You try getting those bumper corner covers back on and to stay! The system of clips to hold the upper fender with the bumper cover is the weakest ever. I worked in body work years ago and bolts were the best way to secure sections of fender.
Brother, you saved my life last night. I'd watched half a dozen other vids before diving into this job, trying to find the cleanest method. Several mentioned 'you don't have to take off the bumper but here I go anyway' and I couldn't find anyone specifically identifying what the minimum job looked like. Two hours later I'm still trying not to take off the bumper. I'd managed to get one H11 out of the housing but could not get enough leverage on the bulb to twist it back into a locked position. So many swear words and screws on the floor appeared as I dug deeper and deeper into the bumper and surrounding hardware. I was giving up and accepting that I had to take it all the way off, plus skip sleep altogether to finish before the wife needed to drive to work. Then I came across the first 3 minutes of your video and it was like rain-clouds being destroyed by pure sunlight. A few minutes later I had the bumper loose enough to pull the headlight housing forward and finally get my hands on that little explicative. Another few minutes after that the other H11 was done and it was just a matter of putting all those unnecessarily removed screws back in place. Now replacing the low beams feels like it would be less than a 30 minute job. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
This video helped so damn much. Crooks at dealers and local mechanics wanted to charge so much and this is the only video that actually showed how to correctly do this.

Are these bulbs low beam and high beams?
@@antoniopagan3990 These LED bulbs fit low beam only. High beam is H7. Could you take a photo of your high beam bulb, and the factory headlight housing to send us for a look? If the high beam bulbs come with a retainer holder, the standard H7 LED bulbs do not fit. We'll recommend compatible LED bulbs to you.

I fit my hand back there it was hard though
I like the way you don't show that the standard rubber covers don't actually fit properly over the cooled (fan fitted) LED lamps and you conveniently fail to show that! I believe you should be a wee bit more honest about that, as it ultimately will allow water ingress into the lamp unit and result in a destroyed entire unit!
Thanks for your suggestion.😊 As we know, these LED bulbs fit on most of vehicles perfectly. If we have the situation as you said, we'll display and tell how to fix it. We're collecting more ideas, and surely show more details in our videos.
You didn’t show how to remove the head lamp housing
Hi, it doesn't need to remove the headlight housing, You can reach the stock halogen bulbs and replace them with the LED bulbs.
left out 2 bolts under headlight
Thanks!
its not ok, OK?
This is not a 2012, 2012 was old body style fusion
Yes, you're right. We revise the year in the title. Thank you
Yeahhh, thanks Ford. 27 clips and fasteners, bumper removal. To replace a headlamp bulb. Special place in hell for design engineers who have never worked on cars.
Wrong year. Changed fusion for 2013.
Thank you, just revised the year. for 2006-2018 Fusion, the low beam is same bulb size, H11.
On my 2015, the clips are diffrent.
Could you take some photos of your clips to send us for a look by email?

Chanse si iso eras tu video en español tendrías mucho más vistas. Por ejemplo yo
Gracias por tus sugerencias.
This is not a 2012, I had a 2012 and it was the other body style!
Hi, this is 2013 Ford Fusion. Do you want to replace the OEM headlights with LEDs for your 2012 Fusion? The low beam bulb size also is H11, here is the link: www.lasfit.com/products/h11-h9-h8-led-headlight-fog-light-la-series?Social&YTB%20Channel&LAplusH11-LB
The first thing you say in the video is that you are working on a 2012!
It is 2013 Fusion 😂
I learned 3 things today
#1 i purchased this ford fusion not noticing how much "snappy on and off" bull shit there was on this car
#2 Ty for this video but FK all this shit, it used to be just u had to shimmy ur hand in at a weird angle and twist to remove a bulb. So lesson #2 is pay this guy to do this for me.
#3 I bought a dodge ram and didnt know how far they shoved the engine back into the firewall, hard to work on.. So Lesson #3 is i apparently need to do more research on vehicles than i already do :(
Mission Failed, We'll get em next time!
Agree this is too much work to replace a bulb. Now I have to take my car to the garage! $$$$$
Thank you for your comment! The installation process can be a bit troublesome, but it might be worth a try for a better lighting experience : )
In all seriousness... Fuck Ford for making changing a headlight this complicated
I found a much better way to do it without loosening the fender and removing the headlight assembly. I did this way first and it caused my headlight to be way out of alignment. I then tried ua-cam.com/video/tyrrKpsrgLc/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared from Driver Mod on the other headlight and it was much easier.
Thank you for watching and your info!
That fucking headlight dont come out.
This is bullshit, there's 2 bolts under the headlight assembly need to be removed in order to pull out the headlight 🙂
could you please tell me the year of your Ford Fusion? Maybe it's install differently on different vehicle.
Never getting another Ford, pathetic it’s this involved to change a damn bulb.
Worst design. What were Ford thinking?
😆🤣
I hate Ford Fusion I’ll never buy another ford again
