Your the absolute best!!! That's why I'm watching another air fryer burger video!! YOU have the Best Ninja foodi videos and recipes in Cyber space!! That's my opinion. Man so true on the buns!!!! I always learn much more with your videos.
Thanks for the tip on adding seasoning after the patties are shaped. I have always done it as I was shaping the patties. I think it really makes a difference
Louise, I tried your method and it worked out great! I did season the meat and they tasted so good. No hockey pucks with this recipe. I did wait to flip the first side for 7 minutes. Also, I melted the cheese with just the lid down for a minute. Thanks for great recipes and ideas! Still using the original Foodi, but not disappointed.
Ohhh Louise, I must remember not to watch your videos in the middle of the night/very early morning! My mouth is watering and I don’t have the wherewithal to make those delicious burgers!
Hi Louise, Caz from the UK here made quite a few of your recipes now and all amazing especially the Chicken Alfredo. Want to do these too but which burger press are you using? Keep up the fantastic work love you x
I use a press from Pampered Chef, but I don't think you can get that one. I would look to see what is available on Amazon and pick one with good ratings. Enjoy!
I'm from the UK, and always trust Americans when it comes to cooking meat and burgers! 🙂😂 👏 This was great, I do make my own burgers, but it's hard to judge the cooking times. I always like the science behind food and cookery and I found this interesting. I never season my beef with salt *until* just before putting it in the oven/pan, as it dries it out, but I always did with the mince (ground beef or burger meat, I think you call it), by mixing salt, pepper, diced onions and other seasonings with the mince, and I never questioned it, until you mentioned it and it's obvious now! I only just got my ninja yesterday, and I am really going to try this. My OH loves burgers.
Seasoning whole cuts of meat prior to cooking will give it more flavor and the surface drying out a bit is a good thing. Maybe try that one time and see how you like it.
Hello I have to tell you! I was browsing UA-cam and came across your video on cooking frozen steak in an air fryer. I have the fryer just like yours and i tried a steak for lunch today.( I know lol) All I can say is WOW!! The steak was perfect!!! I am sooo happy that i can cook a frozen steak without having to wait for them to defrost. Thank you very much for the awesome tip! You just got a new subscriber!! Take care!!!
Ground beef is defined by primal cuts and fillings, basically any meat on the cow (not to include the legs, head, or tail) and fat thrown in to be ground. Lol sounds yucky, but this is what I remember as I had a relative that worked for the USDA many years ago.
Simple, yet delicious! I notice in videos of the new air fryer model the whiney fan/motor noise is constantly going up and down, I notice it in this video as well. Is it at all distracting or concerning? The only time I remember hearing a whine like that was a pedestal fan which had voltage/electrical issues.
What a great idea, I never thought to cook my burgers in my ninja AirFryer. Looks so much easier then lighting the grill and waiting for it to get hot. Only thing is I like my burgers to MOO! Lol. I guess I’d have to play around with the time.
Love how animated you are🤗 “Don’t bring no weak bun game! That dog don’t hunt!”🥰 Nobody wants to lick ga Rees say condiments off their fingas!!! Haha! Thank you for yet another informative, fun and uplifting class🤗 Now I’m off to order my burger press. 🍔 Blessings ❣️
I'm glad that you are using this new version of the Ninja Foodi for your videos now. It would be nice to see some videos on how to make bread in it, as i remember that you had mentioned that it was better to do it in this model than the previous... Perhaps i remember wrong, but i believe that it was when you discussed the 'game-changing' features it had. Also, i have a question about the new model(s). Is the sear/sautè function more powerful in this? Is it more feasible to brown meat in this than the previous models?
I've been testing bread recipes and still perfecting it. I'm going for a French Bread that is chewy with lots of air holes and where the dough isn't too hard to work with.
tried what you did and they turned out the best I've had in the Ninja, was always going on higher temp but at 375 and 5 min's a side turned out perfect, very juicy and not over cooked, thank you for the tips
Love your content! Would you share the hamburger press you use that makes the dimple? Not assuming it’s still available, but had to ask. Didn’t see it in the description. I went to Amazon, but of course there’s 900,000 hamburger presses. I’m sure all would ‘work,’ but I like the style that you’re using because it shapes in addition to pressing. Thank you.
Hmmmmm the buns in the air fryer.....genius, I'm trying that. I just bought my first air fryer today. So far all I've made is fries. IMO the fries were a step down, or so from deep frying, but better than the oven. But I am diggin the calorie savings.

Hi Louise! Thanks again for your great recipes. This may be what’s for dinner tonight. I have some prime rib patties I bought fresh @ Sam’s Club in the freezer I will thaw out. I’ve been wondering if a little water and liquid smoke in the insert would make them taste like they were cooked on a conventional outdoor grill. Would that create too much steam and cause burger balls? Thank you!
I don't think the liquid smoke will do much in the water, but the water itself won't hurt anything. I also don't think the water is necessary. You can cook them right from frozen on air fry.
I'm not sure that would work because it would press them very thin unless you can control it. I know on mine it doesn't adjust for depth. Let me know if you try it though!

It is fine to cook with a covered pan inside the inner pot, however depending on what is inside the pan, steam could build and the cover could come off.
