#HorrorForHyles IS HERE!!! 2014 was an AWESOME time for my channel, because I was getting to try new things, and see what worked for everyone! Now, it's 2015 and I get to do it all over again ^_^ Except this time, I have a much better focus on what I'm going to be bringing to y'all! #HorrorForHyles is probably my favorite themed event of the year. And it's not just because it's my birth month :P I get to tap into one of my favorite all time genres, HORROR!! I hope y'all will enjoy what I got in store for you this year :D It will be glorious!
The latest track for #HorrorForHyles2015 comes from the ever-terrifying video game series, Silent Hill! Now, I know SH4 gets a lot of hate, but it's honestly one of the most psychologically, mind-bending experiences I've ever experienced. Remove the awful combat, repetitive puzzles, and painfully bad voice acting, and you have an AMAZING Silent Hill story. I adore this song, and I had the pleasure of meeting the wonderful lady who sang the original! I hope I captured her essence even if just a little :P Stay tuned for more #HorrorForHyles!!

I can't believe I'm just discovering this now. Room of Angel has always been one of my favorite pieces of music from the Silent Hill series. It's interesting to hear it performed in a male voice. Caleb, this is simply beautiful, and just as haunting as the original.
If not more, lol. He is very talented and I think it would be wonderful to hear him do a duet with Mary Elizabeth McGlynn. Sadly it will probably never happen but still a good Hyle's gem in my opinion.
Finally a proper male version of this song! Love it! :D
For some reason Room of Angel is something I'd imagine Norman Bates singing to his mother's corpse after he killed her.

I think the lyrics symbolize Walter to his mother, but it could be to anyone. Anyone you loved but rejected you. It could even be to ourselves, if we have self conflicts. But of course, it is a sad song with hate and sorrow, and it fits Walter perfectly.

I swear, no matter how many times I hear this song, I always get massive chills when it comes on. I always think of that moment in the subway where Henry finds Cynthia in a pool of blood, and she cries out how she's scared and that she thinks she's dying. Incredible job, man, you did a great job keeping the haunting tone to the song and it sounded beautiful!
I don't believe I ever gave you credit for how much I love this cover, but I love it a lot since it captures the feeling I feel towards my dad at times. First time I ever listen to this I pretty much broke down from crying, but now I just see the truth in it.
