Train Derailment Cars Finally Make It To Cincinnati! CSX Train Comes Around Wye In Kentucky, Repost

- Remember The Train Derailment CSX Had A Few Days Ago In Covington, Kentucky? The Train That Derailed Was On The Wye Track And Heading To Queensgate Yard, Cincinnati, Ohio. See my video. It was the M510 and the cars that were behind the derailed covered hopper cars were taken back to Louisville, Kentucky by the local. Again, see my video, the link is below. 4 Locomotives from the L404 came from Obannon, Kentucky which is just outside of Louisville and they brought the cars back to Osborne Yard in Louisville. Three days later when the M510 was running north the cars were added to it and I caught them at the same place where the derailment happened three days before. This video shows that. This time when I filmed the train I got the other side of the train. Check out that Chessie System boxcar! THIS IS A REPOST! Other video had a problem.
First we see a CSX local switching freight train that came from Decoursey Yard and was heading to Queensgate. It got permission to go through the zone on 160.230 and I got it at the railroad crossing at the same place where I was a couple days ago. This train came from the CC Sub ( Corbin Cincinnati ). The best frequency for that line is 161.370 which just happens to be the same frequency as the LCL Sub ( Lexington Cincinnati Louisville ) also known as The Short Line.
Next, we see the M510 train with a DPU locomotive mid train. This is the one that I came to film. It took it exactly five hours to get from the street running section of LaGrange, Kentucky to where I filmed it in Covington. LaGrange is just outside of Louisville and I have a Street Running Trains play list with over a hundred videos of freight trains from around America that run in the streets. Look how long that train was! The person who notified me about this train passing through LaGrange told me that it had 123 cars on it. That was his count so let me know if he counted right. Hard to believe that only 2 locomotives could pull all of that. The engineer waved to me at the railroad crossing also! Pretty cool.
After that I went a short distance north to KC Junction. This is where a third CSX line ties in. This line is the Ohio River Line that comes from Russell, Kentucky and operates on 160.230 as the road channel. I just wanted to show the location of a new live camera that is on UA-cam. This area is not very safe, especially if you are alone. I could tell some stories about this location but not enough space here. You will see what the dogs were up to when I got home and then we have the usual slide show that comes from the video.
Filmed Thursday, August 10, 2023 in 1080p with 60fps. Thanks for watching!
Please thumbs up and watch another JawTooth video to help my channel.

I had to take the original video down and repost it. A freight car had some pretty bad graffiti on it and I couldn’t figure out how to remove it. I cut out 7 seconds and redownloaded the video.
I seen some bad graffiti on few trains I just apologize for it in my videos it's unbelievable what we see
Thank you for your high standards and integrity. We don’t know how many young, budding rail fans are watching.
Awww, I wanna see the graffiti
It's interesting how railroad's can operate trains, with just two locomotives, pulling that many cars.
It depends what video editing program you use. Some programs let you to track and blur moving objects, some not.
Nothing like watching a Jawtooth video in the morning!
Or a hot Sunday afternoon in Manchester,England..so enjoyable.
Good Morning 🌅🌄
Awesome video JawTooth 👌👌👍
Good morning!😊
@@JawTooth Great job
Keep up the great work 👍😎👍🤗😁😊
Love the high pitched turbo sounds of the old EMD SD 40-2s leading this local. Trucks extend beyond the body- looks like a barracuda fish copy
Congratulations on having over two hundred thousand subscribers
Thank you so much 😀😊
Greatly deserved.
@@JawTooth You and your family deserve it
They certainly dealt with the derailment quickly and thoroughly.Bravo lads.
Nice to see the update on that derailment
but great to see the trains in Wye Kentucky
as well as the pets and the slide shows at
the end of the videos, trains, dogs and cats
all in one video, Thanks Jaw Tooth.🤠🐶🐱
🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🚃🇺🇲💨
Your respect for these trains and the staff is wonderful.👍🏼
Thank you very much!😊
This train is bound for glory, this train...popped into my mind
Plenty of varied and older Freight cars but the now frequently seen flat cars are going back to Quebec for aluminum ingots and since Covington is so close to Cincinnati plenty of Hometown gondolas from DJ Joseph. That's an impressive older Steel Bridge but those tall sides also can hide unsavory or downright dangerous people. We love the location shots but we also would like to see you come back safely.
I love watching the train videos. Ever since I was a little girl, I've always liked counting the cars on the trains.
That is a lot of fun for sure
Fun fact: If you look at the lights on the railroad crossing, you’ll notice that they will keep getting dimmer until they completely disappear and then keep getting brighter until they’re really bright over and over again.
This is caused by the UA-cam frame rate of 60 FPS almost perfectly matching up with the electrical frequency of 60 Hz. I forgot the name of this specific effect, but it’s the one that makes car tires appear to be spinning backwards.
Nicely done I'm railfanning now got 3 ET44AC 1 SD70ACE 1 ES44AC
Interesting footage. We don’t see that too often. Loki is getting big!! Thank you!
Thanks for visiting😊
10:06 top video! So beautiful train! Have a nice new week! Greetings from Brasil 🇧🇷
Nice to see the old New York Central boxcars ahead of the DPU.
Despite being an ex-Long Islander, I can always appreciate some old NYC rolling stock.
🚂I usually always catch new Jawtooth videos in the mornings. I always call them my breakfast trains. Helps make your day with a healthy dose of trains to go with your cereal especially when I C DPU s I C U🚂 Thanks Jawtooth.
Thanks for watching!
Awesome trains in Covington, Kentucky, thank you.
Glad you like them!😊
A Jaw Tooth video is a must for me in the morning. I'm lost if I don't see a new one. Awesome video. Have a nice day 😊🌈
In the mid 90's i saw an entire 81 car consist of nothing but those big boxes being high balled at 50+ mph. All graphetti free. Miss those days
Nice. That was a long local! Excellent video JT!
+-Thank You Jaw tooth , good seeing the three lash up of the SD"s still running strong!
Any time!
I remember your first posting of this video, Jaw Tooth! I know that I added a comment to the first edition of this video however, I do not remember what I said in that comment. I do remember that I said something about liking the "Chessie the Cat" logo and that I wished that CSX would go back to using the "Chessie the Cat" logo on their equipment. It is a shame that you cannot replace a version of a UA-cam video with an updated version and leave all the comments from the original version of the video on the revised version of the video. I did enjoy watching this revised version of the video!
❤❤️ Like some belches, better half second time around! Thanks Jaw Tooth! 👍👍
That was a great mixed freight! They just about everything on there. 😊😊😊
You got that right!
Again a awesome video Jaw Tooth watching enjoying too and enjoy the side show too all of your videos are awesome Jaw Tooth 🚂🚂🚂🚂👍😃😎♥️

@@aldo5428 their is a video from somebody who did this not long ago, unfortunately I can't remember who it was, gonna have to research this.
@@edsel6818 let us know if you find it…
Nice to see cars without graffiti!! Great video as usual…
Thanks 👍
Merci beaucoup pour cette très belle vidéo et très bon dimanche ! 👍✨🙏
You answered a lotta my questions 'Why?' about the Wye without resorting to 'Because'. How come? Do you think the derailment was caused by non-humans? Gracias por tu video, Señor Jaws. RT sends, Puebla, México... Go Bills!!!
Interesting description, Brian. I enjoyed the video. Hugs from Danny and I in Florida.
awesome video... thanks, was wondering what camera do you use?
At the beginning of the video if that's a no train horn zone should there be gates put on the crossing?.
Watching another Jawtooth video in the morning with my coffee
Hope you enjoyed it!😊
Back in the day when A O Smith was building car and truck frames, several TRAINS of frames would be leaving the Milwaukee factory, daily!
Does anyone know where the truck frames are coming from and where they are going to?
Good video Brian.
The best time to watch a Jaw Tooth train in the morning
That is one long local.
Looking at the pictures of the derailment, I wonder if there wasn't a bypass on the switch: the front bogie of one car went onto one branch of the Y, while the rear bogie took the other branch of the Y.
Who would put a bypass on the switch? Would that look something like the portable derailers?
Great catches and excellent video jaw tooth
Amazing videos jaw tooth keep up the good work
Glad you like them!
Great video JT 👌👍😇
Thanks 👍😊
With alle those steel coil cars, somebody is building something!
Great video JT! I enjoyed it.😊😊❤❤

More to come!
Hello fred again
Awesome repost video JT!!!
Thanks!
Good video Jawtooth
Thanks!
Nice video.
Thanks!
Looks like a lovely spot at that level crossing JT? So this train will have come through LaGrange first before reaching here? Sure was a long train! Yes Loki is growing up fast! ❤😊
That is correct
@@JawTooth thanks JT.
Nice Video
Nice freight trains!
Thank you very much!
@@JawTooth Hi Brian! You're welcome!
Nice Coverage
🍀🌷🇮🇳🌷🍀
thanks
How long does it take to uncouple and unload that many carriages.
Still would like to have jawtooth visit tower55 in Fort worth.
Love those trains, thanks. jaw tooth
Glad you like them!
Hello fred
Never seen covered gondolas before.
Thanks for watching!
That's not how you park your train. Lol
I like train videos on UA-cam jawtooth dpu alright 👍
Have you knowist how the road signal is constantly come and go in terms of working? Noticed this at many signals all over. This should be addressed as it could be dangerous at night.
I've gotta thing about trains johnny cash
Is it my imagination or did the signals quit flashing for a bit
Wow, look at all thise truck frames......with the astronomical cost of trucks, i dont see how there selling them ????
Easy credit 7.5 year loans......😢
Weird that they took it all the way to louisville. You would think if they need to clear the area they could just go to worthville ky
Maybe they had to inspect the cars and loads is all that makes sense to me
Funny how they dont have gates at this crossing ???
What happened to the Dupps part 2 live stream that was supposed to be instead of this repost?
I can’t find the time to finish the video. 4 soccer games and an auction just down the road from my house.
Why don't I get to see Conrail box cars on NS?
What is thr link for the live UA-cam channel of covington
RR Crossing signal keeps fading out, then comes back on.
LED flash frequency vs Camera frame timing? (AKA aliasing)
JAW tooth what is the name of your theme music and who plays it I like it
Heavy by Huma Huma
@@JawTooth Thank you very much..
keep on training...
Be careful.
👍🏻🚂😎
trees are changing, get ready for cool
LOL @19:22 "All you hoes... Railfan Amigos"
The crossing lights keep going out while train is crossing
