    • @2fast2block

Neil is full of ignorance. He loves to ignore science.
Neil deDumba$$ Tyson asked about the start of the universe and if he believes in God:
Larry King, "Who started all this; do you believe in God?"
Neil, "The proper question should be who or what started it, but I don't know. If I don't know I'm going to say I don't know."
from the beginning of this video: ua-cam.com/video/v-qU4F0lNfU/v-deo.html
What we KNOW and have NO doubts about...
Real science says nothing does nothing. Real science says if there was something there already it must fit with the evidence of what we know. We know the 1LT says there's a conservation of energy. It can change forms and neither can be created or destroyed. Creation cannot happen by natural means. The 2LT has various aspects, one being the universe is winding down, entropy. Usable energy is becoming less usable, so at one point usable energy was at its max. This all points to a supernatural creation, by a supernatural creator at a certain point in which matter, space and time were created. When I read how it can happen otherwise, ALL the fools resort to science-fiction. Once a supernatural creation is accepted, then the next step is finding proof of what supernatural power did it.
Neil does not know BASIC science. Not only can't we have creation without God, Neil does not know that we also can't have science without God. The laws of nature can only come from a Lawgiver, God.
Tyson says his dung at about 2:00 in the video below about the eye evolution. It is proven false in the rest of the video. But to shallow people, to hell with details and what the evidence shows. Your agenda is all that matters.

What matters to me in a podcast isn't that a person is able to go toe-to-toe with their guest in whatever the subject of conversation it is that they've been invited on to discuss. What matters is just having the sincere interest to learn anything at all, and it was clear from the very beginning that you were genuinely interested in Neil's work as an astrophysicist.

Agreed. Neil doesn't tolerate being labeled an athiest. He is open, to not the possiblity of the existence of God. But he is open to the PROOF of God's existence. He has admitted that if ever he finally becomes convinced, by solid evidence that God, as the highest intelligent being responsible for the creation of the universe and life, actually exists, if he has to die in order to meet him, THAT would be the ultimate privilege. To have an audience with the Creator and hopefully get all his questions answered. You could sense the depth of his excitement in contemplating such a thing. But he is deservedly cautious. Because he does not want an army of theologians lifting him up as their champion of religious truth. It is many of those same theologians that has not satisfied his search for God.

I revealed Tyson's viewpoint, not mine. Your wasting your energy trying to impress me. Take that argument to Neil. When Neil said what he said he wasn't trying to force his views on anyone. He was asked a question about HIS viewpoint. HE said he wasn't an athiest. You say he is. You want to force him into becoming something he declares he isn't go ahead. And yes I said "afraid". Because you obviously were uncomfortable enough to hear what Tyson said that you got triggered by it. You don't believe in a divine Creator? No problem. But if you were truly comfortable enough about your belief system, no alternative viewpoint should make you cuss and swear and freak out or panic and reduce to calling other people cheap insults. Or is your belief system so fragile that an alternative proposal could make it crack and split apart right underneath you?

This all points to a supernatural creation, by a supernatural creator at a certain point in which matter, space and time were created. When I read how it can happen otherwise, ALL the fools resort to science-fiction. Once a supernatural creation is accepted, then the next step is finding proof of what supernatural power did it.
Neil does not know BASIC science. Not only can't we have creation without God, Neil does not know that we also can't have science without God. The laws of nature can only come from a Lawgiver, God.

Among lions in Africa, are small stones that go unnoticed. Stones are found by drinking water and in the shade of trees. If you were standing in the shade and you cupped your hands around your eyes to see into the distance, the heat might ripple and ruin your view of the horizon. Yes, the damn heat is annoying man! Katanga lions in Africa were over hunted and so are engaged, but their numbers are slowly growing so good things to come in the next ten years or so.

Over hunted is a strange term for some people. Over hunted implies there is an acceptable level of hunting and not everyone agrees that there is.

Neil deDumba$$ Tyson asked about the start of the universe and if he believes in God:
Larry King, "Who started all this; do you believe in God?"
Neil, "The proper question should be who or what started it, but I don't know. If I don't know I'm going to say I don't know."

Your discussion with him is an excellent and lovely to listen and even sometimes makes you laugh. I hope you come back with a different topic whatever you feel needs to be discussed for pure knowledge and information on the Univers.

For someone who couldn’t get a single win in her whole NASCAR career while running a Stewart-Haas car which is one of the best teams in nascar, her teammates consistently finished high, while she was wayyyy in the back of the field consistently landing in 27th place next to drivers in gear half as good as hers, she. Very much was a flop in NASCAR

Neil quotes the Bible in 1 Kings as giving the value of Pi as 3.0. The basin was 30 cubits around and 10 cubits across. What he forgot to take into account was the width of the rim of the basin which is given as one hand breadth. This is approx 4 inches. So the diameter of the basin is 10 cubits from outer edge to outer edge. The basin would have been casted over a mold that was specified to be 30 cubits around.
So the circumference of 30 cubits refers to the inner rim of the basin. The diameter of the basin as measured from the inner rim is therefore 10 cubits minus 8 inches. 1 cubit = 18 inches.
    Therefore the inner diameter = 10 x 18 - 8 = 172 inches, and the inner circumference = 30 x 18 = 540 inches.
    So the valuation of Pi is 540 / 172 = 3.1395 or rounded off = 3.14.
    Also:
The value of Pi is encoded in the Genesis 1:1 correct to 5 digits (3.1415):
see: The Evaluation of Pi from within Genesis 1: - Whatabeginning
    And:
The value of 'e' is encoded in John 1:1 correct to 5 digits (2.7183) by the same equation:
see: Whatabeginning - Aspects of a Miracle- The evaluation of 'e' from within John 1:1
    - then go to section 2.3.2
