  • A couple weeks ago Ali Currie and myself got to head out to Lake Elsinore for the Fox Experience. Fox Shocks had us out to check out the three levels of Performance Shocks they offer and to really see the difference between the three as well as stock. They have something for everyones needs and if you have a question, drop one in the comments, I'd love to help get your Jeep dialed in.

    I'll just take whichever ones I don't have to wait 6 months for

    I must say the Fox products performance is top notch, My 2018 Rubicon JL is sitting on 37's with the Fox 3.0's and the ride is amazing. Doesn't matter if I am at Gold Mountain, John Bull or Johnson valley the ride is just stellar. Well done guys.

    This video might be the push I need to give some much needed attention to my suspension situation on my JKU... I've got 3 blown out stock shocks that I've abused the CRAP out of for years and I bounced around like those Spring Horses at the playground on Hells Revenge a few weeks ago. It was embarrassing LOL. Anyways, great content my friend.

    The only thing about aftermarket shocks they got that generic boot to cover the shaft instead of that nice sleeve like a factory shock

    Thanks for the video! I have a gladiator with no lift in the rear. Do you think it would be beneficial to run the 2.5 in the rear and the 3.0 up from or just stick to 2.5s all around? The 3.0s aren’t available in 0-1.5

    IMO, three best Shock come to mind Kings, Fox, Bilstien. Would love a comparison test but can't go wrong with either if properly setup.

      @@Caleb.Casias personally, I'm leaning towards Bilstien for some reason. Just like the Lite-Brite setup on stepchild.

      If you want to go bypass shocks fox has that as well with amazing bypass technology. The Fox are designed for all conditions and a track record hard to beat. You will get the clicking sounds like a race truck with the bypass open and closing. I have the fox triple bypass on my JT. These shocks in this videos give you the performance and the ability to drive it daily without having the noise. The 3.0 Fox with internal bypass will be a much better Jeep shock for all around dirt and street driving. My 3.0’s have more then 5,000 miles of hard miles in Baja on pre run trips and trips with my family loaded in the back. It’s also the same jeep that gets driven daily on the roads. And when rock crawling you adjust the high speed and low speed with no tools and get a plush ride for that too.

      @@CaseyCurrie If there's one man word I trust it's your Case. Thank you for the info bro. Got my JT and going crazy on what suspension setup I want cause when I do it I want the setup & shocks done right the first time so I don't waste my
      $$,$$$ .

    I'm curious where the factory JT Mojave FOX shocks would land in this line up. I have a Mojave and am pretty happy with it in the stock form, but there is always room for improvement!

      They are great shocks. I know you can send them in to fox for some upgrades though. There is always room for improvements

    I really wish they would have kept the vehicles the same throughout the tests. Putting the best shocks on a vehicle with a longer wheel base and bigger tires really seems to throw it in my eyes. I just picked up a set of 2.5s and cannot wait to get them on... the 3.0s are sick but I don't think I bash around hard enough on the regular to justify the price.

    Casey, What shocks do you recommend to use with the rock jock lift kit?

    • @CaseyCurrie
      @CaseyCurrie  2 роки тому +1

      Fox for sure. And really depends on the budget. But 2.5s are a great shock

    how are the 3.0 compared to a stage 4 enforcer pro coilover or similar setup? haven seen much videos on those for some reason....

      Im not sure what that your asking. Are you wanting to know difference between a 3.0 fox shock and a coil over bypass set up?
