My Mom donated her kidney to me in 2013. We celebrate the anniversary every year. I always tell her she gave me life twice.
This got me tearing up...😢😢
😢😢
It’s got to feel good that your mom loves you that much. You must of been a great daughter to her. Hope that kidney last you a very long time!
That’s love babes, cherish it
I’m so happy you have each other. Bless you and praying for your continued healing and happiness.❤
She gives new meaning to "Dady's girl!" What a selfless and wonderful thing to do.
Daddy
Very loving. However, I’d rather die than have my daughter living with 1 kidney, especially if it was genetic.
@@heavysighsI would assume that's very likely part of why she did it secretly. He mentioned how upset he is in his interview on this video.
@@heavysighs
When she was tested prior to surgery it would have showed up that she had the same auto immune disease that destroyed his kidneys and the surgery wouldn't have happened.
My Father gave his twin a kidney and saved his life, it was the first successful kidney transplant in the country. Howard and Harold Rosecrans, the Rosecrans twins. They were featured in Time magazine on the 25 year anniversary. My Uncle Harold passed at 59, my Dad at 63.
History making and ground breaking, what an interesting story, I'm sorry they are no longer with us, still way to young to go.
@@_Y.Not_ Not necessary to write that. It served no purpose other than to add to grief.
My sister gave me a kidney 22 years ago. They are Angels!
A Dad who would never ask his daughter for her kidney is so worthy of a daughter gifting him one with unconditional love 🫶🏻❤
well said
Pretty sure the father feels like shit. He doesn't have enough years and now he knows she has to live with one kidney that must hurt just thinking about it.
@@gwadamit8116 Living a healthy life, with 1 kidney is not impossible & is a small price to pay to ensure your own father is around longer.
To see his daughter get married, have her first child, actually know his future grandchild.
Her future children getting to meet their grandfather and not just hear about him.
If more people were so selfless, this world would be a far better place.
@@allinaflutter6117 but as a father it still feels like shit. Life is not predictable. Accidents and illness always don't come announcing. If something were to happen the survival rate would be close to 0. If you didn't know you can't just replace any organ with someone else's. You are given drugs to prevent organ rejection cause your body treats it as foreign particle and tries to eject it. Thinking practical beats thinking with emotions. You can't make life decisions cause you feel a certain way, there are problems to deal with, what's the point of having your father alive for your children if you yourself wind up dead cause of kidney failure? The medical world isn't as straightforward and rosy as you think you're just young and inexperienced try taking care of someone with multiple complications and you will see how incompetent the hospitals and doctors are to the point which makes you wonder if their degrees are legit.
She basically gave him ten years of her life. I’d be pissed just like him, but also grateful just like him. This is a tough one.
Especially if made poor decisions that led to needing this.
Most studies have shown that donating a kidney does not decrease life expectancy at all. However, it’s still risky if you happen to develop kidney disease in your one and only kidney. Agreed though, would be difficult to react to this.
@@brandonfoster5776 two is better than one, and if she is genetically related to him that makes everything worse. If he had any kidney issues and lost both of it then it's highly likely that she will inherit it as well.
The problem for the donor, she can not have a child of her own now. It would be to dangerous for her to have a child after donating her kidney.
@@nicolep2151 What?! Really???? That's crazy. Omg. But still an amazing gesture that was her choice. I'd be so mad if I were him!
This only happens when parents are wonderful parents who treat, respect, educated, love protect, love their children ❤ thanks to daughter for that love towards her father……😊
Dad and daughter have a very special connection
Dad takes care of the kid, the kid takes care of Dad......family.
As a kidney patient waiting on a list for a while now this is more than heartwarming. Best of luck to both of you in the future.
May the grace of God be with you, more healing upon you.
I pray🙏❤️✝️ you receive the kidney that you need may God bless you and keep you and your family healthy prayers away 💗🇨🇦🙏

Hang in there, I was on the list for 2 and a half years before I got a match. Sending love and light to you and I hope you get a match soon!
I would totally give my dad my kidney if I could, except I was only born with one. I totally feel her love for her dad.❤️
She’s an angel. Many blessings her way and May her dad live a long life to see his daughters kids.
Empathy like this is what we need more of in this world over greed. So beautiful
“You gave me life, I gave you life. We are even.”
That it so beautiful. They will share a special bond for life. God bless them for life
Raised a great daughter. I'm sure he feels sad and blessed and overwhelmed.
Thats awesome. I wish I was able to give my dad a kidney before he passed. ❤
❤❤beautiful giving daughter! Love father ad daughter 4 ever connected ❤️
God Bless You Both
God bless them both and keep them healthy and safe.❤
This the standard reversal...The Dad stepped up and took care of the girl as she grew up,,,now the grown up girl steps up to take care of the dad....This is exactly what meets the criteria for the word "family"....
She is a good daughter. God bless you and your family.
the life he gave, ended up giving life back to him
She is remarkable. A friend sister donated a kidney to her other brother who needed a transplant.
They are angels on this earth. These are the beautiful stories almost forgotten.
God Bless
What an amazing daughter! My brother donated a kidney to me in 2016, and I will forever be grateful. Best gift you can ever receive is a new lease on life!
Prayed for everyone on this list prayers away 🙏❤️✝️🇨🇦
Did anyone else notice the TV was talking about hitting the jackpot in the actual tiktok post? This family hit the jackpot in more ways than one.

Collecting $$$ for medical costs should be a thing of the past!
We need MEDICARE FOR ALL 🎉
Yes, it is shameful that you have to be rich to save your own life. Where is the American solidarity?
Tell that to the Republicans!
350 million people in this country. Nothing is free morons
That's why I love Canada
Yes but Biden and Pelosi paid Ukraine pension funds while social security is running out of money and bankrolling the Ukrainians whole economy while Americans go bankrupt with medical bills. Republicans are no better.
What a beautiful and special daughter
His daughter wanted to have her father in her life for a long time to come so she did what she had to do he would be around for some of the important things that are going to happen in the future that she wants him around to see what an amazing daughter he raised
Omg! As a father of two girls i cant even begin to imagine the tangled up ball of emotions...jeez kiddo. Very very selfless of you. Just wow! Im not crying!
This is so wonderful, it makes me want to cry too. Bless that sweet family, I would that The Lord help that family.
God bless them both dad's girl ❤💙
As a father, I would always be pissed off about her doing that…… but I understand❤
God!!! Bless them both!! 💖🙏🙂
A beautiful heartwarming story
Praying for you
I hear donation of an organ is often worse for donor than it is for the recepiant; she clearly love her dad to the moon and back. What an amazing kid ❤
Finally some Wonderful News, she's an awesome daughter
Beautiful story
Courageous young woman, quite the role model.
What a wonderful story. I wish the media would focus on the great things happening.
This guy must have been a wonderful father to her. I think he’s crying so much because he know she shortened her life by doing this but he’s got to be proud of her unselfish decision.
Awww that is amazing
Absolutely beautiful 😭🙏🏾✝️ Praying complete healing and good recovery for them both in Jesus Mighty Name 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Blessings
If it shortens her life, I wouldn’t accept this from my kid I’d rather her live longer
Family strength
A daughters love for daddy, has no bounds. I have 2 but one still lives with us.

Wonderful daughter.
Amazing story 💖💖💖
Well dang. I'm a grumpy old man that dislikes everyone, but this turned on the water works in my eyes. I really don't like when people make me feel that kind of happiness.
How would you feel if that happened to you?
Would you block feelings of gratefulness?
😂
THIS SWEETHEART GREAT GIRL MADE ME CRY!!
Very beautiful daughter, I know I wouldn’t be able to do that.
I wished I could have given my dad another kidney donation before he died but I couldn't since I have sle lupus and wasn't an match, the first kidney donation he got lasted 10 yrs he got it from an 30yr old man, I hated seeing him on dialysis, he hated being on it too, this is an sweet story to see. My dad was on dialysis for 8yrs, he got an nice 10yr break from it with that kidney donation then it gave out I was mad and devastated we all were then he had to go back on dialysis he lasted almost year before he died I wished I could have gave him one of mine but I wasn't able to. It's an heart warming story to see her save her dad.
I'm not able to donate any blood and organs since I have sle lupus I take an ton of meds to stay alive it's an awful terrible disease to have.
I would do the same. Love my dad so much💞
Many children would do the same all around the world amd don't want to seek amy recognition, including me. Why is this so special?
Dude missed the perfect dad joke. Instead of saying "are you kidding me" he should've said "are you kidney-ing me"
That right there is family
Beautiful 🥰🙏🏾
Im crying
Awesome
Angel
Amen
Is $6,000 like an insurance deductible or something? Cause a kidney transplant is like $262,000 and that's not including post care.
❤❤❤
So we could live without having 1 kidney?
Yep! Years ago my grandfather had a procedure done and it was discovered that he had only one kidney! Apparently he never suffered any adverse effects from only having one.
Angel 😇
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Awww ❤️❤️❤️🥺🥺
#elissechristinegordon Here's a daughter lesson. Glad to never miss you.
