This man, named Shawn Glenn, was shocked after learning that his unexpected kidney donor was his 13-year-old daughter.
After experiencing kidney failure and struggling with his health since 2019, this man had rejected kidney donations from his friends several times as he could still wait for a non-living donor.
But in January 2024, his young daughter named Symaria had a headache after playing volleyball at school.
When she got home, her condition became really bad, and she passed out.
In a heartbreaking moment, the doctor asked her mom to donate her organs so that other people's lives could be saved.
Despite her frustration, Symaria's mother agreed, believing it would fulfill her daughter's last wish to help others.
Symaria was then taken on the honor walk before the operation.
However, when she passed away, her gift unexpectedly saved 5 people, and one of them was her father.
Symaria was a kind-hearted girl who always helped others. Even a few days before she passed away, she helped her friend report a school bully to the school. May her soul rest in peace. ️
