • @Dgannt
      @Dgannt 10 років тому

      I guess you need that kind of crazy wide tires to make a muscle car a bit sporty and track focused. Without that kind of wide front tires if would understeer. 7L engine and 305 all around. I understand the apple of this kind of car for some people. But there will be many cars with much smaller engines and tires that will be faster around a track.

    Doesn't this guy Mark own a '69 Pro Touring Camaro called the "Red Devil"? If he spends his off time building, driving, and racing the old metal, kind of tells you where you really ought to put your money, no?

    • @fleetfeet2004
      @fleetfeet2004 10 років тому

      unless you want carbon ceramic brembo brakes, f1 inspried suspension with perfect geometry and dampening. Fully independent front and rear suspenision with sophisticated driver assist sensors for each wheel, a track tuned rear diff, oil coolers for the engine, tranny and rear end. A second radiator. modern efi. Yeah man. Unless you live in Ca I don't see a reason to buy the old car. I'm sure they would cost the same if all the same stuff is done to them.

    • @Buttnut105
      @Buttnut105 10 років тому

      Robbie Wilson I've seen his car compared with a ZL1 on a road course and his '69 was actually faster. So what's that you were saying about "F1 inspired suspension"?

    • @doverlabs
      @doverlabs 10 років тому

      Alec D. This isn't a ZL1...this is a Z-28???
      Air bags, air conditioning, three point belts, reverse lights, noise restrictions, emissions? Did you just compare a full on race car to a road legal car?

    • @Buttnut105
      @Buttnut105 10 років тому

      pcfxer Pretty sure his car is street legal. I'm not sure how many he owns or how many he's built, but the one I saw was street legal. Unless you're going to be driving it everyday or you don't live in an arid climate where you could daily drive it, a proper first gen pro touring car would be way more special than a Z/28 or ZL1.

    Manly exhaust? guess he just alienated all the female drivers who would be buying it. On another note, I am suprised there isn't any heat shielding around the diff. The manly exhaust pipes are right under it.
