Interesting she's always used those waves in her music. Her album Mama's Gun helped heal my very troubled teenage mind growing up. ♥️ I was extremely lonely, isolated, and depressed, but I would put on my jasmine, light some incense, crack open a window to breathe fresh air and be lulled by her sounds.

LOVE HER!!! I remember seeing her in concert when I was 17( in '97), she was pregnant, carpets laid on the stage, she was amazing. Ive been a fan ever since. Love her spiritual evolution, its inspirational.
I bought Baduism the summer of 97 and there began our love-affair. She is wildly important to me.
I feel the same way about getting to see Sade live in concert back in 2012 in Miami.

Erykah Badu is one of those very well known, very well respected artists that you know and hear about but never really bothered to get into or know more about them. I’ve of course heard some of her music and gotten an idea of who she was but really seeing more is so cool. I love little intimate videos like this about artists. She really couldn’t be more herself and I absolutely love it.

What is a doula in your world? In my side of the globe (SEA) doulas are midwives who does things traditionally (yes, spells to ease childbirth etc) and handle other issues/problems faced by women only.. is it the same there?
