American cities always come off very well on night videos. European cities do not have large skylines usually, and a downtown area that is not very good accessible by car. I still remember that awesome Atlanta nighttime video. Nice music by the way, I only knew the "19" song from Paul Hardcastle.
I was surprised with Cincinnati, very underrated city. Very unlike Cleveland, which I was not expecting. Locals were also very friendly, friendlier than most cities I've been to.
Wonderful video! The history behind the John Roebling Suspension bridge is interesting. More or less the fact that the man who designed it, was also the same person who later designed the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City. This may be a "state the obvious" kind of fact, but the Roebling bridge was built so that New York City officials could see that Mr. Roebling could built a quality bridge to span the East River. I definitely love Cincinnati though.
Atlanta is not bad at all....it all depends on what's important to you in a city. Every city has dumpy parts. I've been to 40 states, Atlanta is one of the nicest cities in the country from an architectural standpoint, very modern and clean for the most part.
@0marigolds: Thank you much! Yes, I love the xylophone in this song too. Nothing resembling this music was playing on XM when we were filming though :)
@prfsnlwannabe -Cincy does remind me of Pittsburgh, probably a closer comparison than any other city I've seen. Cincy is a heck of a lot easier to get around but Pittsburgh has more of a "wow" factor. Have seen all the cities you mentioned I say Pittsburgh is the one to see, it's so unique, Cincy would be 2nd.
@0marigolds: No special effect, that's probably due to the fact the windshield is not as clean as it should be. That same dynamic also may have caused the camera to lose focus at times, I had twice this much street footage that is unusable due to that.
@prfsnlwannabe -I give Pittsburgh the nod for Mt. Washington 9awesome views) and it has a much better Skyline than Cincy does, but yeah, it is a Bee-Yatch to get around that place.
This video needs updated. I'm from cincy and I drive these routes almost daily. Downtown city life has really picked up over the last 2 years. Over the Rhine and between the stadiums/riverfront have gone through extreme transformations. Cincinnati is becoming a hot spot.
@@willsmith589 Cincinnati is absolutely nothing like NYC. I'm from the Northeast, currently living 30ish minutes outside Cincy. The city is a ghost town. Barely anyone walking or driving around. Public transport is practically non-existent, so you need a car to get anywhere. Everything closes by 11pm at the latest. Cincinnati is a city that was dying for 60 years, and is desperately clinging to life. I hope things continue to improve, because the natives love their city. But it can't even be compared to places like Pittsburgh PA or Newark NJ, let alone New York City.
I did not see the question, nor do I know what other video you are talking about, but look in the credts, plus in most cases I mention the song in the body of the video.
I really enjoyed walking downtown Cincinnati back in 1978. Those were the good days❤💯👍

Beautiful town, beautiful music
This city looks awesome the more I learn about it. I've been fascinated in moving to Ohio. I'm looking here, Dayton, Akron and Columbus.

Paul Hardcastle on the streets at night.....exquisite!
Thank you! I also used him in the beach town of Santa Cruz, CA 13-26 California Coast #1 of 4: There's No Cruz Like Santa Cruz
I'm watching all of your videos from the beginning when I get time.Very relaxing.I'm wondering what you have planned for 2014?
Asianorama Thank you....not sure where I'm going this summer, will probably do some new Atlanta videos with my new gear in addition.
@bigmotionpic Thanks!

Is Cincinnati a good city to settle?
Luis Ramírez depends on what your looking for. Alot of people call cincinnati a miniature NYC.
Thanks. I'm looking for something affordable with that big city feeling.

@Bryant5493: Thanks Bryant, Obviously those poor horses aren't safe on Atlanta streets anymore :)

"Marima" by Paul Hardcastle, it's listed in the closing credits.
+Freewayjim thanks what about the other video i messaged on
I did not see the question, nor do I know what other video you are talking about, but look in the credts, plus in most cases I mention the song in the body of the video.
Damn, looks like New York City, minus the horrific traffic and gridlock.
Yeah we had movies shot here as a decoy to New York
I'll be honest, I do not know the area well enough to have known that, not from Cincy, just visiting.
im from the outer edge of cincinnati and honestly hate going in the city part
im from cincinnati and it's to many one way streets
How bad is Atlanta? And I thought Pittsburgh was a dump!
hell naw cincinnnati is the coolest
Sorry, Atlanta is much nicer than this, especially Midtown and Buckhead.
