- In this video Gift and I arrive in Split Croatia 🇭🇷 where we will spend 5 nights. Initially we were planning on taking a taxi to our Airbnb in split city, but we found out that the shuttle will drop us off minutes from where we are staying. I also have a little bit of a rant, due to a few comments that we received. As I always do, I just deleted and blocked the keyboard warrior (Troll). I guess some people just don’t have anything positive to say, more than likely just miserable in their own skin 😆.

Ignore the negativity Gift and Joe and just keep these vlogs coming! Nobody could accuse you of being a "Cheap Charlie" Joe as I consider that this whole trip is costing you as much as a year's pension! The meals alone are crazy expensive when you compare them to Thai prices, where, whenever my wife and I eat out, we usually spend about 400 baht maximum for the pair of us. Anyway, this trip is not about the money, it's about the pair of you having a wonderful holiday together and enjoying each other's company whilst seeing the sites in different countries! You are both smiling and having a great time as are we, your subscribers, who you have kindly taken along with you for the ride. Thank you both so much for your generosity and kindness. We love you. 1 1/2 years 1994-95 just after the war. I lived in Bosnia and traveled every two weeks to different parts of Croatia. Look forward to the scenery now days. THANKS💕

I think Croatia is my favourite European country to visit, the coast, mountains, the waterfalls are so beautiful, so much history and a mixture of Eastern Europe and italian influences, I like the straightforward friendly people too. I just ate from local Burger vans outside tourist areas mostly, pretty cheap for burger and Cevapi and a big ozjusko beer.
Very beautiful here in Split 🤩. We are really enjoying ourselves!

Delete, block, and move on from the haters. "Cheap Charlie?" Holy moly, six countries! I'm another subscriber who appreciates you listing the prices of everything. It's helpful. I may have to put Croatia on our travel plans. If I missed it, point me to a video, but how difficult was it for Gift to get visas to all these places? As you know, my wife is also a Thai citizen and I've always kinda worried about traveling beyond the ASEAN countries. And I love you're rockin' your gear/swag while traveling. Also keep in mind that you can sponsor your wife or she could attempt to get the visa on her own. Gift did it on her own. Good luck!

It seems that you have brought the warm weather with you but by the time you get to spain and return to italy the weather will get a lot hotter.

Nice to see you and Gift having a good time. Joe you had me baffled at your pronunciation of where you were really going. But as you have been there and I have not, I had to google the way to say it for some reason. True or correct I can't say which way locals say it, but you say it with a "Z" sound or with "ASIA"...I always pronounced it "krow·ay·shuh? Which is both American and British version?
Will be watching your time there just to see how "They" pronounce their country. Sounds weird, but when I traveled in the Military it was always stressed to respect your host country best you could with verbalizing the little phrases and terms and I have always held to that in my life. Enjoy your time there and can't wait to meet your family in Germany. Hi Joe - Graham from Thailand Retired living in Phitsanulok - anyhow - there’s a Croatian village called Vizinado where the famous film - ‘ Kelly’s Hero’s ‘ was filmed with Clint Eastwood and Donald Sutherland and Telly Savalas etc it might be near enough to you for a visit but you would obviously have to ask I think the best people to ask would be the tourist offices - great Blogg Joe and I am English married to a Thai lady just for info sake bye for now keep smiling and don’t let the B……ds grind you down 😊

Hi Joe and Gift. Make sure you guys check out Demel Pastry Shop in the first district in Vienna, Austria when you get there. It was established in 1786 and is famous for Sacher Torte and other pastries. Also, you will love Prague, Czech Republic. It is a beautiful city and there are lots of things to do. I am originally from Austria, but live with my Thai wife in New York. Take care, enjoy your vacation in Europe and stay safe!

WOW, $67.00, Split is expensive. I hope you can get out of the tourist area as that was not worth $67.00 but sure it tasted great! It seems like US prices and more expensive than Italy.
