A lot of studios call shows season 2 when in reality it’s just a super delayed 2nd cour
2021 to 2023 was all about one season split into 2 cours because of delays, and on the web they're STILL called as Season 1 and 2 whereas just one season of 24-25 episodes... people never gonna understand that.
That's not a studio choice, it's a committee choice.
Zom 100 first half was pretty solid but after the delays, shit hit the fan 💀
The reason I swear by 2 cour seasons is it tends to have better pacing for the anime adaption overall.
Like The Apothecary Diaries is a 24 episode season that only adapted 2 volumes of the light novel, that is a miracle.
The new Oshi No Ko season 2 PV was sick!
Although it's another one that probably has a lot of shit happening behind the scenes, specially since generally the same team has to make Roshidere in the same season as well.
I love kanna hirayama, anything she touches is so beautiful. I need to know who made that transformation cut lol and if it will be in the show
Bro really are you going to watch albama
5:00 Netflix really put the hype around Stone Ocean to a grinding halt when they had batches for everyone to binge instead of releasing it weekly. Hope Steel Ball Run won't suffer from this same peoblem as well.
It will, prepare yourself to see Steel Ball Run in 2 years with four cour.
I was so hyped about Wonder Egg. Even today I'm telling myself it's fantastic, but the behind the scenes and the ending was ugh 😭
Man that show was THE SHIT. It and Heavenly Delusion is the only 2 shows of recent memory I already have great nostalgia for watching on a weekly basis despite how new they are
off topic, i have no idea why even tho the story was meh the animation style and vibe of the anime stuck HARD with me
i cant explain the vibe well but its similar to boochi the rock, a high school girl not physically developed just venturing the world with no people around. something like popopoka's famous blind girl.
@@anapple6912 what bro 😭 did we even watch the same show
It started so great but by the end they dropped the ball so hard.
Considering the Amount of anime being produced, 24 ep anime will reduce even more😢
vinland saga is going to save us
Some anime like Yowamushi Pedal still making 24-25 episodes per season till this day
While this doesn't diminish your point at all, I really felt how much you said the word "much". Some of the time, it was warranted, but other times, you should've used the word many. You use many when the object is countable (eg. bricks) while much is for uncountable objects (like water; you can't have one water). So as a practical example, some anime have too many episodes, while the studios don't have much time.
I remember watching anime like Hajime no Ippo is 70+ episodes. However, it was late/done already when it reached my country.
6:52 no way TOARU
86 season 2 when 😭😭
When Nier ends
🙏
Ong bro 😭🙏
Fr, it's in my top 3 best animes of all time
Two Season anime of 24 episodes are rare now, its mostly divided in 4 cour which make up two season. The biggest dumpster fire was Attack on Titan and it also lose its hype because of it. Most production companies do this to keep the hype going on but its usually 'milking till dry' tactic, right now look at kimetsu no yaiba S4 which is just stretching the training arc.
TBF, we have some 24+ animes, like Frieren and Dungeon Meshi. To me, I like they split seasons up into 12. ~~PLus let's face it, its primarily a way to get you to read the source~~
SUMMERTIME RENDERING MENTIONED🗣🗣🗣RAAAAAHHHHHHH🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯
Summertime got that Disney+ jail time sentence
It’s like THE example of a great show that was ruined by Disney jail
Amazing show with great story and pacing. easily one of my favorites of all time. but it didn't get that popular due to publishing. what a shame
4:20 no way an anime has illustrations and drawings??!!?!
You get what i mean
One thing I despise about anime now, I'd rather wait than be teased by part 1 and 2 seasons. Movie's are the absolute worst, we have to wait months if the anime isn't insanely popular
Human soul can withstand only so much soulgrinding MAPPA'ing?
*WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT !!!*
U LISTEN TO OSHAKASHAMA!!!! WOW 1:19
Wonder Egg Priority still hurts
Out of discussion BUT why cant we say David 19s actual name?(why does utube demonotize)
The UA-cam automation system.
Apparently you can use it now so since 2ish years.
just for safety measures. idk if you still get demonetize by saying the word and for your question IDK.
Jjk s2, dungeon meshi, Frieren had 24 episodes in the last year so I'm hopeful again.
frieren was 28 pretty sure
frieren was 28 over here because they split the 1 hour 30 min first episode into 4. and JJK season 2 had a split cour and went on a month break between the two arcs. people just act like it wasn’t split cour as it wasn’t an even.
Jjk s2 had a split core between hidden inventory and shibuya.
3 weeks basically they had 21 days with making the storyboard and doing all the sakuga animations for 17 freaking episodes, that's impressive asf.
the split core jjk s2 was undeniably inevitable, since they had literally no time.
The season finished in 6 months if im right.
6 months for them to make the show the zero, Uta ridiculous the fact most anime shows take months and months for a sakuga sequence for just 3 or 30 secs.
@@faikromid1970 you clearly don’t understand how anime production works if you think they did all the animation for sakuga and the storyboards in those three weeks lmao.
1. it was a 4 week break. not 3. basically a month. which is common for a split cour.
2. they started production on season 2 in october of 2022 at the same time chainsaw man was airing. and went into full production in december after episode 9 of chainsaw man released. they had a full 8 months then for the start of shibuya, not just 4 weeks in a break.
Apothecary Diaries, Vinland Saga and Rurouni Kenshin too
I SAW STEEL BALL RUN RAHHHH
I love 2 cour anime’s thoooo :(
counter-point: the 26 episode anime, and dare I mention the 27 episode anime
Where's my Drifters s2
The anime is pretty close to the manga chapter release.
The manga has been pretty slow.
What are the shows at 3:51 to 4:00?
1. Demon King
2. Bleach TYBW Part 2
3. Concrete Revolution
They time to Cook with them parts

Jujutsu kaisen season 3 will enter the chat 🗿🗿🗿🗿
There will always be exceptions.
@@AnimeNerd500we are the exception
JJK season 2 was literally split into two cours…
@@cwega2463 but it was two continuous cours
@@FAXEDITzs179 nope. there was a month break. an average amount of time for a split cour. not as bad as some other shows being a 3 month break; but it wasn’t without a significant break. episode 5 was august 3rd. episode 6 was august 31st.
I think one big problem with 2 cour anime is when they *_change the opening and ending songs_*
Like at least keep one the same like Bad example - Undead Unluck - changes the whole vibe and philosophical finding a way to die in this never ending world and life to a fun but just random scenes and characters like generic opening (first song was AWESOME)
Good example - Frieren
Kept the ending song and changed visuals and op so you leave with the same vibe
Another okay example - To your eternity
Kept the same opening song because otherwise it's just a different anime it fell off but that kept the interest and vibe intact
Counter examples are shows that keep the vibe same/improve it with different songs that are equally good - Blue Lock, Apothecary Diaries etc
Attack on Titan and Kaguya Sama have the advantage of changing the songs but keeping the Artists (Masayaki Suzuki, Linked Horizon and SiM)
And sort of JJK with King Gnu (used in 0 and S2) - but again the whole Shibuya arc had one opening which is almost 1 and a half cours
Exactly what I mean, keep the opening for the same vibe not for the same season
Man , undead unluck started strong and it had some potential but it got really boring in the second part. is the manga the same or is it the directing ?
@@breadninjaplays3836 I dont know about the manga but the part after they come out of the book was really good. I heard its not boosting manga sales so itll not get a 2nd season. Probably better to read tha manga then.
@@vizdrom actually I just heard that the 2nd season got announced and it's in the making. not sure if it's true
yeah it was still good and I enjoyed it but feel like something about it could be done better you know? and that one manga making episode kinda ruined the pacing for me , I feel like it that only really could work for the actual manga
Fate please
Soon
Ok
go watch Apothecary Diaries nerd it real good
i already did nerd
this modern studio issues (not only animation studious look at fkcin marvel ffs) really shows that companies only care about the product but it gets to a point DO they actually give a fuck if they dont give their staff and employees any time to do anything that result in some episodes being a mess while others being the best youll ever see
its sad truly !, but unless the higher ups themselves change their way theres nothing a normal viewer can do (yes they can talk about it but people will STILL watch and consume the product unfortunantely)
also studio Pierrot seems to be doing better than it used to mate atleast they will have WAY more consistency for their shows (even if not 100% on time ITS STILL BETTER , boruto ,bleach, any of their works)
also that one dumbass in the comments calling black clover garbage truly has NO taste jus saying and shows that they dont understand the staff's issues and their problems with the production (average anime fan :/ )
bleach is still suffering cause of peirrots scheduling cour 2 for example unfortunately, like half the staff wasn’t on the production and they had only 6 months of time to work on it
It's so sad now don't matter how popular a manga, only run for 12 episode per year. Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia and Jujutsu Kaisen for example, while garbage like bad clover can run for 170 episode with a lot of filler. And pierrot now cancel Bleach again for making bad clover fillers. There many series looks interesting like Mashle or Kaiju n8, but with only 12 episodes, is the best wait for years when a big amount of the manga is adapted, but if it failed because that it never get adapted fully.
Black Clover slander is not accepted
black clover is goated

The Bleach TYBW cours were never scheduled to come out in a specific timeframe, so the jab against it was very much disingenuous.
Its nothing new if youre a shoujo fan, they always get the short end of the stick with unfinished animes.
