Helps to loosen the spark plugs while manually turning the engine crank. Makes it a lot easier.

Do you have the part number for the dust cover? The port hole to tight bolts..

Any spacing necessary? I installed a new converter and immediately I’ve got some metal rubbing noise upon start. Varying intensity.. I’m lost 😢

i tried for 20 minutes to get that nose to set back 3/4 still no success. cant believe i have to battle this again. quality over speed i guess.

Hey please I need someone give me a idea, what happened if you have your torque completely in the last position but every times you turned the crankshaft to tight the torque converter bolts the engine stuck while you turn it,please help me

If the hole is there should be no problem the only problem might be that hole is not in the center what I mean is hole is not lining up? Try to move one or the other just a little to line up I know sometimes it looks good but even small difference will not let you put bolt in. I know it's little late to give you advice (1 month) but I just saw you post I hope it helps?

any comment about code PO740 for this transmission? TC solenoid, wiring or torque converter itself? how to test. would be a shame to replace the converter and find out problem is electrical

Code #740 is torque converter clutch (EMCC) out of range/slip fault. This is right out of rebuild manual but if you ended up replacing torque converter I would suggest replacing one solenoid as well that's the one outside of valve body there is two of them they are not that expensive I would start by replacing this first it's less work and if that doesn't fix the problem then you know you have to replace torque converter that means transmission must come out ( by the way no joke that what (AAMCO) stands for ( All Automatic Must Come Out ) I was told by someone who worked for Aamco. If you didn't fix you transmisson yet reply to this and I have rebuild manual and if you need more information let me know?

Usually indicates the sensor is out of range of travel, which unfortunately usually means the TC clutch assembly has bottomed out and is worn out.

Could I use a multimeter to test the torque converter clutch solenoid?

@@jim9219771 you could check it for an open circuit on resistance setting. Would be better if you apply 12 volts at the bulk connector pins and listen for clicking tcc solenoid. I actually back probed the tcc solenoid at the main transmission connector with an oscilloscope and watched the pcm commanding with a pulse signal while a friend drove van up to highway speed. If command is there and tcc solenoid clicks on a voltage test you have a worn torque converter clutch

@@jim9219771 pin 10 is the 12 volt signal source from the main pcm and pin 3 is the tcc solenoid so use these 2 pins for you checks
