It’s great to watch a review that doesn’t sound like a commercial. I’ve watched several reviews of this bike and no one mentioned the speed cap below 50% battery. FYI, there is a step through version as well.

Thanks! That's what we aim for, its nice to know as much as you can before you get your new bike, both the good and the bad!
Great point that they have a step-thru as well

If you buy one of these and have problems getting 3.0 inner tubes and tires 2.2 inner tubes and tires fit just fine!

I just bought my Lectric 3.0 2 weeks ago. I agree with your review. Even the cons. I have to say over all I love it. Even with weather being from 30°-60° F I've managed to put 125 miles on it. I'm not looking for a bike that can do 30 mph unless I'm trying to outrun a dog🐶

Thank you! Great to hear you love it, I thought it was a great bike that is priced really well for its value. It makes sense it has a lot of happy riders

I ended up buying the Lectric 3.0 yesterday because you can fold them. How long from the time you ordered it to getting it? I have a camping trip in 2 weeks lol

I'm thinking about a week. I bought it March 6th and have put about 300 miles on it. I would have put more miles on it but I have a life and a wife 🤣

Do you really have to leave the key in while riding.?.? That seems like a huge flaw

You do; this is an aspect of the folding e-bikes that I do not like much. It feels like you could lose the key!
Now the key is firmly held in place, no way for it fall unless it gets snapped off and its pretty safe down under the frame. It also means someone cannot turn on the bike without the key, which is a good safety feature. But still, I don't like the feature much either.

Do you recommend this for camping or something like the mokwheel Mesa Plus ST?

The two bikes would be competitive, I have spoken to multiple people who use the XP 3.0 for camping, and offroad riding in the desert of Arizona, as well as the backwoods in BC Canada. A big benefit of the XP 3.0 is its ability to fold, which allows some people to put it in a SUV or large car trunk so they do not need a bike rack. I know someone who puts the bikes in a large ?Rubbermaid tote for travel and prefers it to bike racks.
I have not had a chance to try the Mesa Plus but it appears the main benefit would be a larger bike frame, and a larger motor with a claimed 750W motor. But no folding for this bike so a bike rack is a must, or if you have a pickup truck.
I have ridden bikes similar to this, and it would perform well for light offroad use, probably very similar in capability as they both have plus size tires and only front suspension. but the larger wheel size may be easier to travel through some terrain.

Thank you!! I ended up buying 2 of the electric 3.0 for me and my wife. I wanted a trusted company and love the folding capabilities.

I have heard you can adjust the bike so it will go faster, up to 28 mph. But for me, if I want to go that fast I’ll ride my motorcycle. I’m looking for something to help on the hills 😁 my 60yr old knees are looking for a little help 🙂. Great review.

Thanks for the reply! Sorry for the delay in replying to your comment. I must have missed it. You are 100% correct, the bike can be adjusted to reach a top speed of 28Mph (45km/h) using the pedal assist. The throttle is limited to 20Mph (approx 32 km/h)
The bike offered a good level of assistance on hills, so it is definitely a knee-saver!
Thanks for watching I appreciate it!
