- Scott did his thing on the chassis while we started tearing into my engine. Massive thank you to Scott, Kevin, and Derek for helping me take on a project WAY outside of my comfort zone. Find someone from Drycenation near you HERE www.drycenatio...

Crazy how things have changed
Cream S13 in the og cul-de-sac is how much things have changed
I miss his Woodward videos with Spencer, Bert and the rest of the gang. Feels like yesterday
From ‘’I bring my girlfriend to the skatepark’’ to ‘’I buy my girlfriend a corvette’’
Yep pb and j pizza
Damn dry ice blasting is like some cheat code we were never supposed to unlock or something. The way it can bring old cruddy parts back to life is amazing. Love watching the process, it's so rewarding.
Wait untill you see vaporhoning / wetblasting
When can I get it from Harbor Freight?
It is amazing but it is SUPER dirty, everything it removes goes somewhere, and that somewhere is usually your lungs if you are not careful.
This car was very well protected/undersealed from factory. That's what protected it so well and what they are blasting off. Corrosion on the parts that come up zink coated wouldn't come back like new on a more regular unprotected car if it went through the same process. It was very well cared for to begin with. This is sort of the best you can hope for scenario.
To be fair this only works so well because the Porsches have cosmoline, so everything is protected and brand new underneath. On a normal car something that's crusty is gonna stay crusty, because there's no protective layer to be taken off.
This video is the definition of: "It is not about what you know, it is about who you know."
I find it crazy that people into cars or drifting are still just finding this guy's channel I got to think it's more younger people or the previous generation finding him now
Adam is an "east coast" guy and that rubs the other 90% of America the wrong way. Adam has done very well to rid himself of the "elitist air" that prohibits most easterners from finding popularity outside their own region...
EVERYTHING on UA-cam is under the control of our Lord and Savior, the Most High, the ALOGORITHM. I've been subbed to this channel for like 10 years, and UA-cam STILL will go weeks and weeks without showing me his uploads if I don't go seeking it out myself.
i found him 10 years ago from BMXing lol
Same
same dude wild how its been that long already@@ewrepz
Love those te's on the black r34. The green stripe looks cool.
Any idea who’s it is by any chance?
Looks like tommy kaira spoiler,so the te’s are not the only thing that is cool.
@@1017stubswas also curious lol
Mike, that song choice for the timelapse blew my lid off 🤯👌🏼
Meta - Blue steel
Refreshing to see someone whos a master at their craft admit and point out their mistaked
In our financial reporting world, we refer to a P&L as a Profit & Learn! The more mistakes I make, the better I get. Owning them helps myself and our DryceNation members. And ultimately, our customers.
Thanks for letting me film the first part man, had a blast💪🏾❤️
Idk who's putting drum and bass over b roll, but I absolutely love you for it.
That r34 on the lift is 🔥
Car came out looking amazing after the dry ice blasting. And the engine is looking really good. If it was me I would put a clear undercoat on the car just for a little added protection.
we need a new full compound update!
Dude this guy dissassembles and reassembles an entire engine in what appears to be 20 minutes, and my engine builder took 8 months to get the 964 engine done! I'm so gutted, but at least the work that has been done was done well. Your car really starts to look absolutely mint, pun intended 🤣
The dryice blasting just transformed the car. I had the same plan, but no one was able to get it done in time, even though they had said 8 months time... That's the problem when you live in a small country where literally only a hand full of people can do those type of jobs.
I can't wait to see where this build is going. Great content!
the Fact the Dry ice dude showed you his mistakes on video. super cool!
I appreciate the video of the full engine tear down. I’m not super familiar with Porsche engines, so this was really cool to see
Scott is a legend. I've been aware of him for 5-6 years now and he just keeps upping the game with dry ice.
I mean, why would anyone NOT want to do this to an old car to make it look new!? Just increases the value IMO and don't see any cons of doing this. Great job Adam and Drycenation!
When you thought Jimmy did a lot with his engine, then Adam gets his hands on one
Looks great thinking of doing under our Ferrari 458spider project!! My son and I are getting close to finishing the project. Hoping to do another as we progress learning the UA-cam thing. Congrats again looks awesome
Cannot wait for dry ice machines to become more mainstream in the next 5-7 years. Having machines of all sorts for home use etc. Quality of everything is going to become drastically better.
If he's from Iowa, he knows the struggle! Love his passion for cars
1:36 hella satisfying. Porsche parts clean up so well.
Great vid!! But we need more info on that GTR on the Lift.
Gotta love guys like Scott. So much passion. Such attention to detail. He did an amazing job.
Love this build brother, I hope to see you drive this thing a lot.
I love these detailed videos and the people involved.
ok Mike needs a raise his editing is unreal!! it just hit me in this video and he got dusted last video lol
Truly stunning. You can tell it’s a Japanese car with no rust whatsoever- I’m not sure my UK 993 would come up as spotless as that 🥰
Hands down the first 2 minutes were magic !!!! Mike with the fire edit 🔥
Which skyline is that on the lift at 18:54 🤔 Thing is just a beauty perculating all Shiney with those TEs🤒
Whos black r34 on the hoist?
So glad you did cams. I always say if the engine is getting any work its getting cams while I'm at it
I built an 65 era Volkswagon aircooled motor with my uncle a few years ago. Crazy how similar they are. I love aircooled stuff
What’s with the Tommy Kaira R34 on the lift? 👀
18:53 im sorry but WHAT THE HELL IS THAT WING ON THE SKYLINE R34!!!!! straight out of need for speed underground 2 lmao😂😂😂
That’s a Tommy Kaira GTR 1of34
I saw that tooooooo. Who's is that.?
@@carlooooo0 so basically your telling me there's more like it!!! that's so cool ngl 😂
@@carlooooo0 impressed !someone knows TK
Wow, looks so clean! Havijg all the parts zinc coated too is going too add such a nice pop to the engine bay.
Thanks for the quality vid Adam and crew! Car is turning out AMAZING!! Air-cooled love!!
Meanwhile in CT Jimmy said "Yolo lets refresh the engine" and sent it ! x)
Absolutely love this series ❤
awesome work on the motor
Adam, just get the cams reground to RS specs! Regrinding can be done with in 24 hours with the "right people". Just got to find them.
C.T. Australia.
Dude, that’s crazy! Looks amazing!
thank you for all the amazing content you provide all of us with week after week year after year. keep up the great work adam
This is the best dry video I have ever seen
I'm so glad u ended up getting cams. I think every car needs cams or as I like to call them bumpsitcks. 🙋♂️🇦🇺
I am so excited for you Adam. Your Porsche looks incredible! Since I know you suffer from the same OCD condition, that I do. I know that the only thing better than seeing that result, would being able to remove all that grime off of your 964, by yourself!! Thanks for listening to your viewers. Keep up the stellar content.
Great job! Brings back so many memories of building my 911 engine. Excited to do my next one coming to my channel soon!
Love this Porch content! Thing is ‘mint’, the car that got me into Porsche when I was a kid. One day I will get one, hopefully this clean!
Probably my favorite LZ video to date.
What's with the black R34 GTR on the lift???
As an air cooled owner. If it doesn’t leak, check your oil levels, because it’s surely low or empty
Beyond satisfying, and nothing like a clean 964 🔥
So amazing what ice blasting does! 👌🏻
This build is incredible, I'm hoping for a V2 one day with a sick 964 ITB setup, cams and a stroker though 😂
I wanna know who owns the black R34 in the background, looks sick af
Why do I feel so satisfied it's not even my car. Holy shit what an amazing difference!!
Interesting seeing more of how the air cooled motor works inside.
Same as a water cooled fundamentally.
@smooth_ops2942 there are many many differences, only similarity is that it's a flat 6, and that's about where it ends. Aircooled ownership is something that definitely takes getting used to as they are completely different animals when it comes to maintenance.
@@xxhotelcrazyxx The only thing similar is that they are both a flat six? What! They are both the same thing other than one doesn't have water jackets running through it along with any other coolant based parts. The air cooled version uses it's oil system to draw heat from the engine along with using it's block and head as a heat sink. Yes there are minor differences between the two but the overall operation of both engines are just like any other internal combustion 4 stroke engine. If I'm totally incorrect, please enlighten me and educate me on my lack of understanding on this subject. I'm always wanting to learn and will admit if I've been objectively incorrect in my assessment of the differences between the two.
And just like that, another couple hundred thousand people have learned about the magic of dry ice. Have to compliment Adam on his strategy. Start an entertainment company that buys cars, but not just any cars, but cars that will appreciate in value, especially when the content you are producing is making those cars better. Imagine doing that with houses. Think the IRS would let you do that?
Why would the IRS care? There are multiple TV networks dedicated to that kind of content
Crazy transformation
The dry ice cleaning turned out great.
damn Adam, congrats on your brand new 964 porch 😳
I absolutely love this car the color and wheels and everything OEM it’s perfect
A lot of that on the underside is factory wax. It would be a good idea to reapply wax on the underside not only for the originality factor, but for protection as well
We can easily apply any coating a customer desires. But it's completely their choice and largely revolves around how the car will be used moving forward. Typically, when cars reach collector car status, they enter into a life of special care and driving.
In the mid-2000s, all auto manufacturers ended the practice of applying waxy coatings when new.
Be dope if Kevin worked there full time. Dudes great.
Looks like a fresh new car, what a transformation
Here Since Adam snapped his Aron Ross space bars…. “What is this I want a personal apology from Aaron Ross!” @AdamLZ you have come a long way !! Kudos ..
Tommy Kaira on the hoist in the background?!
Dry ice blasting is so fascinating to me and the fact that it’s not even messy!!?? 🤯
It's really messy. They have enclosed areas where they do the work.
Sick time-lapses here
Dope car transformation
The only thing that sucks with new zinc plating old hard ware is that most of the time you are removing a far superior yellow cadmium plating for inferior yellow zinc
Watching this cures my OCD for 32 minutes.
I don't think the previous owner of the campound would have been disappointed to see the compound continue to restore beautiful cars.
So glad you ordered new cams.
18:53 did anyone else see that R34 GTR In the background? Big track wing etc
Nothing better than smooth cleaning!
The way Kevin’s finger bent on top of that plastic case made it look like he was trying to poke a hole in it. Lol
just watched the other video this came out at the perfect time
Amazing project
That color is so good.
Quick shoutout to Mike. He is really the best thing you ever did for the channel.
Retro and reliable, clean as... looks frikkin sweet 😎👌
Excited about this project.
whaaat I didn't even realize that was the original color so cool
I’m so curious to know if that dealer actually sent the 50 bucks lol I hope they did 😂 love this video series and the porch Adam!!🤘🏻😎
30:56 hmm nice skyline
I love how the guy who's working with him has a RUf t-shirt on
How crazy would a current Woodward video go?
ADAM KEEP UP THE AWESOME WORK MAN LOVE YOU DUDE!!!!!
That seem sealer on the Porsche. Kind of tells the story that probably no other car has! I would definitely keep it 😂
Can't wait for Adam to find and restore one of the cars from the compounds previous owners car collection.
I like Kevin and the energy he brings
A dry ice blaster on old vintage bikes would be god tier
Is that a Tommy Kira r34 in the background?
love the 964 content
Really interested in what Scott says hope to see him in future vids maybe you should just hire him full time at the compound
Hire Scott! That’s so funny. Scott is a tremendously successful businessman, to the point where innovation and new technology discovery and bringing it to the marketplace for enthusiasts is almost a hobby. Like you, I like Scott!
The car came out amazing Scott did some great work
Side note though if you didn't get any RUF parts what are you actually doing then Adam .... ... you go to this level and then you slack on the cool parts that's like the top of the line stuff you know like the cool kid bits for the Nissan stuff who are the RTR stuff for the Mustangs That's like having a cool car without having the Callaway stuff
Holy shit that dry ice is no joke!
Not really a Porsche guy but damn I love this car
Great job, but where’s the video of the transmission getting vapor honed after it was cleaned by dry ice?
