When I saw the flowers & a pink engine block l knew it had to be a chicks car, Chip you're a one of a kind builder/designer, this is another absolutely beautiful car 😉👍
It's been quite awhile since I've watched any Overhaulin'..glad I came across this UA-cam to see the Master again...Chip, you and everyone stay well and safe.
Only Chip Foose can take an iconic car and make all but invisible subtle changes to it. Fantastic at his craft. I see similarities between the changes to this and the E type Jaguar actually. Great job
Watch something like WCD then you watch this. It's like a whole new world. My mate told about Chip and his work. WOW. Chip you're true artist my friend and a real honour watching this.
Not many people have the ability to actually visualize in 3-D and imagine morphing one shape into another and then execute the changes! I've always admired Chip Foose!
Foose!! Foose!! Love it. He is a master. Besides the pink and flowers the bumpers did not need to be added. If it is a Foose design it will always have those bumpers.
Chip Foose is a master of all cars and style. Especially if its got a Blue Oval or 4 capital lettlers on the hood. Every Ford or Shelby he touchs is like no other. And the VWs he has touched are out of this world.
As usual, Chip does it again. The car is simply gorgeous and the wheels are the icing on the cake, nothing like a beautiful couple of pairs of shoes. 😎
This sure answers the questions left by the T.V. show. Have to say I enjoyed this more (or at least as much). Definitely liked the Aston Martin grill mod.
@@P51 Because there are not enough car guys in the world. You need the drama to caputure wives and other demographics. It's no different then asking why Ford built automatic versions of the '03-'04 Mach 1Mustang. The transmission lowered the max RPM of the DOHC engine by 1,000 RPM. Scott Hoag, the project manager didn't want an auto and the solde very few. The bean counters would not sign off on the Mach 1 unless an auto version was available - purely so guys could talk more wives into letting them buy one. "Look Honey, it's got an automatic transmission. You can drive it!"
It's Pete Brock. Peter Brock was the Australian racer who killed himself in a (Pete) Brock Coupe. That's what this car was known as before Lance Stander of Superformance paid Shelby to slap his name on it and jack the price by thousands.
To me, the Daytona is probably the one car I wouldn't change. Peter Brock made it perfect the first time. Love the interior and engine bay upgrades though. Did they fab the power windows?
Windows are manual crank as is standard on the Gen1 Daytonas made by Superformance and side windows were custom made by Eddie Kotto at Kotto Auto Glass to fit Chip's new roofline.
Nice to as always see chip actually working on the car, and whilst I totally appreciate the skills involved, to me it ended up looking like an E type front, grafted on a 240z middle, with the rear of something else.......
The Superformance Daytona was also designed by Pete Brock. Hi Tech in South Africa went to Brock and said, "If you could do the original all over..... That's exactly what Pete did and that makes the "Brock Coupe" AKA Superformance Daytona AKA new Shelby Daytona the ultimate expression of the original FIA World Champion. Just leave it alone. Brock is too nice of a guy to make a stink and he was in the show but after the show......
Love your work. You are by far the best at your profession. I have a 1991 Dodge Stealth 3.0 V6 I would love for you to overhaul for me. Problem is I could never afford your price in a million years. It's a badass ride and deserves the overhaul.
Sorry but Chip completely missed the mark on this one. She made it very clear that she didn't want a Barbie car and that's exactly what he gave her - with the flowers, pink engine, pink highlights, Jaguar style bumpers. I think Meryl Streep would be impressed by Marissa's ability to act happy even though she was probably feeling extreme regret. BTW, what's the point in consulting with "the insider" in this case her husband, then completely ignoring what he had to say ?
Curious..how long did it actually take to film each car they did..because I see a bug they had done on 1 of the episodes .. Mr. Foose your a fabulous artist.
I like the one scene we’re chip is working, the rest of the personnel on there cell phone’s any one remember pagers? Beautiful ride”
I bet your team loves working with you because you do as much, if not more work, than anyone. Much respect to you Chip.
Being able to see the crew work and some detail, plus some real Chip's work moments... I consider this a gift! Thank you!
Chip, the passion you have for your work is inspiring. Thanks for sharing the process!

If you get MotorTrend on demand it is on there!
This is a rerun.
Holy CRAP! I don't know how you keep coming up with new ideas! Truly, you are gifted! Easy to see why you were selected Designer of the Decade!
Just amazing! What a great looking Daytona Coupe! And Chip keeps coming up with fresh ideas, constantly, over and over! Just amazing!
Genius! Chip Foose is just a genius. I believe I've watched all previous seasons like a 100 times each.
Thank you Chip and the A Team for making Marissa's dream come true and to Devin for putting this together! Love you guys!!!
Thanks for the help!
Like everything Chip touches, a work of art!!!! Splendid
Wow... what an awesome build!

HO HUM just another example of PERFECTION from the MASTER DESIGNER!
Foose has always been my inspiration to start an automotive design career
your work on this Shelby Daytona was incredible. congratulations Cheap Foose and team. A big hug here from Brazil

Thanks Chip and the team for the cool video and super cool Daytona Coupe. Paul. New Zealand.

The Daytona is a beautiful car, yet Chip make subtle changes and your like, wow! Chip is a true visionary.
Love watching fine hands thinking . Well done
Awesome build only the best custom touches from the legend that is Chip Foose 👍
You are an inspiration to a lot of people. Keep up building these masterpieces. Stay safe.
Epic Daytona by the legendary Mr. Foose, gotta love his Craftsmanship! BTW, anyone else notice no horn button...Watch for finger 👍
Foose!! Foose!! Love it. He is a master. Besides the pink and flowers the bumpers did not need to be added. If it is a Foose design it will always have those bumpers.
Always awesome, Chip! Pete Brock would likely approve, even with the damn Shevelette tail lamps!
He could just ask him, Pete Brock is standing next to Chip at 12:20
Chip, Your wheel design reflects the flower design printed on the back part of the seat and front hood. Now I understand it was intentional. Wild!
Other than the rims the car looks amazing

Coolest American Car ever great jobs Foose crew
I believe I speak for many that this is what we wanted to see the most of or at least More of in the original Overhauling.
as always, perfection Chip!!!!
Taking an amazing car and making it a foose legend.

MORE of this....WAY cool
So looking at the front end, especially the headlight moldings, reminded me the Datsun 240-Z.
Sweet !!
One of my favourite cars, and I thought the original looked good.
This takes it to a new and wonderful level.
So Awesome!! My Monte Carlo SS 2002 over 300000 miles needs your love!! You and your guys are super Starz!
Hands on artist for sure.
Chip Foose is what you get when a magician and an artist have a baby!
There's a gorgeous "package" driving down the road!
The great Fooseley!!
Outstanding body mods!
Hello from Michigan what a very gorgeous car great job chip.
OK, so why does the TV version have to show all the BS when this is the stuff we want to see
GREAT question

Chip is not afraid to get his hands dirty in the trenches with the guys. Working just as hard and diligent. The Master and his Pupils.
outstanding!!!
i'll take one in midnight blue please
I love Foose. Chip gets in there and gets his hands dirty...
This is better than the original show!
Beautiful car Chip!!
Hell Yeah good to see some new content!
Attention Dumbass. THIS IS OLD VIDEO FROM AN OLD OVERHAULIN' and Chip's way to get you to pay to watch the old episodes on Motor Trend. Wakey, wakey!
Carroll Shelby this was built in 2019.

Those wheels! Man!
I can only dream about having the Master Jedi Chip Foose work over my old 60 Willis jeep with his magical ways.
.....and mad props to the lady driving that beast.
Très jolie travail , magnifique 👍😉
Nice work Foose design and Company.Like to see. Some paint work the beautiful lady suits the car with a feminine touch. NICE ANGAIN
He's the man that everyone looks up to and love!!! Oo and you can do my 99 ram to lol
Magnifique très beaux travail 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
Felicitaciones por el buen trabajo hecho
Chip Foose has vision of what a Car should be like, wish he would do a Tractor Unit.
No flowers pleaseeee noooo😭😭😭
Hope she puts more. Maybe the whole hood lol jk
Im sure Carroll would love the mods. I would to love to work next to Chip Foose just to learn as much as possible.
Carroll likes guys who can spel hs name. You should ask Pete Brock what he thinks.
@@carrollshelby8690 thanks fixed it
True Artisans.
hmmmmm, an eye opener in a strange but good way seeing the show behind the show
My ALL time favorite color ♥♥♥♥♥

Beautiful my 2nd favourite car

The Daytona Coupe is a racecar, and should be kept like a racecar. Doing this to the car is sacrilege in my books.

He is amazing!
FOOSE IS AN ARTIEST...
Am I the only one who thinks it looked better before redesign? It's like a Datsun now.
Jag E type.
The ALWAYS GREAT Chip build...But Pink< Purple and Flowers on a Daytona coupe,I threw up a little...
Thank God someone said it! 👍
Obviously adding a "personal" touch for the owner, albeit very odd.
I didn’t throw up. I love the women hood. It’s all good. Plenty of cars out there. Not to worry.
@Jeep 4low sometimes the owner is on drugs...the customer is not always right
