Leafs don’t have the goaltending and a bad defense. GAA favors Boston big time. Leafs definitely outscore Boston every regular season overall in the standings but in the playoffs the Leafs freeze up. Boston has won 6 playoff series and Toronto 1. During the AM MM era.

To me, Boston is not the same team from 2018 & 2019 when they beat Toronto back to back in two 7 game series. Matthews was only 20 yrs old in 2019 & the insufferable Badcock was the coach. Boston was a Cup contender back then and in 2019 & went to the Cup final losing to St. Louis. The Bruins of today are not the same team & neither is Toronto. Assuming Samsonov is at least decent, I think Toronto wins in 6. We'll see very shortly & I hope McCowan is dead wrong.
