In the helicopter ride during the beginning of the embassy mission, the pilot is actually voiced by the original Captain Price from the Modern Warfare trilogy Billy Murray who in a sense passed his torch to the new Price Barry Sloane
Being a gun guy, there's a detail that I totally didn't expect but really appreciated. If you are to pick up an enemy's XM16 or 1911, there is a noticeable difference between the glow of the night sights vs your issued ones (ie your issued ones are much brighter). This is because in real life night sights use tritium, a very slightly radioactive element that has a half life of about 10 to 12 years. A detail I didn't expect but was floored when I first noticed it.
@@fletch0g376 negative. Tritium is very slightly radioactive, not enough to emit radiation to be harmful. You're thinking of plutonium or radium, those are typically used in nuclear weapons.

Maybe I'm looking too far into this but the interrogation scene with the Butcher tells you quite a bit about how he sees his relationship with Garrick: when he gives Garrick the gun it's unloaded which is used as a scare tactic on the Butcher before giving him some ammo for it and leaving the room while the sergeant loads the gun. Since we see what happens if Garrick attempts to shoot Price, it reminds me of a quote from the original MW2 after Soap and Price learn about General Shepard's betrayal: Soap: "Shepard betrayed us!" Price: "You have to trust someone to be betrayed, I never did..." If we put this quote in the context of the butcher's interrogation it could be interpreted that Price still doesn't fully trust Garrick yet and puts this into practice by making sure that he can't be backstabbed, withholding ammo until he's sure he's out of harm's way. Really goes to show that Price will examine all options before acting.
One of the greatest Call of Duty campaigns of all time, if not the best, hands down. Usually with other Call of Duty campaigns the pacing can get a bit tedious, however with this one they struck a perfect balance of storytelling, location, gameplay, and sequencing. It’s fantastic, I played it against recently. The only major criticism I have is Alex’s death. It was completely unnecessary and extremely underwhelming. No gravitas was given to it at all considering the fact that he’s been a major character throughout the whole story. A very sudden, off-camera death for such a cool character was completely uncalled for
@@AdamSmith75th Also to add to this, any impact that his death had was completely made pointless when they brought him back to life in multiplayer and he literally only lost a leg.
Fun fact: when captain Price calls u a cheeky bastard for stealing his kill, the cheeky bastard bit is actually a reference to the original Modern Warfare when in one of the missions, you have to wait for Gaz to open a blast door and when Price asks him if there's anyway for him to open the door quicker, Gaz says this "Negative sir, but you can try pulling it if it'll make you feel better" and Captain Price replies with "Cheeky bastard "
You know what I'd love to see games start implementing? Imagine if there was a hidden option to call in or tell higher command about the fact that Hadir was the perpetrator all along. I don't mean like a pop-up available for everyone, but like another hidden option for those with keen eyes who would've noticed his gun. Obviously that would've cut the game short or have to make up for some other story-line, but just imagine how cool it would be figuring this kind of stuff out, and finding a totally different approach to the rest of the game just because you actually paid attention to details. I don't know, maybe that would just make things too complicated, but personally I'd love that.
Ok so basically, i just found out theres something similar in dishonoured 2. There is a locked door at some point in the game and you gotta go through a lengthy level to unlock it, which is how youre supposed to do it. However, the game tells youits a puzzle basically thousands have failed to figure out, and sure enough, if the player tries it, it seems impossible. However, there IS a solution and if you spend some time you CAN genuinly figure it out, but it requires TONNS of planning, writing real life tables and other stuff so most players wouldnt even think that this is genuinly possible and would just do the mission. This whole thing is basically sold as set dressing, but it IS a functional puzzle, and requires TONS of time and logic to figure out. If you do, you can skip a significant portion for an entire mission
They did this already in COD:MW2 remastered! You could shoot Shepherd at the first mission and the game ends there and even gives you an achievement for it! Although there’s no cutscene I believe or really anything other than a “oh wow ok good job”, it’s a pretty cool detail!
Price reacting to you taking his kills early seems like a callback to Cliffhanger, the blizzard mission from MW2. Soap will occasionally snipe enemies for you if they're in your way and isolated, or if you aim at them without firing for more than a few seconds. Shooting them before he does results in similar reactions to Price in this game. My favorite one is: "I've got this one." *player shoots enemy* "...Or not."
There's also the "cheeky bastard" reference in MW3 when yuri and price goes infiltrate some castle and you're told to shoot someone, wait long enough and Price ends up shooting them. This call of duty was very well made. New and fresh but also felt like a modern warfare game all the way from the names of the missions to the dialogue and gun play

@@sovietpierogi69 If I remember correctly, the medium barrel, 5.56 30rd mags, one of the grip tapes, commando foregrip, and aiming stability stock. The cloth wraps look quite nice.
It’s not about price so much as availability. Grenades are difficult to make and difficult to get, C4 can be made at home while the remote controlled planes are fairly cheap and easily accessible. A few thousand dollars could do all we see in the mission while a single grenade would cost them hundreds and be far less useful
Fun fact: The guy in fog of war who says "You did right, they have radios and guns. Put them out of their misery." Is PS4 Spider-man! Troy Baker also does some other voices in the game
Easy explanation; family lineage. So every Price is John, then John Junior, then Junior-Jnr, etc. Or if you prefer, John Junior, John Price, Grand John, then Great John
I don't get how so many people don't get that the original Price from the first few games was his grandfather Feel free to say "YOU MISSED THE JOKE!!!! 😠😠😠😠 WAAAAAH R/WOOSH R/WHOOOSGB!!!!!!!!" btw
In the final mission where you get to kill the guy in the helicopter, you need to ramp at him to then engage a melee fight with him. But if in the start you directly switch weapon and take your pistol, you can shoot him and the game will think that you actually killed him by fighting him :D
Yeah, who knew that a third mode made by another team that was clearly a F2P advertisement for Modern Warfare has now become a F2P advertisement for Cold War. Warzone was only made to get people to buy the current CoD, and it works so well that they will never go back.
One of the best missions in the game is Piccadilly. On the mission where your undercover with Farrah (I forget what it’s called) if you go loud and kill all the guards on the map there is a secret dialogue.
in the clean house mission, on the third floor, if you kill the mother, Captain price will say "what the hell are you doing", and if you kill the baby three times, the game says "are you serious?"
12:19 I think this detail is also seen in Call of Duty MW 2. In “Cliffhanger”, Soap will do the same thing as Price, act as your sniper. If you take out one of the hostiles right before him, he will say something like this.
you forgot the one where you get different faliure messages like 'Really?' or 'Are you serious?' when you kill the baby in the cot in the london house mission
In the undercover mission with Farah, you can actually kill all the enemies when you're supposed to sneak and cause certain events not to trigger later on. She says that she's impressed too. I found that the best place to attempt this is when the three civilians are being hung. The building you come out of creates a good choke point and you can use the wall in the building as cover because the enemies do more damage when you attempt this

It’s not about price so much as availability. Grenades are difficult to make and difficult to get, C4 can be made at home while the remote controlled planes are fairly cheap and easily accessible.
