    My first assassin was the tempest 2. Just got an infinity 7ft ultra light and I haven't had a chance to use it yet but just holding it you can feel the quality. Also picked up an Amia Zero 4 piece xh 11ft

      Hey bud.
      Yeah, I’ve got a tempest, amia, sierra as well… all amazing rods.
      But I’ve fallen in love with Infinity, so may have to add that one🤣

      Yes the rapid development of products never seems to end, but Assassin is doing a great job and they are keen anglers too.

    I've always thought a driving range type area would benefit any angling shop. Buyers can then test before buying. Most people buy on looks or what his buddy is catching with. Nice video. Assasin fan for rock and surf. But haven't tried the bass rod's yet

    Lekker content fellas as usual... But when I see a bionic finger on any rod I tend to lose focus... Are any of the major brands bringing out any casting rods

    • @donczns
      @donczns Місяць тому +1

      Sadly very little development in casting rods, if you can find them the Daiwa Saltist casting rods are superb. Some of the Assasin Beachmaster Zero are in casting. Ironically a multiplier casts damn well on a spinning rod, My brother uses his Shimano TLD15/30 on my 14,6ft Bluefish with no issues, so the other route to go is find a rod you enjoy the weight and action of, if you want to convert it, simply remove the bionic finger and fit a smaller first guide...

      @untraceablefishing looking at purchasing a rod from Bilimoria. looking at the equinox 15ft and precision 15ft both 6-8oz. Which would you guys say is the better rod?

    • @donczns
      @donczns 22 дні тому

      @@jayenpillay2814 Tight call, equinox is a smidgen lighter and easier casting, precision has better components and more pulling power but far less forgiving casting wise, if you load a rod very well with good timing great, but the assassin is easier to load and cast.

      HMG Carbon and lighter blanks definetly require more care on the rocks, making sure joints are in properly and theres no line wrap, but they cast so well, love my Asassins... all brands can break, I only ever snapped 2 rods in my life, an old bluemarlin years ago when I hit the rocks hard and my little passionstick, which fell as i closed the garage door...miss that rod
