Thank you so much for sharing this! As a fellow gifted adult starting to homeschool my young kids, it is so helpful to hear other gifted voices! I feel so lost and like I can’t find my people. Most of the other homeschoolers I talk to are very surprised at how much I’m already doing with my 3-year old but he loves it! I hope to start hearing more gifted voices like yours because I think there’s a lot of misunderstanding of giftedness in the world. Love everything you had to share!!
Thanks for your kind words! I started the channel because I couldn't find my own community or any good examples for homeschooling young gifted kids. It's great to hear support when I still hear negative comments from people around me about what I'm doing with my son already. I wish you luck on your journey!!
Thanks for answering my question about bedtime and the science curriculum. I'm going to look into Apologia. I need to get my son back on a bedtime routine. Life has been crazy, and he's been going to bed at random times.
Thank you for this video. I'll have to go check out the insomnia one. I didn't realize that could be connected to giftedness (it actually makes a lot of sense). My son loves read-alouds in our school because it's his playtime to play with manipulatives while I read. I'm always surprised that he can answer my book questions and carry on a "show" about what he is playing at the same time.
I've got to get myself some of those noise cancelling ear buds. I saw them online a year or so ago and was trying to figure out if it was worth it. I really think I need them because I find myself getting so overstimulated.
What do you think of the Tuttle Twins American History curriculum? We tried Notgrass and neither of us really got into the material. My son (7) enjoyed some of the lessons but overall, it just did not work for us.
I've only glanced at the newest Tuttle Twins history, and I'm intrigued but haven't had the chance to look deeper. It's definitely on my list to checkout though!

I ended up buying their American History. I will let you know what I think.
