This has got to be the best Agwagon build! I love that your choice of engine is gasoline. Ag planes just need it for a realistic plane. Thanks for the informative video!
Always appreciate your attention to detail when building kits like this. No doubt you are a very patient person 😅
It's a gift...and a curse
This is perfect Sunday evening viewing... thanks for the upload, Fitz!
Wow, I've never seen a RC plane being built, that was fantastic! 👍⭐
Great vid! Be careful of the back pressure on the exhaust. Could cause you issues at altitude, too. I would say gain altitude slowly on the first flight. Looks like a gorgeous plane. I see quite a few ag wagons here. BTW, I really like the drill you used to install the servo screws in the fuse and canopy! Looks POWERFUL!!!
Great review Mr. Fitz! Can’t wait to see it in the air.
Had an older Seagull kit, an Edge 540, under powered it with a G-38, however it flew rather well. They put out very nice kits. This one looks good as well.
I was looking at the manual of the Seagull Ran’s S-20 for a possible purchase. It also uses offset hinges but they have fuel tubing over them to keep the halves together. Maybe seagull has been getting a bunch of negative feedback about this issue with the hinges separating.
Wow very nice build can’t wait to see it fly with the smoke
That is a very cool smoke setup
Missed you man. Thanks for posting and have a merry Christmas!
Part 1!
Very cool.
Great video love the plane!!
Thank you for these videos. I’m just getting into flying but I win have a kit like this.
Amazing,, Thanks for your video. I am starting my first build ARF of a balsa model (Phoenix Corsair 0.52). Which video would be the best to learn to build (installing the servos, pushrods, mounting the engine, fitting fuel tank and tubes linkage to the glow engine, glueing the hinges, installing the gear, etc.) and how to measure the CG (should I fill the fuel tank first!). Thanks
Try looking at my old P-47 assembly video. It's probably the closest to a glow engined model build: ua-cam.com/video/_Z__vgkBeYs/v-deo.html
For your Corsair, measure the CG with the tank empty and landing gear retracted.
@@HobbyView Awesome , thanks a lot
Thanks Fitz , can’t believe I was watching your videos for hours and hours, so much fun and learning, relaxing with no heavy metal music.. love your channel
Super nice
Great video as always Fitz, any plans on building the Seagull Pietenpol Air Camper? Building one myself at the moment and planning on going with an EME 60, looking forward to the maiden of the Agwagon.
It's a distinct possibility.
excellent video fitz! question wich do you like better the hangar9 brave or the c 188? do they fly similar?
Hmm... Very different planes. The Brave is a bit smaller and more nimble while the C-188 is larger and more scale like.
I have learned from experience to fly this bird more like a warbird after a few close calls. While it looks like a gentle civilian plane, it has a wicked wicked stall.
Thanks for sharing.
I felt exactly the same way about those flap hinges. I'm really surprised that Seagull found those to be acceptable.
Great review Fitz 👍 🦘
Another great video. I'm wondering if the spray rails are only meant for smoke or can you spray water out of them if you wanted.
Yes, technically you could spray any thin liquid through it. I briefly planned to spray colored water through it.
@@HobbyViewI put water ballast in a 1/3 ASW20 glider, Couldn't see it come out. Adding dish soap helped the look as it trailed tiny bubbles.
Why not the stinger twin cyl 30?
Valley View RC has some nice throttle/choke arms of different styles.
Engine comes with a longer arm. I think I briefly thought about a twin, don't remember why I didn't.
Hello, " I can't have anything nice. " L.O.L. So true for me too. " Hey! "
Mr. Fritz , that is a nice plane, nice video i am looking forward for the flight.
I need some advice: i found a p38 foam plane for my son ( 54inches) but he is still learning landing and taking off, do you have an advice about what could be a good trainer plane to prepare him to fly his p-38?
the instructors mentioned a apprentice sts, but i am not sure ....do you have an advice? many thanks!!
Apprentice is a very good start. Learn to fly that confidently first. I would also recommend something like the e-Flite T-28 (1.2m version) as an advanced trainer before going to the P-38.
@@HobbyView many Thanks for the advise!!!
Is there a need to set up trust angles ?
no. Thrust angle(s) are built into the firewall.
@@HobbyView
So basically the firewalls are angled on all models?
@@juice-gotcha833 , not all models, but most are. You can see it if you look closely.
Love your vids
nice job.... looks like exactly the one i fly ;)
Hi, what prop in your stinger 35cc ?
19x8 is a good start
wow, 168 lbs, What engine is going in that??? It must be a beast.
Almost lost my buddy's today. Really squirrelly on takeoff. Any suggestions? Cg?
Hmm... try a little down elevator to get the tail up when you start the take-off roll.
Looks to me like rocket science
That pilot dummy looks like he could use a few cups of coffee.
After all of the work. Don't you wish you could climb in a fly?
First?!
Only counts for people who watch.
Remove the struts. On the real zag Wagon the struts are aerodynamic and do not have an adverse affect on stall speed. Not so on the models, where the struts cause the stall speeds to rise. Be prepared to take a bag along to pick up the smaller pieces.
Yes. No Biden make us eat bugs!
