I love seeing parents support children. I really feel like we all come with talents but some parents don’t foster those natural talents in children. So proud of the mom for seeing her daughter and giving her the support that she needed❤
Its because they allow schools to DICTATE what their child is good at based off school grades. When infact, we are born with individual talents, they aren't taught at schools.
Brooke's mother needs to be commended in nurturing her daughter's dream. Her grandmother's patience and encouragement is what children need. Here is a positive role model for young black children.

I had a friend whose daughter used to design clothes for dolls when she was in elementary school. She's now a college graduate and nothing has to do with clothing designing. Her dad is an architect. A lot of things are in our DNA. I am glad her mom helps mold that little fashion designer. My mom didn't but my paternal grandmothers helped me with my creativity.

This teared me up when my sister sent me this video, because I had enrolled my 6 year old in sewing class and was wondering if she was too young , but I was encouraged my her instructor that she was not, because her daughter stared sewing at 4, so I’m also happy to see this young lady making history. 😮 👏🏽 My daughter started showing similar signs, whenever she got dress she would switch up her clothes and show me how many different ways she can wear it or how it could’ve been designed differently. I was in awe that she kept doing this, so I started taking pics of her and I got her first kiddie sewing machine with the intent of her learning how to sew, so she can make and design her Barbie clothes for her and her friends and eventually she would decide see if she desire to take it further. I thought even if she didn’t become a designer but it would be a great life long skill to have. This was so encouraging to watch and couldn’t wait to share this video with my baby girl. ❤ She loves sewing class and I cannot wait to see where it takes her!

I was deeply moved and even shed tears just now. I'm grateful to her grandmother for teaching her sewing. It reminded me of my childhood when I had a strong passion for drawing, but my father discouraged me, saying that drawing would be useless in the future. It's very worthy that each parent support kids' dreams or passions.
