The Mercedes is good if you can get it cheap enough! Just like Mike's S430! Too bad about the Mustang, you can tell it wasn't "clapped" out and taken care of. The first thing to go on these things are generally the factory stereo.
I'd love to see the Ranger on the channel! It'll make for a simple project and a quick flip!

I had a 2008 Ranger for a summer. 2.3 automatic with 181k; drove like butter, but had some nasty frame rot. turned a 600$ toy into a 3200$ work truck for someone.

Well sir, up till last year I drove a 99 Ranger step side that I purchased back in 2015 and I can tell you that I DID drive that truck every day. It was a great truck till the head gasket blew on it. I was going to patch up the engine till I noticed the frame had major rot in it. And that is why I ended up selling it.
Mercedes would be one to buy and fix up!!! She runs,,air matic works,and A/C😊👍

I have 3 of those bodystyle mustangs in my backyard, my dad bought his 1999 brand new when it came out, it threw a rod at 234,000, loved that car to death, gonna try and put a new motor in it
That generation of Ford/Mazda Ranger pickup apparently sold as fast as they could be delivered to dealerships in our area. One would be hard pressed to drive far without passing one on the road to this day. Some look like they left the dealership yesterday, others clearly are daily driver delivery and commuter light load carriers while still others look like they need some serous love, or a decent funeral. The third category are in use by a couple of local mechanics and body shops while many are in use by farmers. Four such Rangers are in use by first and second owners in our neighborhood as daily drivers and cover the gamut of appearance as described above. The current Ford Ranger has not exactly set the world on fire in our rural area as you are far more likely to see a Toyota, Nissan, or GM "midsize" pickup in use and on the road than a new generation Ranger since it does not seem to offer anything that an F-150 has going for it. I think Ford pretty much screwed the pooch with the new Ranger.

I am shocked to see Door Glass break like that. We have had Tempered Safety Glass and Laminated Glass in Australia since I think the late 30's/ early 40's. Only in much older Cars do I recall seeing the Glass break in large chunks like that. But on a modern Mercedes Benz? WOW! I did not expect that!

Wow this Benz might be a good pick up! Mustang good car for a kid definitely. Think I’d take the ranger and put a 4wd drivetrain in it. She’s decent. The carnage is crazy.
So I worked for a drug store that had the same ranger in a long bed with the purple stripes! I delivered medicine in it! Never understood the weird stripes! That one was 2.3 with a 5 speed! It had 274k when I started driving it and was a 94 i believe! Also the blue interior. That brought back memories.

Mercedes is a tough call. It will need a lot of repair and will not bring anything in resale. Will the views offset the loss? You are fantastic at what you do on UA-cam.

Randy I have a 2001 Ford Ranger long bed and I have had it for 9 years and I keep it for a second vehicle and right now my son is using it for his own car broke and he didn't have the funds to get it fixed but HELL the old ranger is still going strong it's has the largest 4 banger you can get and it is very good on gas and still has a lot of power it's has a 5 speed transmission and everything works except for the radio was stolen Charlie y

As far as the ford ranger being daily drivers , my brother has one ( extended cab ) that daily drives his , and it has the 2.3 with 5 speed manual . I wouldn't mind owning one myself
