    In my opinion the best bang for the buck is the Suzuki King Quad 750, reliability on par with Honda but with plenty of power.

    We still have a 2007 Grizzly 700 that is running strong. It's worth noting that Yamaha really changed the game with this machine, as the 2007 model was the first mass-produced ATV that offered electronic power steering. It took a few years for the others to catch up, but you rarely see a 4-wheeler of this size without EPS now. Oh, and by the way, the factory battery on our Grizzly lasted for 14 YEARS! That was probably due to my religiously keeping it on a battery tender when stored.
    If I were to buy another ATV today, I wouldn't even hesitate - it would be another Grizzly.

    Besides dune riding or desert riding the Grizzly has plenty of power for riding trails thru the woods, it goes way faster than any sane person needs. My newest Grizzly is a 2021 EPS in camo. I'm an experienced rider and it has plenty of power and speed except for somewhere where you could really fly. My Grizzly tops out at 60 but gets there very quick with front tires in the air. I have no popping or banging on decel or any signs of running lean. You can buy the EPS and add your own winch and better tires cheaper than buying a XTR ... But Grizzly is a mighty Beast and great Quad !

    I've always loved the Grizzly with 686, but the new CanAm 700 is seemingly making for a worthy competitor at a good price point. And Honda really needs to update their Rincon, I don't know why they are leaving that class in the dark ages

    Good content right here! You are the right man for this job Kase. Dig the machine you were using. Interesting trail. Never seen 1 that was perfectly carved out for an ATV. Usually they are single tracks or forest roads. Since those ATV's are relatively light, I would not go with an XTR for the optional winch. I would just pack on a come along. Generally don't need to move very far to unstick an ATV. Unless you are swamp riding. More of these reviews please.

    • @spyder000069
      @spyder000069 Рік тому +1

      But you don't get yamaha reliability with the best cvt in the market. Yamaha increased their pricing this year which is going to make people take additional looks at CanAm but I suspect the current pricing on the 500/700/hd5/hd7 models is going to see increases after a year. As a new product they are probably going to launch at a lower price to gain favor. CanAm also has some wonky options. For instance there is not a perfect trail bike. You can get the XT model with trail suspension but you can't get the visco-4lok front diff. If you want that your have to either buy their MR option (which has a radiator relocate raising the center of gravity) or you can buy the HD series (but lose out on trail comfort because it has stiffer suspension tuned for work). They should have made the visco-4lok standard across the board so that they directly competed with the grizzly/brute force that have user selectable lockers.

    • @TheNotimprezed
      @TheNotimprezed Рік тому +1

      @@spyder000069 yes but they still haves the auto lock front dif which is probably more useful. Most people never end up needing or using the selectable front locker. Can am made the move to the new 500/700 line as a direct counter to CF Moto.

    • @Dusdaddy
      @Dusdaddy Рік тому +3

      @@spyder000069 An XTR is $2600 more than a Can-Am 700 XT. That difference buys a lot of durability. And you make no sense about the Can-Am "wonky options". If you want a high-speed trail machine, you have no need for a locker or low gearing, so they are not missed. The grizzly is geared low for an ATV and is primarily focused for utility. A Can-Am 570 will beat it in speed. The closer competition would be a Can-Am PRO 700 which is only $10K and has way more features and better specs than the Grizz for utility. And that's the problem with Yamaha, they do everything but nothing better than their competition except higher price. Can-Am offers you a version for everything.

    Having owned a Grizzly 700 myself. It has some serious limitations compared to Canam and Polaris offerings. Especially if you a big/tall person.
