I used to think her voice was too high pitched, but she’s very talented nonetheless! Her "This One Thing" song is my fave.

She’s like the female Arsenio. He had on many of the great R&B & hip hop artists during the late 80s to early 90s when they were coming out.

My favorite Amerie of all time is “ 1 Thing”. It’s something about that song that makes me feel good every time I listen to that song. It has such a summer time vibe to it 😊. Also, can’t deny the fact it’s a great song to dance 💃🏾 to either!

I met her at her concert, before the show. She was so gracious to me & my friend whom she allowed to come in & watch her do sound check. She talked to us, signed my CD & not to add she was so gorgeous in person stunning actually. I was a fan before but I absolutely LOVED HER after that. She was a lovely person to meet. My fellow Capricorn woman! ❤

I love that she did this. She’s been writing for years since Island Def Jam dropped her. A bulk of her music career was messed up because the label gave her style what she did musically to Beyoncé. Not starting no mess, just stating facts. I am still a fan thru and thru and will continue to be one. I will buy this book and read it to my niece when I have my uncle duties!!!!

That was NOT Amerie's sound. That was Richard Harrison and DC sounds. Also, BDay's biggest hit was Stargate's and Ne-Yo sound.

The first time I saw her I immediately knew she was Black and Korean like myself! And it wasn't the reason I fell in love with her music but it was definitely a plus! I still listen to her music, and sing her songs as i putter around the house! She has always been a class act, she along with Aaliyah, Faith Evans, Keke Wyatt, SZA, And many other great artists are ones i just adore!
