- In today video Gift and I go check out the Green Market (Stari Pazar) in Split Croatia. Afterwards, we decide to take a walk up the viewpoint that was closed off by the police the previous day, once we reached the viewpoint, not realizing that we were actually at the main viewpoint, we continued to walk looking for another viewpoint. After walking for another 30-40 minutes, we realized that we had gone too far. Lol 😆😂. Nonetheless, it was a beautiful walk that we really enjoyed and we had an amazing time.

What a great walk Gift and Joe. Gift, when you were slowing down I kept shouting Tzu, Tzu to you, and you made it! Well done. Also Gift you are quite a comedienne with your funny comments. Although that was quite a hike I think that the end result was worth it, (for me sitting at home without walking a step) and you certainly built up an appetite for some delicious looking food. Split is certainly a town worth visiting if I ever get back to Europe, which is highly unlikely. Looking forward to your next episode, God bless you as always 😀❤🙏

The Adriatic is beautiful.
We have just returned from a week in Croatia staying near Dubrovnik. What a beautiful country and every person we encountered was very friendly and polite. I am sure Gift is enjoying all the new countries she is visiting. We also found Croatia to be on the expensive side but that's the way it is. I am sure the fact that so many cruises visit has something to do with it. Looking forward to catching up with the rest of your videos x

Split sure is a beautiful place! Compared to Thailand it is extremely expensive. The market looked interesting and your trail excursion really show cased Split. Thanks Gift and Joe for bringing us along!

Prices are always high in the top tourist areas, especially where you have cruise ports, i think those prices are ok considering the location. Be careful when you get to Prague and always check menu prices first, there are rip off joints all over and you can be charged $30 for 2 espresso

Hi guys 👋 I haven't commented in forever but it's Soo beautiful there And the prices in Croatia Are pretty much like it is in the USA Europe everywhere except for Thailand. everywhere is that expensive? You been out of the states too long. Hopefully in 2025 things will start looking up for the U S I'm hopeful! But it sure is beautiful there Have fun enjoy!😃👍👋

Hi Joe, Gift I was talking to a friend in the UK who is retired. He and his wife have a yacht andd they tour in it round the Med. They love Greece, so I asked if they had been to Split in Croatia.He said they had but did not go anymore because Split was so expensive.
While some restaurant prices seem a little high to us, that is to be expected in tourist areas. We had one local tell us, that as a local, they pay lower prices at some cafes and restaurants than the tourist does. In saying this, the higher prices did not deter us from anything that we wanted to do. We will definitely return to beautiful Croatia again.
Gift is already in Europe from walking and hiking.😂😂😂❤❤❤

Anytime you find a port where cruise ships come in everything is double priced stay away from the cruise ship ports and the prices will be much lower

WHOA! Are you kidding me about the prices; I don't mind paying, but don't like to be "gouged"! Are you getting the value for what you pay? Rely on your opinion before I decide whether or not to visit Croatia, Like the cityscape and Green Market, also nice that English is spoken there. Looks like a fun adventure for you and Gift with the weather cooperating somewhat. It is always so beautiful after a rain with the air so fresh. Very good quality video!! Nice to have kept up the older style buildings while adding modern structures. We appreciate and learn from the past. Gift is developing quite a sense of humor; she's really funny! The climb to the viewpoint was fantastic! Enjoyed the video immensely; especially the banter between you and Gift......so hilarious!
Thank you 🙏😊 For us everything we ate was delicious 😋 and we would eat at those restaurants again, regardless of the prices. Also, in our next video we go visit what I would call a Croatia fast food restaurants and eat some delicious comfort food for very reasonable prices.

Monkey mountain because there, the goal for me is to get to the top as fast as I can. In Split, we went up at a moderate pace and just took in all the beautiful views.

Where is your next stop@? Hopefully cheaper. Jst been reading that Split, Dunbrovnik etc arfew more expensive than the Cote D'Azur which I find incredible. I suspect the eastern part of the Med does not have such a diverse population such as Italy and Germany, so you mind struggle to find Asian/ThaI ingredients. IN the UK divesres population so even up in North Scotland plenty Thai/ Asian supermarkets shops, so my Thai wife can get all the ingredients she wants to make my great Thai/Issan food (Curry pastes, prik kee noo, makut. takrai etc.), albeit exoensive
Germany is our next destination 😊

Depends on the time of year I believe. We paid around 360 euro for 5 nights which was very reasonable.
