Thanks for watching
Resurwreck autos uk - Авто та транспорт
Nice looking st mark apart from it must have been owned by some dirty person looking forward to seeing the rebuild on this 👌👍
Thanks Paul the inside is bad worst one yet but i will bring it back good buddy stay safe 👍👍
Electronic stability control ESC nice car though but being a detailer seeing you scrape of the tree sap was painful 😂
Hi Wayne thanks buddy 😂no damage was done to the paint 👍👍
Wayne Little - I was cringing as well. A drop of tar remover would have done the job better.
@@franklove9897 🤷live and learn right
That's it we all learn along the way in life good luck with the builds 👍
@@waynelittle5583 Thanks Wayne stay safe buddy 👍👍
Well done for getting an ST, a brilliant milestone on your channel.
Body colour is Deep Impact Blue, wheels do need refurbishment as this is an enthusiasts car so deserves to be as good as you can get it.
A full service and cambelt won't go amiss and gives the new owner peace of mind plus makes it far more sellable at a decent price.
Best of luck with this new project, looking forward to seeing the rebuild
Great content as always looking forward to the progress on this one thanks for sharing
Mark, the inner skin is creased around the wheel arch too, so when they jig the outside skin, there will be the need for some additional bodywork for the wheel arch too.
When you were pointing out the damage to the inner skin, I was sure you were going to mention the other creases too.
I know you'll ensure that a full and proper job is done on the quarter area, both inside and out, 'cos I've watched your approach toward a high quality level of work and I can see that it is how you plan and execute your rebuilds.
Good luck with this one mate.
Thanks Barry nice one buddy I have had the guy that is doing the work I will mention what to him stay safe 👍👍
Hi mark another brilliant video as always and hope you are all staying safe and well and hope your and your family are staying safe and well
Great Video, really looking forward to this car being repaired, own one in this colour myself (bit cleaner). Its a PCV Oil Catch Can that you were talking about, well worth investing in, designed to collect oil and moisture passing through the vacuum system, minimising the build up of carbon on the back of the inlet valves, which is a common issue for GDi engines, although yours has done 74k so maybe a bit late, probably needs a good carbon clean, walnut blast etc.
It's also very normal for these GDi engines to sound a bit tappety....seized rear brakes is probably the caliper sliding pins, common issue on these.....👍
Mark you are a great guy and you must have an amazing family keep up the fanatstic videos cheers Stephen
Thanks Stephen i have a lovely amazing family support me all the way nice one buddy stay safe 👍👍
thoroughly entertaining stuff as always matey glad car is what you wanted looking forward to developments with it
Thanks Ian nice one buddy stay safe 👍👍
Lovely little st Mark a very easy repair. Looking forward to seeing the build. Hope you managed to get it at the right price
Thanks Tim appreciate it buddy hopefully will work out ok 👍👍
Loving the tree wax 😂😂 you do brighten up things on here. Keep up the good work mate 👍
Thanks Ian you can tell i don't scrip this videoing 😂😂I'm just keeping it real stay safe buddy 👍👍
Cracking little car Mark, lovely colour. Hope there’s no hidden problems, take your time getting it all right. Should be a good profit for you. Looking forward to the future videos.
Thanks Trevor appreciate it buddy stay safe 👍👍
Nice ST that mate, plenty of work but you are up to it 👍Will be good content, look forward to it! Stay safe bud!! 👍🙂
Thanks Steve nice one buddy stay safe 👍👍
Glad you're putting it somewhere to get that rear quarter sorted. If anyone can clean that interior to a high standard it's you! 😂😁 ESC off is turning off the electronic stability control....not a great idea as it saves people whose imagined driving ability far exceeds their actual ability. Just keep it standard Mark, it's fast enough as it is. Probably very tappity cos it needs an oil change, you worry too much and see problems where there probably are none. Don't think it was smoky, just condensation from the damp and it probably had a lot of moisture in the exhaust from standing and not running for a while, relax! 🙂
hi mark another brill video happy so see a fiesta st on channel best colour to have buy far cant wait to see more videos with the car
Thanks Brian really like the colour smart fiesta this one 👍👍
Hi mark the paint work looks really good and I hope you are pleased with it
Thanks Ben i am so pleased with it nice one buddy stay safe 👍👍

Heres the start of them sts set yourself a aim an you smashed it mate well done keep it up mate an before we know it the workshop be full of them 👍🤣
Thanks Darren that's the aim buddy nice one stay safe 👍👍
The cat s would worry me but as you have a bloke that sorts that out it won’t be a problem and will be a very nice car when finished 👍😀
Nice car mate great little cars
it's very nice project I have a black one 2016 model with 19,000 miles the drivers seat doesent reclyne I'm not sure why it's suddenly stuck maybe the cables inside or it's simply unclipped at the bottom I think you will have to disconnect the battery and leave for 2 hours before removing the 2 front seats to let the gas settle then undo the two electric cables under each seat one for heated seat and one for air bags.
Thanks Mark for the Covid vid' nice car only 74k! but i'm surprised the nearside rear wheel has locked up??
If you want to borrow an old Brillo pad to get the next lot of sap off I have one Mark. Might be kinder than the trim removal tool..🤪 nice little motor. Good luck
😂🤣Thanks buddy stay safe
Looks a nice car mark. I know you had to travel a long way to get it but it will be worth it when it's finished.
Stay safe mark and see you on the next one.
Thanks Stephen i did mate but well worth it stay safe buddy 👍👍
Wow great find....engine noise is normal for theses no problems there...👏🏻

M8 no need to scrap the tree wax (tree resin) off just boil the kettle old cloth and put the hot wet cloth on top tree wax let it soak then it will just wipe off 😁your new nickname is mr treewax lol nice motor
about 50 mins from me in west yorks nice bonus with the bumper cant wait for this one

nice moter mark you will make that look great well done
Thanks Stephen nice one buddy stay safe 👍👍
Hi mark the st looks really nice and let’s hope you don’t find then hidden problems with it and let’s hope you can make a really good profit on it
Thanks Ben nice one buddy stay safe mate 👍👍
Nice to see you getting a sporty wee number on the channel. Don’t worry about the boy racer aspect there dumbed down to safe levels at factory that’s why with a simple remap you can get about 30bhp from it safely. I don’t understand the waffle comments if they don’t like it they can move on I personally like the videos keep up the good work it will now be hard to go back to a 1.2 fiesta 😂
Nice motor dosnt look too bent . Keep it standard lol. Brake is probably seized with standing should free off easy enough . Back in the 80s I bought a damaged repairable Mk11 Astra from Bessacarr Autos Doncaster . It seemed like a long day going to fetch it but your journey is twice as far lol . Great motor for the channel your subs should go up a bit with this one Mark.
Thanks Rich I'm all ready looking at another one 😂😂 stay safe buddy 👍👍
Hi mark. If that conifer tree sap has marked the paint you should be able to flat it out with 2000 and mop it up. Same as bird stains as long as they aren’t too deep they come up ok
It looks like it'll be another really good one, when it's all done. I hope it pulls out as nicely for you, as you'd like it to. Without to many, if any, problems with the off side wing / fenders fold like crease! panel! Shane. :-)
Thanks buddy lets hope so nice one mate stay safe 👍👍
Please drop the exhaust off its brackets and polish the tips lol but damn it's quiet! not smokey just condensation thanks Mark
Thanks Richard I was going to do that buddy the tips are really rusty look horrible nice one buddy 👍👍
Nice buy Mark, very little damage on that one. should be a quick flip
Thanks Paul nice one buddy really not that much damage should be a quick one to repair stay safe mate 👍👍

Lovely buy.....tree SAP .......IS THE word .....and steam clean for the mouldy boot liner ...it should come off !

I would fit new cam belt that taping sounds like water pump I would change if you ask good price for this car which you should the type of car it is new owner needs to know the engine is not going to pack up if u have no proof of belt change change it new engine would cost well over a thousand pounds mate looks a nice car well done again
Phil in stoke
decent enough find good car for channel and hopefully your pocket
Thanks buddy nice one stay safe 👍👍
No need to change the exhaust tailpipes. Give them a clean up with Solvol Autosol chrome cleaner. If the grime is really bad try getting the worst of it off with a Brillo pad first then use the chrome cleaner after that
Nice motor bud. I'd put some tar remover on the the marks. The plastic scraper will end up damaging the paintwork.
Thanks Richard its going to take a lot of elbow crease on this one 😂😂 stay safe buddy 👍👍
I can see you keeping this for yourself
Hi Daniel don’t start giving me ideas 😂🤣😂 mate it must go unfortunately but there’s always another one stay safe 👍👍
Hi
Great content on you tube! Quick question if you can help? What do the letters on the end of the co part lot number denote? I know the x is insurance but not sure of others?
Thanks
it will be a nice car when its done mate
Thanks Ian it’s going to be a lovely car nice one buddy 👍👍😷
Lucky to get the bumper in the right colour , the only problem with STs there always thrashed by boy Racers. Last owner fire didn’t care for it , the state of the inside
Hi mate you are so right 👍👍
Keep it standard. Can't understand why spend a fortune on a car then let it get in that state .go rescue it👍👍
Thanks Edward i think will keep standard and it does need some TLC stay safe buddy 👍👍
any chance of same spare wheel +jack and and wheel kit holder
It would be interesting to see how much you get these cars for and how much it takes to get them back to being road worthy again like salvage rebuilds do and to hear what you are selling them for aswell
Nice looking st dont do mods leave it as it is there smart as they are
Thanks James really nice coloured well 👍👍
Nice little car Mark
Thanks buddy stay safe 👍👍
That's a lot more work than what you think that rear will need some replacement pannels to make a good job of it or it will never be right.
Hi buddy lets see what my guy can do fingers crossed stay safe buddy 👍👍
Hi Mark looks like it was parked under a Pine tree and its the tree sap on the car
Thanks Michael yes mate defo you are right there stay safe buddy 👍👍
i panicked when i seen YB i thought it was YD for a split second and thought it was my old car lol
😂🤣😂
What St is it one two or three as the value are all different
Mark you have to invest in a Karcher washer make life easier for you
Hi Stephen i do have one but i need a long hosepipe so think i will get one nice one buddy 👍👍
Great example and a great find Mark. I wonder if the parking brake is seized. Inside definitely need your tlc. You going to add any mods to this??
Thanks buddy it defo needs TLC i don't know about mods at the moment buddy 👍👍
I was thinking what’s wrong with it! And then.
Still not bad damage tho
Thanks Peter the insurance company must thought i would cost thousands just to clean up the inside 😂😂😷
Copart Sandtoft, about 7 miles from me 😄
Hi David really i was so close mate stay safe buddy 👍👍

Esc button is traction control, my Focus had it. (The colour is Ford Imperial blue you only get it on RS/ST models)
Thanks buddy really like the colour smart fiesta this one stay safe mate 👍👍
Lovely car like that totally filthy inside. Why would someone treat a car like this 🤔 Best ST colour out there. Are you keeping it for yourself 🤔
See if the panel beater will let u film the pulling 🙏
I can't be sure but to me it looks like the bonnet and bumper aren't sitting right - Drivers side looks good and passengers side looks to be higher and a slightly larger gap at 3:43 is when I 1st noticed it and at 12:48 is the gap I noticed
Hi Martin i will look at that nice one buddy stay safe 👍👍
Hey Mark check out Spark Plug Steve on UA-cam for some tips on what to do with your ST
Thanks John i have been buddy Steve loves his ST nice one buddy stay safe 👍👍
Do not bother with a remap as you will reduce the number of potential buyers and even if you do you will be lucky to see your money back.
Thanks Mark appreciate it buddy you are probably right nice one stay safe 👍👍😷
Leave it standard if your selling it,if you are gonna keep it MAP it
Doncaster...... you could of popped in for a (socially distance) brew. 😜
Your only 15 mins away.(santoft)
😷😃😷😃Next time buddy nice one Will stay safe buddy 👍👍
I was told by an old valeter to use cold water to get rid of tree sap, never tried it (sold the car) but it'll cost you nothing but a bit of time
Thanks for the info buddy nice one stay safe 👍👍
Hi Mark happy new festa ST, just one point what,s with the bonnet,it looks to be sitting slightly higher on the n/s or is it me ?.
Hi Harry i have had some one else say that so i will be looking into that nice one buddy 👍👍
Nice car, where will you take it to get the back pulled out (jig) ?
Hi Ken i have found a really good guy and that's all he does near me he has a workshop with a jig 👍👍

Thanks David nice one buddy appreciate it stay safe buddy 👍👍
I would not do the stage 1 don't think you will get your money back , it may hit your resale as it would have to be declared to get insurance on it for the buyer
Try engine oil flush and new oil and filter and adding hydraulic tappet restorer by liquidmoly
Thanks for the info buddy that liquidmoly does sound good nice one buddy stay safe 👍👍
@@ResurwreckAutosUK hi mark it's actually called LIQUI MOLY it's German.i used it on my fiat when the tappets got noisey and it cured it.stay safe
I’d take the carpet out give it a good soak with tfr. Then pressure wash it and wet vac dry. In my experience when they are that dirty if you just try to wet vac it will just keep dragging out all the filth and not clean it properly
Thanks Troy might be a good idea nice one buddy stay safe 👍👍
Great video. Why tape up the number plate ? At start of video when you picked up the whole plate is there to see !
Hes new give him a break 😂
Thanks guys I'm having a go right 😂😂 no script with me stay safe 👍👍
I don’t get the whole hiding the plate anyway it’s on public display when out on the road showing plates worked well on serious about salvage Phil got the history and a few bits given to him by his focus st’s previous owner
The reg for the corsa has already been seen twice it just shows mistrust in a way and some people like playing internet detective I guess which to me seems harmless I presume there not taxed so no point anyone trying to clone the plate to appear legit in a stolen car
@@shanebrown6667 Hi Shane it’s not all good people watching UA-cam plates can be bought and used by criminals on another car just thinking ahead better to be safe then sorry later 🤷

Engine bay looks standard and relitively tidy by that it doesn’t look like it has had mods hastily ripped out
@@shanebrown6667 You are right, but it doesn't look loved either.
Dadio Mofo granted the interior isn’t the tidiest and there isn’t many not seen the wrong side of a hedge at some point wether recorded or not I have had old school and modern day performance fords they can take a beating and keep running sweet but they do need regular servicing and I tend to stay away from ones with cheap tyres as that to ke is a sign of been ran on a minimum budget no history and been cat s will make it a harder sell but it will sell
