- My first ever beef welly 🥹👌 How do you think I did?
My New Year’s resolution is to start challenging myself to cook things I’ve never made before at least once a month! This is important to continue challenging myself as a chef, help me learn about different techniques/cultures and also just have some fun. 🤪
First up on my list had to be taking on the famous Beef Wellington - a dish made popular by the one an only @GordonRamsey. The dish is made by searing off a center cut filet mignon (known as the Chateaubriand,) brushing it with mustard and then rolling it up with mushroom duxcelle, prosciutto, herb crepes and puff pastry. Timing is the name of the game here to make sure the beef is cooked properly and the outside is golden brown & crispy (NOT soggy.)
While relying on culinary skills is very important for this recipe, you also need to have great equipment and HexClad is the top of the line! The amazing hybrid cookware and ultra sharp damascus steel knives gave me the tools to succeed. With ONE pan, I was able to get a beautiful deep golden brown sear on my filet and then make ultra delicate thin crepes!! Literally a two in one pan (stainless & nonstick) that is light, easy to clean and has a lifetime warranty!! 👏

I'm so jealous. I've never tried this, but have wanted to for a long time, & it looks SO good. 😭 I can't afford to make something like that, but maybe one day.

Hope ya realize how privileged an fortunate u are because frankly a lot of people couldn’t afford a lot of the food ya are able to eat an make but also to be able to do all the things u are able to ! Because frankly there are hella people starving at this very moment so count yo blessings fr fr! Speaking as someone struggling hella u could always be in a way way worse position like millions of people have to experience each moment of every day ! Frankly ur very privileged to be in the position u are because ik hella people who would do a lot just to have ur smile on their face, because many in this life don’t even get to do that in this world!
Yes she is privileged but this is also her job. Remember that everyone has some form of privilege. Yes she should be grateful, but it’s also not shocking she’d invest her money in cooking higher end dishes when that’s what she does for a living and it’s quite literally her business.
@@MadisonM1 I very much disagree that everyone has some form of privilege because clearly you’ve never been to a third world country or anywhere on this planet that has individuals who are struggling more then you’d ever be able to fathom for even 24hrs yet they are living it every second of every day, everyone on earth dosent have some form of privilege because the reality is only a certain percentage actually get the ability to have the opportunity to do stuff like she gets to, or buy the high end foods witch cost more then peoples rent at times with how much in bulk she is able to cook, yes this is her job. BUT PLEASE DO NOT act like everyone has the ability and opportunity to do the things that she is able to because the reality is only about 5-1 % of the population actually are. Hope u are able to grow up an realize not everyone gets a good situation that’s the real world this isn’t a we get all sunshine and rainbows type of world, their are people who are starving at this very moment ur watching her put together a meal that could feed a whole family of those struggling !
