Really really nice build. That green tinted lacquer is a stuner. I ended up going for the ADH myself, and that's the right one for me, but that ADH 'paint' is great. The X is a fantastic mixed roads sort of bike. Interestingly, your reasoning for the X was very similar to what I like about mine: I just *like it.* There's faster, more aero, whatever. I just like the way the Time comes togehter. The geo works very well for me.
The Green is really nice! It is such a nice bike to ride. I plan on doing a 500 or maybe a 1000 mile follow up vid focusing more on what it is like to ride.
@@oldguyandabike solid choice of components. I think Chorus, 105 and Rivals are the best for the majority of non-racing riders, even on the Sunday best dress, cafe rides. But I can feel the pull to YOLO!

The ADHX pedals with more response than the Turner A.R.Ti and yet also rides slightly better. Some of that is the fork. That Enve is hella stiff. So the ADHX45 might be amazing...or not. It looks like, geometry wise, a race gravel bike.
which size did you end up with in the end and can you say more about the geometry? Is it race bike or more like a do it all bike? I'm 5'9''with an inseam slightly less then 34'' and feel like an S is too low but an M too long .
@@EasySteve-vi6yz I ended up with a LG. I am a bit of a tweener in sizing. My legs are not that long for my 6’2” body. But there is a story here. Based on past bikes I have my reach and stack numbers memorized. So the stack that most made sense was an XL. And that is what I ordered. But I also was wrestling with adapting to a lower stack for road. I have some upper back issues that limit flexibility so it was a concern. But I ran the numbers and it seemed I could make the stack work with the LG. I also was concerned about having to bring the reach in on the XL with a short stem and that is a mistake IMO for a road bike, even with the moderate angles this has. So in the end I have 10mm less that full steerer length and a 100mm stem which drives nicely with the 72.5 HT angle. I plan to talk more about the handling g next time when I have more miles on it. I find it a good combo of agile and stable. It takes just a bit more to turn off center for fast corners but sone of that is a bigger tire. If you are used to shorter and steeper road bikes then this might feel drowsy. But as endurance bikes go? It’s a nice feel.
Thanks for the vid. My ADHX build came in at 18 pounds (size small frame, FFWD Riot wheels). I'm kind of a weight weenie because I like to climb a great deal, but to that point weight savings on real nice bikes comes by reducing the amount of CF used in production (and fragile expensive components). Ergo, a frame more likely to fail, especially on all the variable gravel things that happen. Not this thing - stiff and strong AF, and between that and the aggressive geometry, climbs (and descends) like a dream.
I figure that Force would trim about 3/4 pound. So that would be a solid 18 pounds in a LG frame, and for an All Road frame and fork, that works for me. Yeah, I love climbing on this thing. I enjoy climbing, so that is important to me.
mine is 18.5 with selle italia cross saddle, xtr pedals, grx di2 2x, grx wheels with 34c corsa pro controls, zipp bottle cages, computer mount. it's like a pound more with the stock hed wheels with 35c stock schwalbe. I got a medium in white I want to do a video about it but I am too lazy haha. this thing handles unbelievably well, it feels like cheating

I was not certain on final stem length/height, etc, so I left juuuust a bit of wiggle room. I really like the semi-integrated approach. Sleek and workable for the average home mechanic. gg
@oldguyandabike Thank you for the nice video. I have a question about the Enduro headset bearings they sent you. Maybe you still have the that box as well. I know that the Deda bearings that are delivered with the frame do a have a thickness of 8 mm but I cannot find those on the Enduro bearings website. Maybe you can shed a little light on this. Or did you end up not using them as they did not fit?
I could not use the Enduro ones. I do not remember the exact dimensions but there are two standards that are like 1mm different in OD and the Enduro ones were the larger size then OE from Time. I suppose I could have tapped them in but when your bike is carbon…. Time said I should not do it so I did not. gg
@oldguyandabike Great UA-cam video. It was enough for me to complete my thinking and buy the TIME ADHX Amber frameset. I'm building it up with 1x12spd SRAM Force and LightBicycle Wheelsets. Just a quick question to confirm the selection of BB assembly. The TIME website states that the frame shell is BB386. I bought a BB86/92-dub BB assembly to suit the 29mm SRAM DUB Spindle. However the BB assembly outside diameter I bought is 41mm but the frame shell cavity is larger at 46mm. Did you find that difference? Which Enduro bearing assembly did you purchase? Thanks Mike
You are a lucky guy! I kept the BB box for small parts. It says BB386 to DUB Adapt TorqTite XD15 (optional ceramics) BB kit black BKC-0899. I am still loving this bike, buy the way. No regrets. gg

@@oldguyandabike I look forward to it. I was at first not even considering the ADHX for a road bike because of the way they market it. But the more I researched it, the more I realized it is really just the ADH with a more tire clearance. I don't think I will ride it much until the Spring, as the roads this time of year outside of Boston can get a mess. I will stick with my steel gravel bike for cold winter rides.
@@anthonydelapa the geometry is quite different over the ADH. BB drop, CS length, etc. it adds up. But unless the rider is expecting a very aggressive and sharp type of ride experience, I think the ADHX is a great choice. It is after all made in that endurance vein.
Oh yeah. I understand the tools are for a T47 BB. Check with enduro bearing as you really need a good fitting tool for it. T47 does not give you much material to grab on to.

I have the same model. I'm very happy with it. It is my 2nd Time and they are both the best riding bikes I have ever rode.
