Somebody did lots and lots of work on that Ranger. And it's in good shape! By the way i just drove my 1998 244,000 mile V6 ranger (4 x 4 off road) to florida and back from Indiana ... and it did not use a quart of oil. (So I am a ranger fan!) I now 247,000 miles on it.

Randy you are correct, the convertible rear seats will not fit the coupe rear seats. Those wheels and factory tail lights would be nice on the GT!

I been looking for one with a v8 in it alteady.Sure the engine may not have much more hp than a more modern 4.0v6,but the torque will certainly be more.Even if it came out of an old Explorer.I got to have one myself!

As for the GMC S15, I'd *LOVE* to see that on the channel! My suspicion is that someone purposefully locked the doors because it actually ran! Go bid as far as you can to teach the cheater a lesson!!! Maybe you'll win it!
I'd also like to see you buy a parts Mustang to help the GT you have. But if you go a different direction, maybe you could do a salvage yard walkaround of you getting the parts you need!

I am an absolute sucker for any old 80s and 90s trucks. The 97 Ford is extremely nice. The 5.0 ranger is pretty cool! I love that GMC, definitely a lot of character. It would be amazing if you could win it, just to find out what's under the hood and the full extent of the interior modifications. The green f150 from title max might be rough, but I still like it.

Love love love the f-150 my first truck was a 02 f150 same body style and it was very reliable
My dad had a 91 Explorer this color exterior and interior. 4.0, 4x4 and 5 speed manual. He drove it to the scrapyard with over 380k miles on it. He also had a 92 Ranger silver with red interior, 2.3, rwd, 5 speed manual with over 400k miles on it. He actually drove it until I had to put him into a nursing home.
I had a 92 ranger xlt single cab white. I loved that truck after I had lots of stuffed fixed but I made a cross country trip and back in it in 1994 and it ran great I had the v6 in it. Also mine had no a/c and I drove that thing even on the hottest days and in Florida on my trip.

Plug a code reader into the '97 Ford and you should be able to read the odometer that way. Also may show the engine hours too.😊😊
Hello Randy. The 2008 Ford Mustang is a good looking car. You should buy it if it doesn't go to high at auction. The 2000 Pontiac Grand AM is a good looking car.
Pretty sure the fob on the Mustang is for an aftermarket remote keyless entry module and is not compatible with the factory keyless entry system. I installed one with a fob just like that on a truck I used to have.

The 5.0 ranger hands down. It could be an efi 5.0 which they took the top end off from, you never know. You can improve on it.

AUTO AUCTION REBUILDS-that green F-150 was my grandfather’s truck,he passed then the truck got sold to a local man in houston Texas and last was seen on the east side but that was 2 years ago. I know because the dent on the side was from my Tia hitting a tree 25:57

You might be able to use the front seats but the back seats won't work. The frame and mechanism for the convertible top protrude into the passanger space and reduce the width of the rear seat. Since your interior is a different color that's probably not going to work for you. We had several 1998 through 2001 F150s that were used for our business. A cpuple of them had 500;000+ miles when got rid of them. They were properly maintained but we had no major problems with them No engine issues, no Transmission failures, no alternators replaced, no starters replaced, no air condition repairs. We also had Crown Victorias and Grand Marquis from the same era and after and those were very good and relieable but not nearly as problem free as the trucks. I know that those trucks have some common issues but ours were the most relieable trucks we had ever had before or since and we've had them all.

On that older f150 if you tap on the odometer with your knuckles a few times 9/10 they will come back on for a minute.
A connection has to be soldered , the gauge cluster has to come out, mine does the same thing

Do a fabric change for the seats
The seat upholstery in the Mustang look like it may be dealer-installed Katskins leather. I don't think I have seen a Mustang, especially a V6 one like that with seats like those. If they are, the seat upholstery is quite expensive and I believe much higher quality than factory.
Likewise, Kenwood Exceleron stereos are or were the top end of the range for Kenwood and those wheels are sharp. I say buy it if you get a good deal, swap the good stuff onto your car, the stuff currently on your car back to the V6 and send it back to auction.
You might end up getting the better parts for yours for free.
