Still by far the best bike reviews in the world.....😊

The pedal assist looks the same as the Wired bikes which also engage quickly and deliver a steady wattage which is not surprising since they use the same display. Really the best system imo for high power bikes. The surging from a torque sensor makes the high power bikes unrideable, at least the one I tried. I really like Fabulous going with the smaller tires and the 52v system and large battery. The bike should appeal to a wide audience and would be my choice over a Magicycle Ocelot for a bike for the wife if the price was right. Not a lot of competition in the 24 inch tire so they stand out in a crowded market.

Great review. The route 66 seems like a hidden gem as it's not yet on their website. Hope it comes out soon. I love the color scheme, very sexy looking bike. Fantastic speed for 750w. Interesting tire size, kind of in between but looks perfect for cruising. Also love the idea of the torque sensor. Fabulous is simply fabulous 😊

Hey Bryan, another great review! I've had this bike 3 weeks and loving it! Just want to point something out about the P3 setting. If you leave it at zero its great for controlling your speed in a setting like a greenway with a shared bike path where you may want to keep speed around 22kmh at full throttle in PAS 2. THEN, If you want a sudden burst of speed, all you have to do, is keep the throttle wide open and start peddling! As soon as the pedals begin turning, you'll instantly have 100% throttle power. Try it, no gear changing, no change in PAS setting, just start peddling!

I am often on the old route 66 in Springfield, Missouri. I think this bike matches the route 66 vibe very well. It looks kind of old-fashioned but stylish like a classic car.
The 24x3 tires look good. They should help provide excellent range with the big 1040wh battery.
    I like it.

The bikes are looking great, very well built, competitive in the price range. BUT, they need to work on the website its garbage and outdated. Also, the social media presence... facebook page looks dead. It scares the buyers away thinking that the company is dead. They need to hire more people to handle that side of the business.

Been waiting for this bike. Have a Solterra with 5K miles on it. The 20 inches are a little small and the big power full size are kinda big. This is the sweet spot. Great review as always.

I noticed the wheel is a wider fat tire type, in the past companies were putting 3 inch tires on a 1 to 2 inch wide rim, that would cause, snake bite, flats. I really like the wider rim, so the tire doesn't over hang the rim.
What is the width of that rim?

Excellent review as usual, and the bike seems like it will fit a pretty wide range of rider heights. I'm glad SOMEONE figured how to put trigger shift on a bike without moving the throttle to the wrong side. I have a cadence sensor that's faster than a torque sensor. It requires about a quarter turn on startup, just like this bike. But when already pedaling, the motor engagement meshes with the instant you feel resistance in the pedals, and it feels very natural that way. I don't know why manufacturers don't setup their bikes this way, but perhaps most controllers don't have those settings.
I would have changed the throttle setting exactly like you did. Every time I come across a bike with the throttle limited by the PAS, I remember the time a drunk driver was careening though a parking lot straight towards me. I twisted the throttle and got full power, moving out of the way in time. If my throttle had been limited, I would have been hit. The bike is a very nice color, and that 'bridge' between the seat tube and the main tube adds a lot of strength. Nice performance numbers, so I'm sure many owners will be happy with this. When I saw the four attachments together, the first thing I thought was "Battery!"

    Love your videos Bryan!
Trying to decide between twist throttle and thumb throttle,
I find the walk mode way too fast and instead use the thumb throttle on left side to go the speed I walk.
Walking on left side I think it would be hard to reach the twist throttle on right side....
Has anyone found a way to slow Walking mode or been able to reach twist throttle from left side of bike?
    Thanks all!!

Talk a bit more about the ghost-pedaling please. I've found regarding torque sensor vs cadence sensor that I prefer cadence, because at my age my legs are not as strong as they were 50 years ago. However, if you are saying this system on Fabulous provides max thrust even when ghost pedaling, I may say this system tops BOTH of the others. I'm not concerned by instant response, I want max output from the drive system with less stress on my legs. Watching this review, my only complaint is the welding appearance on the frame not being smooth.
My Aventon 2 frame has no ripples. Did you mention price, or did I miss it? Their website prices are in Canadian dollars, and I didn't find a Route 66 on it.

Is Fabulous going out of business?
Since your review is featured on the Fabulous/Furious website, I figured you should know this. My personal experience with Lampro has been extremely disappointing, to say the least. Also interesting is that they list TWO addresses for their business, both Montreal and Quebec.

    • @jimmyjames8736
      @jimmyjames8736 Рік тому +1

I think the online ebike market has so many different brands trying to pop up and get a piece of the action that it should be assumed that most of them will not be around very long. Pexmor is likely in that category.
If you want the best chance of getting a bike from a company that will stay in business, then more established and popular ebike brands may be a better option for you.
Fabulous is likely to have staying power and not have their bikes become orphans. Same thing with other brands like Aventon, Lectric, Radpower, and Biktrix.
I just think that out of the hundreds of current ebike makers, only dozens are likely to survive. And, the bargain basement sector that Pexmor is targeting will be especially difficult.
