A little child is playing with his toys in his room, when his dad arrives clearly intoxicated. The child, knowing full well what would follow, is trying to hide in the closet in a hopeless attempt to avoid abuse. His dad inevitably finds him.

I experienced this but I live with my grandpa and he got drunk once and he abused me when I was younger and he used to beat me with his cane and bruise me in unnatural spots and I even used to get sent to school both from what happend at home and one day the teacher pointed out a bruise on an unnatural spot and she asked me what happend and I said nothing because I did not wanna spoil the secret to anyone but myself :(

its crazy how much more intense the feeling is after having a child of your own. i mean everything i was aware of happening to children was always upsetting but now when you have your own to think about its so much more aggressive.
