2 happy times owning a boat.....when you buy it and then sell it..... CONGRATS! and have fun! ....just put clear silicone over speaker hole works for me
Always love seeing hard work pay off! Congrats man!
$200/hour is awesome!!! Great job on that boat...can't wait for the next video
That's a beautiful boat. Thanks for sharing the video.
Brother Great Job! I admire you man. Keep doing your thing. From a fellow Canadian, from Toronto.
Damn 💰😮 Lookin forward to the next one👍🏼
Nice boat,is right,wow!
Fixing it is the fun part. Delivery is the work part.
Good video John 👍
You are a hard worker, I respect ya. I learn a lot. Thanks Bearhunter5
Nice!
Nice looking boat, traveling that many hours with two bad tires is not good, but you made it safely, looks like a hard job trying to fixes the tire with one hand and holding the Camara with the other, don't know how you do it but you manage to get the job done, okay thanks for sharing your video, again nice looking boat...Aloha from Hawaii
1 in a 100 deal no always happens. Great job. I have similar flip but with a vehicle classic car but i only made profit around 9k
I just did that Pennsylvania drive from Melbourne Florida to Harrisburg pa fun fun fun
Looks good
Sir, you need to look into the engine hydraulic lift cylinder. Don't wait too long. It could have sea water in the cylinder. It could seize up and then you have a real challenge on your hands.
Now is the time to bleach all of the surfaces behind all of the storage areas. Take a clean bucket, pour a gallon of fresh water i it. Add 3-4 caps of bleach into the bucket. Find a white cotton towel. Soak the towels in the water, rinse it out, start wiping down all of interior hatch covered surfaces. Leave the hatches open so the can COMPLETELY dry out. If you have a leaf blower, bring it along and use it to speed up the drying process. You can also you use the blower blow the rest of the trash out of lockers before cleaning and blow crap out and off the deck. If the lockers don't get a clean as you would like, consider buying and electric pressure washer. Much small and easier to transport around than a gas powered one and they work as good or better than a gas powered pressure washer. Looking fantastic. I am so jealous!
Time to invest in a head mount for your camera, or buy a decent tripod. Cheap tripods will be cheap, Quality tripods will last. Don't buy cheap!!
You just made 8 months salary for me, for that 100 hours. Good job putting Juliana to work too.
$52k in cash, put that in the bank ASAP before you get stopped and they confiscate it.
The would hold you on bank robbery charges hope you got a receipt from the buyer 😮

Local here to Fort Myers looking to get into boating as well in the next couple months. Just binge watched your 3 videos on this boat. Very entertaining seeing areas I know. Any plans on fixing another boat? Would love to pick your brain and help out on the next repair!
Definitely going to be doing more boats. I ended up buying 2 jetskis and 2 more boats damaged. I haven’t shown them mainly just because the aren’t all that exciting just quick fixes.
@@John_Bastone Awesome you should definitely show those too. Definitely cool to see what's around in the market. How can I reach out to you? Would like to help on a repair one day if you're open to it.
Could even help out filming.
When you pulled that fish wire through without taping the vhf wire I felt that pain brother I said God damnit like I was the one that had to fix it haha.
the Canadian IRS is listening careful lol
Lolll
Great video
You are so talented with that stuff, incredible!
Hi great job. Do want to sell that boat? If so how much ? Or do you have any similar boat. I just want a great fishing boat that won’t break the bank. Thanks let me know ,any advice or information would be greatly appreciate.
I am too old and disabled to do any maintenance,or anything for that matter.. so time to put the 401k. For fun stuff. Thanks Bearhunter5
Lower unit should have been taken care of day one. Still a great boat.
Posted up in new pass Bonita 😎
Good job. Very cool! Ever run into any issues making a profit or carrying that much cash backbjnto Canada? We snowbird every winter and I am super leary about that.
Tires have an 8 year shelf life regardless of the tread depth. That is due to just what happened to your old tires. You're lucky you didn't have an accident.
If you like what you do ,(videos) I suggest start using royalty free music. Because in coming months, your videos will not only get demonetized (if not already) but also UA-cam will Mute your entire video.
I would highly recommend in investing in a tripod or something to hold your camera.
man , it would have been great to keep it.
I'm an aircraft mechanic by trade, so I know my way around a tool box. I have had several boats, the last one being brand new. I still did a bunch of upgrades to it. I'm getting ready to retire in a few years. Maybe boat flipping would be a good second career for me! But, I'm in California. We don't have hurricanes here, lol.
The same principles apply. Find boats that need work local. engine replacements for inboard boats like bow riders are often looked at as costly and difficult. I can replace an inboard engine on most boats in 1 day in and out. I Usually make a ton of money on them if you can find them. Just keep your eyes out for local boats that need work and buy with caution but be quick to make decisions.
@@John_Bastone good advice! Thanks John, and if you're ever out west, look me up.
Time to move to sunny florida lot of abandoned boats down here let me know if you decide to start flipping
Spoke too soon, but also FUCK California
Great video but please get yourself a tripod lol
Do you flush the motor with fresh water after each outing in salt water ?
Great video loving your channel saw you on your sisters channel. I have the same boat and trailer so super interesting. One question where did you get the replacement axels? My trailer is has the same issues with the rust.
What state are you in
Florida
@@badfrog251 so many trailer parts stores in Florida they all have them. Specifically I went to blue fin trailers in Fort Myers he’s got them all. But again google trailer parts and you’ll find them everywhere
If that’s how you put a wheel and lug nuts on, I’m not ever offering to change a tire.
Do you do service on other boats or just your own ?
Hi John
Just found your channel. I been wanting todo the same thing with boat. How did you licate your boat in this series?
I've looked at Copart auction, seems like a rip-off with all the fees you pay.
Keep baby wipes in your car and you'll never have to drive with dirty hands again😉
Any tips for finding hurricane damaged boats?
Well I actually don’t recommend hurricane damaged boats. Typically they are so bad that it’s not worth fixing. You end up with more in it then it’s worth. I recommend finding boats that need minor repairs, dirty boats, needs interior, maybe it doesn’t start from sitting. Easier things. Work your way up from there or just do that because I’ve done hundreds of boats now but I know what to look for. In 2 seconds I can tell you if the boats worth it or not. So just be cautious but take risks at the same time !
This is why you either buy a new boat or do the work yourself. People "cheap out" and make things look pretty to turn a profit and sell you their POS with a shine on it.
So doing fuzzy math you paid $22K for the boat (14 years old), $10K in repairs and sold for $52K or $20K profit. Good deal for you, not so sure on the buyer's end. I have always said if the seller and buyer are happy with the price, it was a good deal.
First boat ?
Hey from New Zealand, awesome videos and great job on the boat but please, please wear a seatbelt. You might not get to see your next project if you don't. Stay safe and happy.
Will you build me a boat I'm looking for a family fish center console 20 foot lots of room inside for the family and lots of fishing accessories for me
What union shirt are you wearing? I'm just curious I'm a union man myself
Local 793 operators union. I run machines when I get tired of fixing things lol
@@John_Bastone I'm in iuoe my hall is 406 cool brother love you videos

And then the government taxed you and took all your profit 😂😢
This video is filled with a number of cringy mistakes and shortcuts.
Unfortunately you don’t get to see behind the scenes. Boats perfect and the new owner is still enjoying it problem free to this day.
Not the craftsmanship we want to see on those speaker wires. That clip after you showing us the hole in the speaker, shows the connections of the wires. Really man? Just electrical tape? Do it right and and use waterproof butt connectors
Lol it had waterproof connectors I just put the tape to protect them. I used only heat shrink connectors for all the wiring. But ya that electrical tape looked sorta trashy
shuda coulda woulda you needd more skills yourself
WHy are you and Juliana not doing eny videos
