I made a batch of your coconut bon bone today, I froze them without the chocolate and have decided to dip them as needed. I did dip a few so my husband could try them out and I sent some home with my daughter, they're yummy and have the seal of approval from my kitchen, thank you for sharing with us.
Everything looks and sounds amazing. Thank you for all the recipes, especially the Buckeyes. Others talk about peanut butter balls, which I've never trusted, lol. I'm adding these to my list! 😊
OMG..you made my all time favorite Christmas Candy...Peanut butter buckeyes!! Im from OHIO and these are just so nostalgic for me. But all of them look delicous!! The coconut bon bon is like a better version of an almond joy bar!! great job
I just found your channel I just love your recipes I am making these bon bons for Christmas I hope you will make more of these on a new video with like pumpkin bon bons and some other flavors I like your video because you use almond bark and other wafers and thing I have on hand iam a big cook but candy and baking iam new at that and can you freeze the bon bons so I can make them before the holidays. Thank you☃️
Thank you Chef 🧑🏻🍳🧑🏻🍳🧑🏻🍳 This is the best recipe . !!! I had been making truffles , and I haven’t being successful at all . . The problem was the type of chocolate . I will buy the chocolate you used .
I love and made all three. Great tutorial. After they see is it best to leave the chocolate covered cherries at room temperature for the sofas to liquify?
Thanks for sharing! In the video you say a pound of butter for the buckeyes, but the recipe in the description says 1/2 pound. Just wondering which is correct before attempting. Thank you & Merry Christmas
@@ChefKristiThymetoCook the bonbons and buckeyes! DELICIOUS!!! My husband put the buckeyes on small cookie sheet and topped with melted chocolate… so more of a fudge turnout lol, we’re all loving them. I did use the 1 lb of butter and 5 1/2 c powdered sugar. Will know to decrease butter and increase sugar next time. Thanks so much for all your recipes!!!
Do you absolutely have to put the chopped nuts in the coconut candy? Can you leave them out and still have the same consistency of the dough when you make the candy?
Ive heard its best to let the chocolate covered cherries sit for like 8 to 10 days so the fondant would turn liquidy. Will these do that if you have enough patience to let them sit? Thank you
You posted that you used 6 1/2 cups of powdered sugar in the buckeyes instead of 5. I assumed to get the proper consistency. It would be very helpful if you would show & say what the mixture looked like.
They are fine to leave out for a couple of days but I do store mine in the refrigerator to keep them fresh until I package and deliver. Merry Christmas!
@@ChefKristiThymetoCook thank you. Do you remember whats it call cos i like to have one of them cos i want to make candy balls. For every one this christmas. May be i could look it up. So i can get me ome
With the buckeyes you don't need the vanilla it's make them too sweet and you put the Rice Krispies in LAST you mix it by hand so you want to keep the Rice Krispies from breaking up..
I made the chocolate covered cherries for Christmas and gave them out as gifts. They were a MAJOR hit. Thanks!!!
THANKS YOU GOODNESS 🌟 DAPHNE COTTON ALWAYS 💜, AWESOME

Hint... add rice crispy cereal to the Buckeye Balls. 😋 YUMMY
Good idea! Might have to try that! Thanks so much! 😊
My favorite way to make them!
How much does your stick of butter weigh? X😊
Hi!!!! Tried two recipes yesterday, taste great!!! BUT…. Couldn’t get them to form into balls, should I have added more powdered sugar?
Which ones did you try?

I’ve always made them with the nuts but I think you could just use coconut in place of the nuts.
where did you get that type of candy dipper please, thanks for the recipes
The candy dipper is from Pampered Chef.
thanks so much

About the buckeye how many stick is a pound ?
4 whole sticks for 1 lb of Butter
Thank you for showing 3 recipes in one video- I am going to make all 3 🤗 wishing you and your family a happy and healthy holiday season 🎄
You’re very welcome! So glad you are going to make them! Merry Christmas!
If you do not have butter could you use margarine?
Yes you can! Merry Christmas!
Ive heard its best to let the chocolate covered cherries sit for like 8 to 10 days so the fondant would turn liquidy. Will these do that if you have enough patience to let them sit? Thank you
I believe you have to add Invertase to the fondant to get it to liquify.
You posted that you used 6 1/2 cups of powdered sugar in the buckeyes instead of 5. I assumed to get the proper consistency. It would be very helpful if you would show & say what the mixture looked like.
The correct recipe is in the description box below 👇
Please tell me how many ounces are in a stick of butter so I can convert it to grams, thanks. Greetings from Sydney Australia
One stick of butter is 4 oz. and 113.40 grams. Thanks for watching!
@@ChefKristiThymetoCook Thank you
Can i print the recipes? or do i just need to write it as you go? I can't find where to print.
You can print them from my website.

Do these have to be refrigerated after they are dipped?
They are fine to leave out for a couple of days but I do store mine in the refrigerator to keep them fresh until I package and deliver. Merry Christmas!
What was candy spoon to dip the candy in the chocolate. Where can you get one from
I think I got it at Pampered Chef but not 100% sure.

@@rhondarenard7927 might be called candy dipper but I’m not sure. Sorry I can’t be of more help. I’ve had it for a very long time.
Check Amazon they always have anything one could think of.

Did you use a lb of butter? Recipe says 1/2 lb. Could you clarify?
The recipe in description box is correct. It calls for 1/2 pound of butter or 2 sticks. I had made a mistake in the video. Sorry for the confusion.
Its much to sweet.
I was raised up eating bonbon
Where may I find the kitchen utensil used for dipping the candy??????What is it called
These all look delicious but labor-intensive
Look delicious but please let’s cover bowls with a plate which can be washed and used again - cling film is very environmentally unfriendly.
Unhealthy
I don't like that you don't finish one recipe at a time.
