We also go visit the Arcadia Resort to talk with JJ and his sister Nes about having our wedding on the beach. The following day Gift and I visit the Myanmar border market to look at some furniture.

Hi Gift, Joe and David, lovely, homely vlog. Glad David enjoyed the visit to Wing 5 and feeding the monkeys. They are much more docile than those marauding Macaques at your weekend market. So happy for you two making your wedding arrangements with JJ and Nes. They are very good friends to have. All that wooden furniture that you were looking at, comes to Khon Kaen a couple of times a year for various festivals. It always looks very strong and well made. Keep safe and well. What up guys ! Looks like you guys are having a lot of fun and David's enjoying the lemurs as much as I did when Ta took me to Wing V air base in 2017 . Like your son Ta and her family watched me play with them like I was a little kid . I'm sure you explained to him about the the babies being born orange color at first then changing to the grey/white eyes,beard as they grow ! Just be careful about letting them climb on you cause they'll definitely take a dump on your back 😅.Man I envy you guys and I can't wait to make our permanent move, but anyway thanks for keeping Ta and my spirits up with your videos! Positive as always and educational at times. Appreciate you and "soon to be Mrs Green" but we'll always refer to her as "the great and powerful GIFT" 5555 !

I have been 4 - 5 times to that market on the Myanmar border ... bought some huge teak ( ? ) tables there ... the tables are super, super nice .... they delivered to my house for an extra 1K baht per table .... yea, a nice place
Some offer free delivery up to 500 KM. I guess you might have to negotiate delivery during the purchase.

It would be good to pick your experience. I’m a 52 year old British guy . I lived in sing before for 14 years so I do know a little bit about Thailand .
Gift and Joe, loved the video, nice to see your son enjoying feeding the monkeys, I was amazed how friendly and cute the monkeys were, no attacking bandit ones, either. Those love seat/table combos were so inexpensive, wowie, in the USA (East Coast) would be close to or exceeding $1000, amazing! Look for a set of long and thick pipes for wind chimes, the sound of them is a much lower gong with low bass, very soothing sound, as opposed to those high-pitched dinging/tinging ones that are just annoying. Lower bass way way better, imo. Also, looking forward to seeing you and Gift tie the knot, (finally, but understandable why the wait for both of you - such a beautiful couple you both are, seriously) Now I'm much much closer to perm. relocating overseas, but need to visit the 5-6 countries I'm considering before retiring to a specific one, I may decide on 2, and get a rental in both, for visa issues/travels to/from for visa runs. Thailand is way up there on my list, #1, but retirement visa's are so darn pricey for a non-married expat, so Vietnam and Malaysia are top contenders on my list. I've traveled quite a bit, (Europe mostly) but never to SE Asia, so definitely need to short term visit in each country/areas for at least 2-weeks stay in each before jumping ship. Sorry long comment, bad habit of mine, lol - Loved the video, always enjoy them from your channel, I feel like I 'almost' know you both from watching so many of 'em, lol. You both truly make them all special (for me, anyway) Stay Healthy, Happy and Safe, my friends 🙏.

Joe, I noticed you wearing a cross necklace, of course a symbol of Christianity. Have you received any odd reactions from the Thais because of it? I've been curious because, as someone who is practicing Christianity and who wears a cross every day, I intend to wear one when I go to Thailand in a few more months and have wondered whether the Thais would view it as confrontational in some way.
I’ve never had anyone say anything negative to me about wearing my cross. In fact, I purchased my cross and a cross for Gift here in Thailand. Gift also wears a cross as well as a Buddha necklace.
Don't worry, there are quite a few Thai christians and there are many churches.
