The amount of time this man spends on his backside to deliver true range tests is phenomenal 😆. *Not all seats are created equal, so I commend you sir !
I haven't rode an E-bike I didn't like. They're all fun. Most of them seem to have a lot of the same bells and whistles made by the same manufacturer.... just slight shape differences. I love riding mine to get the wife groceries, do my banking, trips to dentist and so on....pennies to charge.... and the car & truck stay put.
Another great video. Found your channel about a week ago. Binge watching ALL of your videos. Waiting on the delivery this week of my first ebike. Your videos are so well done.
In the U.K. we’re kinda restricted by what we can have but I modified an Engwe Engine X to 50ah. Did a range test did 50miles and nearly another 30 miles and still had a bit left in the tank … level PAS5, I’m 250lb and was carrying a 15lb pack. Can get about 28mph out of it top speed, folds up for the car etc. Love your stuff buddy. Inspires me to do more.
In my opinion, the sweep of the handle bars is more important than the height of the bar, when comes to comfort. Most BMX bars have very little sweep, giving a more aggressive riding position, or less comfortable. Though I do prefer the looks of BMX bars. Great video.
Digging the great video AND once again...super informative! I love my Fabulous AWD Warrior...that I purchased based on your outstanding videos. In fact...going to cut the grass and go for a ride!
Nice Bike. I like the style and 60v batteries. You should try the top speed and hill climb with a single battery to see if it makes a difference with less battery weight.
As always very informative entertaining to watch you do something you have passion for and I do dig this bike and would put luggage compartment on the back of the bike I'm a motorcycle dude at heart I don't ride anymore this bike would spark up a lot of great time riding and look forward to the next video.
105 lbs is surprisingly light for an ebike like this. I have an electric scooter, which is much smaller with 10 inch wheels and it weights about 95 lbs
Can you recommend a fast ebike for a 5'4" tall 15.5 year old boy who wants full throttle riding. He likes fast and long range. He does both city riding and off roading. Hoping to keep him safe but able to have fun as well. Thanks
This video is loaded with useful information about the Fabulous Shadow! Nice to see more 60 volt bikes being added. I'm waiting for the AR Grizzly to increase the voltage on 2024 for 40 mph.
Great review. I tried that discount code yesterday and today, but the code doesn't work. The site doesn't say it's out of stock though. Anyway, I appreciate you showing your wife on the bike because I am the same height as she is, but I'm afraid I have a shorter inseam than her and she's kind of tiptoeing on the bike. My inseam is about 28 inches. I hope she's the same for my sake because I'm interested in this bike. LOL. Their website says min to max seat height is 30" to 32" even though you mentioned higher seat heights.
You will need to go to the USA website. Fab-usa.com They're in stock for USA and it looks like there's some left. My wife is 5' 4" And I would say that she has short legs. The seat is definitely at least 32 inches even at its shortest spot.
You need a strong frame with two batteries with a step through design. The step through bikes suffer from frame flex. Juiced bikes has cadence and torque sensing. Honestly the bike shadows the Juiced Hyper Scorpion. Remember the Hyper Scorpion. Juiced bikes changed the industry with the Hyper Scorpion. Tora gets a bad rap due to getting the bike out just when the pandemic hit. They are putting another version out next year. Hope they don’t cut corners this time and do it right.
Might be nice if they did the dual 750's on that one also. Maybe one day. Add ability for people to get it registered as a moped if they go with a faster dual hub set up.
Yeah, I contacted Fabulous and yes dual 750 motors are coming in 2024. I really like the look and wish the seat could be adjusted in some way so peddling option would be more than looks. Really like that you noticed the wires expose at bottom. That will show wear & tear a year or two down the road. I hope fabulous fixes that with the dual motor model😅
@@Jim-xl4pd I put a skid plate on my bike. Was from another company but fit right on nice. Some companies have spacers or tall seats for what you were talking about.. Leg extension.
Seems like a better version of the juiced ebike. I do wish the rear motor was more powerful because then it would be a true rival to the wired freedom. Also, the logos are an eyesore you definitely need to wrap the bike so it looks better
i was super hyped for this bike until i see the wires coming out the bottom.. all inside would have been perfect with that little door at the bottom with a seal for maintenance only. they could have round it out instead of square.
😱 Red & Black, Red shocks...like the OG V2 Grizzly... 60v 1000w x2 Shadow Kinda eSucks next to the 52v Grizzly. 105lbs = same weight. What's the top flat speed❓️ How's the Hill Climb acceleration❓️ How long do we have to wait the split screen comparison❓️ Does Dad like the Grizzly or Shadow❓️ 🖖🤙😉
I've owned electric stand-up scooters and only dual motor. I'm want a more enjoyable experience and am interested in purchasing my first ebike. I'd like ani, ebike that's comfortable, easy to work on, find parts for, and has a long range. I'm not so sure about a single motor ebike, however. I was looking at the Ariel X52 step through or thekr Grizzly. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Not a bad bike but way overpriced. X-Class performance for $800 more ($500 more with your code). You could buy a second battery for the X-class and have even more range. There has been a lot of competition in the X-class/Super 73 arena. There are too many other more attractive options, imo. Great review, though.
Another great bike from fabulous 😊

Wow, it looks great in person. The pics on the website do not do this beauty justice! Great job Fabulous, once again.

Another great e-bike review. Love it!

Ugh the Wired Freedom has spoiled me. Only a 28 amp controller 😢.
Early video, great review love seeing your wife. Not peddler great miles.

This is a nice bike. I like this one a lot!
Looks like the Juiced Hyper Scorpion I have which is a great moped style bike! Great review……like always.

Grab bar on back is cool. Good for short 2 people rides for passengers to hold on.
Excellent review. Thanks.
That Hyper Scorpion by Juiced I liked. This seems to be pretty close to that moped style. No blinkers or mirrors though up front.

Fabulous should have put a 60ah battery in that bike to compete with Aniioki pro8. Great content as always mr. citizen!
U got a good channel. A lot of good bikes..and well made videos. I can see it getting much larger. The beginning citizencycle logo looks cheap tho
Thanks and yes, I've been thinking of upgrading my intro 😁

Great video looks like a sweet bike. As a wired owner I do wish that display had a clock. Ty for video!
That's a bike that shines in the shadows! I'd like another 1000w front motor. Are the batteries the same, they don't look interchangeable?
the batteries are the same size but they attach to the bike differently and are not interchangeable.
10:24 Clouds cut in half.
Great vid! What about IP rating? I’m looking for a Canadian winter bike with possibility of towing a tiny tiny home 🤪 Thx! 🙂🙏

Are you sure it was completely unlocked? I would have expected a bit more from a 60v system.
The controller is only 28 amps. That's on the small side. 28 amps x 60 volts is only 1,780 watts. Plus, it's on the heavy side.
I like what chinese e bike bring on market. How are these chinese ebikes compared with bigger brands like Merida, Scott ebikes with mid motor?
I've owned electric stand-up scooters and only dual motor. I'm want a more enjoyable experience and am interested in purchasing my first ebike. Nice bike Q: will there be a UK VERSION 250w
You could zip tie a milk crate on the back of the rack.
If you wanted to put a second motor in the front, would you use another rear wheel or just go to a spoked wheel?
They said the minimum seat height is 30 inches. Since you tested it out, can a 5 feet 1 inch person ride this? Thanks
I think 5'1" would struggle a bit, when sitting on the seat i bet they would be on their tip toes. its nearly 33inche seat height.
I feel like it should be faster can you unlock it or is it because of the controller?
Are you able to change settings to make the bike go faster?
@@lianjb5395 I had the settings maxed out
Looks like a tamer version of a Grizzly and an X-Class step thru combined
This bike is a badass rides super smooth and super fast I have dual motor version called reaper its freaking awesome 👍😎
How many miles before the tires wear out? How much cost for new ones?
i would say less than a 1000 miles before you need to change and tires are $40-$70 per tire depending on the brand.
Where’s the link? 😮
They should delete the pedals and everything that goes with them and put pegs on it would be more comfortable and lighter and look a lot better
Not road legal. That being said lines at constantly crossed and blurred .
What's the price point on this
currently $2399

Need recommendations please
SHADOW300 is not a valid code???
are you on the USA website? should be working
Downhill speeds don't mean anything. It's a meanless number as gravity is helping give the bike faster speeds. Why do you even post these numbers?
doing a speed run downhill allows me to see what mph the motor cuts out or stops assisting.
Why did it say you were in lvl 2 While you were riding?
I have it programmed so the throttle gives full power no matter what pedal assist level i am in.
