The point of a base coat is to help your polish adhere to the nail though, so your mani lasts longer & not chip. It’s not merely to protect your nail from staining.
I don't know if you're still taking comments, But I am pleasantly surprised because these techniques actually work! Thanks for giving me the confidence to do the at home white polish and sheer polish manicures!
I was looking at the Sally Hansen Coconut base, but prefer other polishes. Loved the SH Insta dry clear Topcoat but it chipped! CND VINYLUX is a good quality nail polish! Out the Door is expensive in the UK! I would have added a bit of glitter! UK 🇬🇧
Hey just curious, have you ever tried the seche vite top coat? It’s absolutely amazing! It dries so much quicker than the out the door one and it always leaves that gel-like appearance! 😍
YES!! I do LOVE that one too - I just find that the bottle dries up/gets gloopy much quicker so I usually save it for "special" manicures haha. I've heard they have a thinner you can add to help the polish last, I need to try it!
What if it is a gel nail? I just did an at-home OPI bubble bath, and it is streaky with 3-4 coats. Grrrr - Does the matte top coat also apply to the gel nail process or is there another trick?
Got a new girl right , she’s beautiful and has a god body. She’s a 10/7 ez. But her dressing and nails , hair is horrible… this shit is too complicated I rather take her to a shop. Great bud tho
As I started watching the first thing I thought of was, “Use a matte top coat in between the polish layers!” It’s a great hack! Love SH Coconut!
Haha yesss! Such a great little hack!! :)
@@AmandaBellaa i love those nails

I noticed that putting multiple coats on tend to make them peel off in a few days.
In 2018, My mom’s first manicure, My mom’s nails were painted in white nail polish and her nails were a lot longer then her nail look right now.

Beautiful that white is hard to do 👍👍
Love it!!!
Thanks so much, Tiffany! :)
does this come off with a normal nail polish remover or does it need the gel polish remover?
Can you do a video on how to do a manicure at home and how to make it last long
I have a ton of DIY mani videos on my channel! But I don't think I have one specifically dedicated to making a manicure last, that's a great idea! :)
2:38 I like white nail polish 🤍
Can I use any topcoat if I don't have a matte one? Uk 🇬🇧
so...how do you remove it? Do you have to soak it off like a gel manicure?
I'm a perpetual three coater
Hahaha sometimes you need em all!!
I bought the same polish but mine was so sticky

White nail polish in an Indian household just turns yellow because of the curries we eat🤣❤️

Why do I see so many women with white nail polish, is there a subliminal message behind the white nails?
It just matches with any outfit and is a natural color lol

You totally can!! Just need a little practice & patience!
