Im willing to bet $1000 dollars Matt has already completed extensive research on the best type of coating for shower glass already. Ill also use my winnings to pay Matt to do a Wash and Talk on the shower glass so I can hear the intricacies of different ceramic coatings

Forget the door in the shower. Just do a partition glass. I’ve got a very similar layout in my bathroom and it’s perfect.

Conquer your fears Matt. There’s nothing safer than a scissor lift on left ground. I use them all the time that same model in fact. If you guys would like to disable the alarm on there it’s a simple plug in the battery tray. 😂 just remember to plug it back in so you don’t piss off sunbelt, the Orlando sunbelt guys are awesome.
Standing on the ground is definitely safer 😆
I have the worst fear ever with ladders. I bought a scissor lift just to avoid them. Best decision ever.

I would put door in shower 100%. It can have a floating door, I've seen it. It's just easier to keep water in shower and keeps it comfortable temperature wise. Confortable for person taking shower or person getting ready in bathroom or putting in makeup etc.
It's not needed. This is Florida, not Connecticut. I have a doorless shower and it works perfectly fine in milder climates.

The shower door isn't needed at all. It will look ridiculous and achieve nothing. I've got the exact same setup (without the soaking tub), and my shower works fine with a simple dividing glass section.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, what a series 😂 in the UK we have shows like Grand Designs but they don’t show anywhere near enough of what it takes to get to completion. I only hope you get more projects off the back of this and keep the videos coming!

For the bathroom, what is with an sliding glass door to make the room bigger if you don't use the shower. Instead of an opening glass door, what would permantly seeing in the room when you come in.

The door looking not straight in the kitchen is probably because of the old wood on the right being not level. The gap between the new and old wood, on the right side at the top, is tighter than the bottom. At least it appears that way on camera.
